As attacks against ICE continue, changes are coming. According to insiders, the agency is undergoing a leadership shakeup fueled by deportation disagreements in the DHS.

A mass shakeup of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) leadership is underway amid growing friction inside the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over deportation tactics and priorities, according to four senior DHS officials.
The overhaul affects ICE field offices in at least eight cities and will replace many senior leaders with Border Patrol officials, marking an unprecedented power shift inside DHS and exposing sharp divisions over how far to go in ramping up deportations, the officials told Fox News.
The changes are being driven by competing camps inside DHS.
Some officials, lead by Border Czar Tom Homan and ICE Director Todd Lyons, want to stick to deporting criminal migrants and those with final deportation orders. Meanwhile, the opposing camp, led by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, senior adviser Corey Lewandowski, and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino, want to target all illegal migrants to boost deportation numbers.
Two officials described the mood in the DHS as “tense” and “combative.” Some ICE leaders are warning that shifting the focus to all illegal migrants could erode ICE support.
At IFA, we know that ICE needs all the support it can get right now. The agency has faced enormous pushback, and ICE agents have faced frequent threats and attacks. Meanwhile, the Bible tells us that a house divided against itself will not stand (Matt. 12:25). Will this division and tension stop the good things ICE has been doing.

I stand with Tom Holman. We need to focus on removing criminals and those marked for deportation. These are the people who endanger our lives. We shouldn’t be concerned about numbers. My friend has a maid who is illegal. She’s been here for 12 years. She works, pays taxes, and makes meaningful contributions to society. She shouldn’t be a priority. Lord, grant our leaders wisdom in navigating this difficult and polarizing issue.
I believe we need to focus on criminals and those with final deportation orders. Going into businesses and taking people from their jobs and families is not helpful and builds a lot of anger. There needs to be compassion for people who are living peacefully, working hard and raising families. It seems as many have tried to get appointments to extend visas and make things right, but can’t get an appointment. There should be a way to get them on a path to legal status. These raids especially seem targeted towards people of color. My daughter’s friend was deported along with her mother, even though she was born here. This is not right. I repeat, absolutely go after criminals and bad actors. But, we need to show compassion to others. I pray for wisdom and discernment in this.
Father, I pray this division would cease and unity persist. May the two sides come together. We have enough division in our country. May your Holy Spirit move in hearts to agree and be at peace.
The Constitution of the United States and our immigration laws are clear. If any person crosses into our country illegally and are caught, they face deportation! Therefore all who have overstayed their Visa, all who skipped immigration court, all who has been ordered deported are criminals. They have broken U. S. immigration laws. As criminals are being searched for, EVERYONE THAT IS ILLEGAL NEEDS TO BE GONE ALSO AS THEY ARE ENCOUNTERED! The President of Poland said his border patrol has orders to shoot to kill people attempting to illegally cross Poland’s border! At least our border agents are not shooting to kill illegals. FATHER GOD let DHS consult American Immigration laws and deport quickly all who broke those laws. I bind all division and confusion within DHS and ICE.
FATHER GOD also please protect all of DHS and all of our ICE agents from hurt, harm, and danger as they perform their job in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen.
