The shooter, identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, opened fire during a study hall before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes confirmed that six others were injured, with two students in critical condition.

Amidst attacks and allegations, Defense Secretary Nominee Pete Hegseth gained robust endorsement from retired servicemen and Republicans alike. Over 120 retired U.S. generals and admirals publicly displayed their firm backing for Hegseth. Republican senators have also expressed comfort with Hegseth leading the Department of Defense following meetings with the nominee.

After ABC News disseminated false information about President Trump, he filed a defamation suit against them. The company opted for an out-of-court settlement, accompanied by an apology to President Trump. As part of the settlement, ABC News agreed to pay $15 million in damages and $1 million towards Trump’s legal expenses.

The Satanic Temple’s display in New Hampshire was torn down just three days after its installation. Concord Mayor Byron Champlin admitted he originally opposed the permit due to its anti-religious agenda. The vandalism, meanwhile, is now under police investigation.

Under the Biden administration, the Department of Education has reportedly been disproportionately targeting Christian and career colleges. Statistics from the American Principles Project show nearly 70 percent of penalties from the Office of Enforcement fell on these institutions, making up less than 10 percent of college students. This Christmas, The Satanic Temple is making controversial headlines by targeting the holiday season to promote their secularist views. They planned a supposedly “family-friendly” event at the Iowa State Capitol, promising Satanic holiday carols, a Satanic altar, and some kind of ritual. In addition, they’ve installed a satanic holiday monument outside the New Hampshire State Capitol, representing their stand against what they view as arbitrary authority.

In recent educational news, Louisiana legislated the posting of the Ten Commandments in public classrooms and state-funded universities. Representative Dodie Horton introduced, and the legislature passed, House Bill 71, sparking controversy and challenges from several multifaith families. Though five parishes are exempt as a result of legal battles, the list will be displayed in the majority of districts beginning January 1, 2025.

Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin is blocking the promotion of Lieutenant General Christopher Donahue over the role he played in the Afghanistan withdrawal. Donahue, currently a three-star general, was nominated to become a four-star general and lead U.S. Army forces in Europe. He was also one of many high-ranking officials who oversaw the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal that left Americans dead. As plans ramp up ahead of President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, it is important for more and more lawmakers to follow Senator Mullin’s lead in holding the line.

Special Counsel Jack Smith has petitioned Judge Tanya Chutkan to drop Trump’s charges related to January 6th. Chutkan must validate this request before all charges against the President-Elect can be officially dismissed. Senator Bernie Sanders’s bid to limit arms sales to Israel was overwhelmingly blocked across party lines in the Senate. A whistleblower recently alleged that the FBI’s security clearance process is politically compromised. Luckily, as President-Elect Donald Trump seeks clearance for many of his cabinet picks, he has come up with a new plan to counter this corruption. By turning to private companies to vet administrative appointees, Trump hopes to bypass the FBI’s security clearance process altogether.

Many of Trump’s picks for his administration have strong, pro-Israel stances. From Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Israel Ambassador Mike Huckabee, experts feel that Trump’s picks may make his administration one of the most pro-Israel administrations in American history.

Progressive billionaires and nonprofits are descending on D.C., aiming to plot ways to oppose Trump once he takes office. One specific group known as Democracy Alliance, backed by George Soros, will recommend anti-Trump nonprofits for donations. As activists and donors oppose our incoming President, it’s up to us to counter them in prayer!

Let’s pray. Lord, we pray for Donald Trump and his administration as they transition into power. We pray for Your will to be done in the White House and beyond. Let the enemy’s attempts to stop him fail, and use our incoming President to accomplish Your will. In your name we pray, amen.

This comes after President Biden’s decision to allow Ukraine to strike targets inside of Russia with American weapons, something that Russian President Putin has long warned would result in conflict. As tensions rise, we pray for peace in Europe and for wise leaders in America who will resolve this situation.

Donald Trump may have won the presidency, but he’s not out of the woods yet. Marc Elias, an infamous Democrat election lawyer, is threatening Trump and his legal team. With thousands of lawyers behind him, he is a true goliath, aiming to bring lawfare challenges against the President-Elect.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home was attacked recently by three men who fired flares, igniting a fire next to the building. Speaking to CNN in a recent interview, House Speaker Mike Johnson stressed the need to send a message to the nations of the world, telling them that the United States’ “open door” at the border is being closed.

The U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania is set for a recount between Democratic incumbent Senator Bob Casey and Republican David McCormick. McCormick’s lead of about 28,000 votes falls within the 0.5% margin, triggering an automatic statewide recount. The recount, largely involving high-speed scanners, must begin by November 20th, with results due by the 26th.

The Pentagon faces chaos as Trump targets DEI and its supporters, and the organization is now working to scrub all mentions of DEI from its websites. Insiders report an ‘absolute disarray’ and fear as Trump’s pending administration plans to cut DEI-focused senior military leaders, prioritizing combat readiness instead. An executive order to establish a panel for the removal of specific military officers is reportedly in the works, refocusing the U.S. military away from ‘woke ideology.’

Democrats aim to pass ‘radical’ sex education legislation in Michigan’s state House before Republicans take over in 2025. The proposed changes include allowing teaching about sexuality and abortion as a family planning method. Republicans argue it’s an overreach that undermines abstinence-based educational approaches.

A recent poll revealed over 75% of Americans support halting illegal immigration. Many also endorse President-Elect Trump’s upcoming deportation plan. Even within Democratic ranks, 61% deem stopping illegal immigration necessary.

Let’s pray. Dear Lord, we lift up the recount in Pennsylvania before You. We pray for a fair and just result. Additionally, we come against all DEI initiatives in the Pentagon, and we pray that our military would prioritize combat readiness over woke policies. We intercede on behalf of Michigan, and we pray that attempts to pass radical sex education legislation would fail. Finally, we ask You to give President-Elect Trump wisdom and guidance as he prepares to enact his deportation plan. We pray all this in Your name. Amen.

The Trump Administration welcomed fervent Christians, Governor Kristi Noem and Fox News host and veteran Pete Hegseth. Noem, who will serve as Secretary of Homeland Security, has fought for biblical principles as both a Representative and a Governor. Hegseth, chosen for the role of Secretary of Defense, also actively demonstrates his Christian faith, as seen in a prayer he offered live on Fox & Friends.

In related news, President-Elect Donald Trump appointed billionaires Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to manage the new Department of Government Efficiency. According to Trump, this department will provide “advice and guidance from outside of Government” and foster an unprecedented entrepreneurial approach to governance. Musk and Ramaswamy are the latest to be tapped by the president-elect to serve in his upcoming administration, joining an ever-growing list of remarkable conservative leaders.

Senate Republicans elected John Thune as their leader in Wednesday’s secret ballot, replacing Senator Mitch McConnell. Thune will assume his new role in January. He will be instrumental in helping President-Elect Trump enact his agenda in 2025 and beyond.

After a violent attack in Amsterdam following a soccer match, Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has warned of rising antisemitism levels not seen since WW2. Special evacuation flights brought 2000 Israelis home after the attacks, signaling escalating fear and tension. Sa’ar calls for global solidarity, urging nations to secure their Jewish communities and combat this ‘new anti-Semitism.’

We thank You for the Christians who will join him in Washington, and we pray that all who will serve in his administration will do so with wisdom and in a way that honors You. We ask You to guide the Senate’s new leader, John Thune, as he prepares to assume his new role in January. Finally, we pray against antisemitism around the world. We ask You to protect the Jewish people and their home nation, Israel. We pray this in Your name. Amen.
