Reeling from decisions they disagree with, the left is looking to remove conservatives from the SCOTUS. We must pray against this.
From The Epoch Times. House Democrats on Tuesday introduced a bill to place term limits on U.S. Supreme Court justices in a bid to “restore balance” to the majority conservative bench.

The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, claimed that the nation’s higher court faced a “legitimacy crisis.”
“Five of the six conservative justices on the bench were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote, and they are now racing to impose their out-of-touch agenda on the American people, who do not want it,” he said in a press release.
Johnson is joined by a group of Democratic lawmakers, including co-sponsors Reps. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), David Cicilline (D-R.I.), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), Karen Bass (D-Calif.), and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.).
Stung by rulings “this last year,” which he did not name, Nadler said he wanted term limits to shift the balance of power away from the conservative majority, which he considers to be “radical, unrestrained….”
Opposition
Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman, who was part of President Joe Biden’s Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court in late June, previously said substantial reforms could be “disastrous….”
Republicans have criticized Biden for creating the commission…
[Sen. Mitch McConnell said] “This faux-academic study of a non-existent problem fits squarely within liberals’ years-long campaign to politicize the court, intimidate its members and subvert its independence.”
Biden created the commission by executive order on April 9, 2021….
Democrats
Nadler expressed concern that the United States would “be left with” a majority of conservative Supreme Court justices “for a generation or more.”
“Instead, under this bill, each President would be entitled to appoint two justices,” he added…
Cicilline claimed the Supreme Court is losing the public’s confidence, and held the legislation up as a way to restore “the Court’s important role in our constitutional system.”
This is not the first attempt to take aim at the Supreme Court by Democrats, who earlier this month called for legislation to add four more seats to the bench to work around the conservative majority.
The Bill
Under the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization (TERM) Act (pdf), a new justice would take the bench every two years and spend 18 years in active service.
Staggering term limits with nine justices means there will be a vacancy every two years, allowing each president two appointees per term….

I do not believe any position…appointed or elected…should be for life. I am in favor of term limits for all branches of government.
Father, I pray for our Supreme Court and for our Congressmen and women that they would call on you for wisdom. Turn their hearts to your Word of Truth. May thise who walk opposite your word be called and chosen to belong to you.
We are living in a day of Lawlessness which has never been seen at the level it is today. Sadly, we are facing that which we have allowed to envelope us over the past fifty years in that we have removed God Jehovah from our schools, our board rooms, and in many respects our Churches and above all, from our homes. We have sown to the wind and now we are reaping a whirlwind. May God have mercy upon us and grant to this nation a Great Awakening. Without it we are doomed.
Lord Jesus, we know You are Soverign over all things. We pray that is Your will for the biblical church to unite in prayer to stop this evil bent of our nation. If it is Your Will, please restore the heart of Americans to You. If this is part of the end times, may we be faithful in persecution.

Uh, they can’t do that. They would need a constitutional amendment.
It term limits are placed upon Supreme Court Justices, it needs to be applied to Senators and Congressman. It is is good for one is good, it is good for all.
Is there no end to the shouting and intimadation tactics of the progressives that have taken over the left side of the isle of congress? Instead of coming to the table, they think they can just dictate what Will be, or they push the goal line or change the rules of the game when they feel like it like some little kids making up the rules as they go or like a playground bully, and then you beat them at their own game and they switch the game on you and dont tell you but expect you to play by the rules, but dont tell you what they are, they use socialist tactics, to gain control and set people against each other, and then play the victom card and pretend to care all the while subverting people under the guise of niceitys and get the young to do their dirty work or let the young be their boss, and what ever someone like the squad or a well meaned care for the environment greta thundburg says they bend like blades of grass before a mower like it was God who spoke and not only cowtow to the whim but bend even father then their wishes were to begin with, and expect everyone else to or assume that those in the middle or right are stupid, or deplorables, or our protests are just astroturf, or someone cant possibly be opressed based on the color of their skin, and let skin color or who you love determine where you are on merit, yes the world is not always fair, yes people have the mentality of flocking to who is most like them, but we can rise above that and make one Church like we were called to do, preach all that Jesus taught and make deciples of all nations, it is a command, and love all as Jesus Loved us, even if we dont tolorate sin, or lies, and teaching the ignorant of the ways of God is a work of mercy as one cant be saved in the end without it. but they want non of it , and freedom for all ways and whims but us, we are expected to shut up like kids when the adults are talking, or a boss or judge when in trouble. There seems to be no end to it or the immorality behind it, and they glorify vices and the less desireable things or urban and afrocentric urban life, drugs, murder womanizing, immodesty, swaring, not the real genuine afro centric values of faith, or family, wisdom of the elders, not like it was and not the faithful growing by leaps and bounds and on fire for the holy spirit church in africa today like in nigeria where the church is oppressed by islamic fundamentalists, but has one of the largest catholic populations in africa, or the faithful to the teachings of the church from Guina Cardnal Robert Sara, who is wise and steadfast that which is going to save the church from the errors of agnostic east and excesses and lapses in the post Christian west.
stand steadfast to the truth of God, and natural law written on the hearts of mankind across humanity and nation, Natural law is the will and love of God woven into creation this is absolute, and unabragatable, and over arching, like the soul and dna woven into the fabric of being of the person from their creation and conception.
Brothers and Sisters stand steadfast and hold fast to the bedrock of faith, that is the church this is not just the building or congragation but the body of God, and Heaven as its head, and we are the hands and feet to carry and build the kingdom on earth.
Lord, these people should not be attempting to change the Constitution, but rather upholding and defending it. Change their hearts and minds. If they continue to attempt to dismantle our Constitution, remove them from office. Amen.
Term limits on senators and congressmen first! The founders never intended for them to make it a lifetime career.
Dear Lord, I pray that the evil that is coming out of this administration would be stopped and that you would cleanse Washington DC Democratic Party bills and proposals that are not of your righteous intent for our country. It is nonstop with them, they are trying everything they can to destroy this Constitution and to change everything they can to reflect their unholy and unrighteous values, and to reflect their evil purposes. I pray that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and that their bills will be defeated. Please have the entire Senate stand up for you and you alone!!!!!✝️ I pray for the November election that you would place godly men and women in those positions that they are running for, in Jesus’ name I pray!!!!🙏✝️
