IFA President and CEO Dave Kubal is calling intercessors to pray that 2023 would be the year of truth and justice. Kubal highlighted three situations the Lord used to show him the prophetic prayer direction: the miracle of Twitter and how it now protects free speech; how Twitter’s new policies have revealed proof that there were government agencies that were weaponized against the freedoms of America; and, finally, how this resulted in the spiritual battle for the Speaker of the House.

The fight for the Speaker’s gavel was a manifestation of the spiritual battle in the heavenlies, Kubal shared on IFA’s First Friday call on Jan. 6, 2023 — an auspicious date, perhaps. The 15 rounds of votes represented hours of discussions, agreements, and deliberations, ultimately creating an environment in which justice can be served against wrongdoers.
At the time of the webcast, the outcome was still unsettled. Kubal urged intercessors to pray Proverbs 21:15 over the situation and throughout the year, “When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” About Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, Kubal said:
For years we’ve been praying for the protection of free speech. And the answer to our prayers is this: The richest man in the world purchased the largest communication system in the world, with one purpose — to protect free speech. This is grand answered prayer!
Musk has restored to the platform many voices — including many Christian and conservative ones — that had been censored, harassed, and banned by former Twitter leadership and employees. Beyond that, Musk’s release of internal Twitter documents revealed a webbing and wide-spread conspiracy to suppress debate on many critically important issues. Kubal said:
As [Musk has] come into leadership of Twitter, it has been clearly shown through exhaustive investigation — something that we intercessors discerned — that government agencies have been weaponized against America and our personal freedoms. Twitter would check with the FBI, the NSA, and a few different agencies on what to say about certain issues over these past couple of years, whether it was related to the Russiagate or Russia influence in our election or the pandemic. They censored truthful information, while emphasizing information that was known to be false and misleading.
Musk also revealed many Twitter executives were former employees of the FBI and other government agencies who reported back to their agencies much of what they learned at the social media giant. Kubal said, “Now this is no longer conspiracy theory. Those of us who see into the spiritual realm and see the spiritual battles are not surprised by what has been uncovered.“
Most important, Kubal said the earthly battle over the Speaker of the House reflected the spiritual battle over America’s future. Musk’s revelations from Twitter emails and other internal communications prove key government agencies are actively warring against the freedoms of American citizens, according to Kubal. He said the prolonged negotiations over the vote for the Speaker of the House hinged on the insistence of the most conservative members that certain processes and procedures must be put in place to ensure not only the truth be revealed, but also that justice is served.
Kubal shared from much of his insider knowledge and many conversations with people on Capitol Hill:
…The list of items that the House Freedom Caucus have insisted upon and Congressman McCarthy has agreed to, as of [Jan. 5], would ensure for a more effective process, more effective procedures to investigate the wrongdoings of our government. This is what I believe is really going on in the spiritual realm, and the year of 2023. I’m calling the IFA community to pray that this would be a year of truth and justice. We need to have effective congressional investigations into government corruption.
Among the concessions Representative Kevin McCarthy made in his quest for the office of Speaker of the House:
- Two new panels to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus and the weaponization of government agencies against Americans’ freedoms.
- Key changes to the rules governing the business of the House.
- More representation of conservatives on key House committees, including the Rules Committee.
- A commitment to tie spending cuts to a debt-ceiling increase.
- A process easing amendment of individual spending bills.
Kubal was careful not to label any one person or group of people as evil; the battle, as intercessors know, is not against humans but against the demonic forces arrayed against Christ and His servant America.
Let’s join in Kubal’s prayer as we launch our year of praying for truth and justice:
Lord, we pray Proverbs 21:15. ”When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous, but terror to the evildoer.”
We pray into the spiritual battle that is going on before our very eyes. We realize what is at stake is justice. What is at stake is terror being brought to those who bring evil to our nation. We know that what is at stake is joy to the righteous because we know justice is served.
We humbly ask You to make 2023 a year of truth and justice. We ask You to move. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to pray and participate in shaping history through prayer and fasting. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Thank you for this. Evil flees only when there is no backbone. With the exposure of evil, David was incensed because he loved God, and whoever loves God loves what God loves and hates what God hates. The giant came tumbling down! But not without a fight. It’s spiritual warfare we are doing. We who are professing Christians must not back down from a fight when we know we are right. Thank you IFA for your work and for pressing into the fight on your knees.

