The Department of Homeland Security recently revealed that two million illegal immigrants have left America since President Trump took office, with many choosing to self-deport.

The figure includes about 1.6 million illegal immigrants who voluntarily self-deported and more than 400,000 who were deported, according to a news release.

The Department of Homeland Security is on track to total 600,000 deportations during Trump’s first year back in office, the release said.

“The numbers don’t lie: 2 million illegal aliens have been removed or self-deported in just 250 days — proving that President Trump’s policies and Secretary Noem’s leadership are working and making American communities safe,” Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.

The news release also noted that, for the past four months in a row, Customs and Border Protection has not released a single illegal immigrant into the United States.

This achievement has not come without challenges. Many on the left have protested against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Law enforcement officers have faced doxxing, assaults, threats, and comparisons to Nazis. Nevertheless, these agents persevered, fighting to make America safer.

Before he was elected, President Trump promised mass deportations and tightened security at the border. Now, eight months into his presidency, he and his administration are working to keep those promises.

Let’s thank God for how he is using law enforcement to make our nation safer!