As I have been studying and releasing prayer, I began to wonder if what I was doing was being effective? As I read Job :22-26 then Proverbs : 21:15 When Justice is done? I looked up Justice- I saw the meaning described as- Correctness, a fact, Truth, being fair, conform to law. Job: v. 28 – (What you decide on will be done)” and light will shine on your way- Proverbs says it brings joy to the righteous . I was astounded when I discovered Decrees & Declarations were something I was doing by taking Gods words from the Bible and praying those words inserting a persons name or problem in place of a name in the Bible.- In Acts 13:11, we read that Paul decreed blindness, in Acts 14:10, he spoke to a lame man in a loud voice, ‘Stand up straight on your feet!’ And the man leaped up and immediately walked.” Wow? Decrees and what they represent! This does not discount prayer, prayer is essential. “ Prayer is actually the foundation for every decree we make, for through a constant flow of communication with the Father, we are able to more clearly hear the words He would have us speak.”” I knew we had Authority but felt I was not the one to claim it. I learned quickly we all have Authority and we need to use it; the same thing concerning Decrees, and Declarations. We pray as we connect with Jesus, then learn to Decree Gods words. Prayer is our petition to our Father, we communicate, we talk to him with our voice requesting our petitions; as we speak our Decrees, our voices are released in the earth to request a change. Job- 22:28 What you decide on will be done, because you have spoken a request of TRUTH, a FACT- Job in KJV- says Thou shalt also decree a thing,- the Thing is Us, not just pastors, or prophet. “ The Hebrew word for thing means the word or the promise” GH15” When we decree we have spoken Gods words; what power! When we are in tune with the Holy Spirit and we use our prayer language we remove darkness and boldly use our gift by breaking the strong hold of Satan. I do agree with one thing maybe two the Government for years has destroyed our America by being caught up in the darkness spiritual realm as well as some churches trying to destroy our America. This is why Decrees& Declarations are as Essential as Just prayer. “because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.” Genesis 26:5 I want to quote a special message from Kenneth C. “ Make sure the word of God is your final Authority in your life” “ You will know me because I am the truth. I am the life, and I am the way, MY FATHER IS TRUTH. “ It will break all bondages the devil has put in America. Powerful words he KC sent out in a small booklet for 2023. Prayers for our schools, our children who are not getting an education but evil demons from our school board and teachers. Prayers, thinking God for His opening the eye of everyone of this evil teach. Thank God for everything. His power over evil. Thank you Lord for taking care of our country and the world. Amen.
My prayers is that those who are suffering in jail for something they didn’t do, should be released. God himself is the judge for the ignorant

I Pray that truth and justice would prevail in our government. May the laws passed honor God’s truth and righteousness in our nation. May those who seek power through lies and deceit be revealed and removed. May our borders be secured from invasion and illegal migration. May all who desire to destroy our people with drugs and violence be intercepted and prosecuted. May we repent as a nation for forgetting our God given freedom and foundation and may we return to being a light to the nations. Amen
Thank you for the reminder not to take on attitudes toward a person, but to remember it is a battle in the heavenly realm that we fight. It is so easy to fight the politicians, but it goes beyond this. These are very focused prayer points that help one to keep fixed on the eternal. god Bless Toni

Isa 29:15. “What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their evil deeds in the dark. (Vs 17:) SOON! (Vs20:) the scoffer will be gone, the arrogant will disappear and those who plot evil will be killed. )Vs21:)Those who convict the innocent by their false testimony will disappear. A similar fate awaits those who pervert justice and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.”
I pray they all repent as we ask Spirit of the Lord to move in their midst. Salvation to those who will! Amen.

I have long prayed for God to do a work of bringing His wisdom into every level of governance in the US. I am so excited and full of gratitude as I see it coming to fruition. I have also been asking Him for years to raise up His people to pray for our nation. All I can say is “Thank you Abba hor hearing and answering our prayers and for using people like Dave Kubal to lead the way!”
I agree with Dave’s request Lord. Make this year a year of truth and justice. And Lord, let your sovereign Word be established that says “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” Pro 10:9. Father, there’s such freedom in this! And this is what you call us to – to live in integrity, freedom, and joy! I pray the leaders of our nation – both Congress and pastoral leadership may know the blessings of integrity and lead the people from this position of integrity. I pray Father that all leaders will repent of sin- wherever it is found – and from the wounds of it healing may come. In Jesus’ name.
I have been praying Is 59:14-15 most of 2022, It is a prayer for truth for without truth there can be no justice or righteousness. I will add prov 21:15 to my prayers.
[Isa 59:14-15 ESV] 14 Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter. 15 Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.
Lord Jesus, please, by Your great mercy and grace, let 2023 be a year of the truth being revealed and justice being served. Our nation SO desperately needs for these two things to happen
Father, we thank You for Your great love where with You loved us and gave Yourself for us. I realize that the small “ us “ is all mankind. But if we simply change “ us “ to caps, we get “US “. I agree with IFA and continue to stand in the gap for the United States. I truly believe that 2023 is a historic and tipping point year.

All arise! For God now comes to judge as he convenes heavens, court room. He charges every judge and rules in the mist of gods , saying how long will you judge is refused to listen to the voice of truth and justice, and continue to corrupt what is right by judge, and in favor of wrong?
