During a press conference on Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, boasted about the lowering rate of novel coronavirus cases in the state while seemingly taking a jab at the faithful.
“The number is down because we brought the number down,” he told reporters Monday. “God did not do that. Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that.”
“A lot of pain and suffering did that,” the Democrat continued. “That’s how it works. It’s math. And if you don’t continue to do that, you’re going to see that number go back up. And that will be a tragedy if that number goes back up.”

The remarks come as leaders across the nation clamp down on the faithful. Some mayors, for example, have even banned drive-in church services, suggesting they somehow violate “social distancing” measures.
Gov. Cuomo has a track record of what’s been at least perceived as a hostile commentary and actions toward faithful conservatives.
For example, the Democrat celebrated an abortion-till-birth law by lighting up buildings pink, adding insult to injury for those who opposed the bill, including vocal faith leaders and followers.
Moreover, in 2014, Cuomo suggested conservatives, including the “Right to Life” groups by-name, leave the state of New York if they do no like his liberal policies.
“Their [conservatives] problem isn’t me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves,” he said at the time, adding, “Who are they? Right to life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

I also wonder… if he has an explanation why the numbers of his state are higher than all the others? God did not do that…WE did that? Yes. They did that….and He allowed it. He allowed them to experience the consequences of making an alliance with evil and not with the Lord of Life. The voice sounds so familiar, does it not? It denigrates God and rises up man…..making him the answer and the solution. I pray that the Lord has mercy and humbles their hearts. If it does not come to pass, then I pray He relocate the financial center of this country to a Godly state and location that honors Him. They will be left to the hardness of their own hearts…Lord… call Your people to repentance and YOUR will be done in this situation, in YOUR great power and wisdom, bring about what is needed, in this hour. We honor You and glorify YOUR name.
Father, We speak OVERTHROW. Overthrow the dominion of evil in New York state. YOUR Spirit come and YOUR will be done in the state. CAST down pride. Cast down corruption and murder and the boastfulness of man. Oh HOLY Spirit, we rebuke and we ask for forgiveness for the arrogance of man, that denies your hands at work to preserve and defend YOUR children. LORD Jesus, the lives preserved were healed in YOUR blood and by Your stripes and pain…offered by You so long ago. Father I pray this governor will have his Damascus road moment. I pray he will come face to face with YOU, while he walks the earth. That he will fall on his knees and repent before you, while there is yet time. We pray his heart will soften, turn and serve You. We ask he be blessed with the gift of Salvation. We pray he will publicly renounce and repent of the words he has spoken and will praise YOUR Holy Name. Finally, Lord, if with all has been asked, he refuses, we ask you remove him from power. Give them a Godly governor and convict the hearts of those in the state to humble themselves and serve You and You alone. Have mercy on them, Lord and heal their state, in Jesus’s mighty name.

The story of King Nebbuchanesser of Babylon’s humiliation is what came to my mind upon reading Governor Cuomo’s words. May he come to the same understanding that King Nebbuchanesser came to after he was humbled….
“ 34 And at the end of the [k]time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:
For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven

Someone should have asked him if God told him that. How is he so sure God didn’t have anything to do with it? We want the proof of that statement. Like everything the gov says its all a bunch of crap made up just like this over hyped china sickness.

So God either Cuomo repents and accepts you as his Savior or bring him down. The level of corruption in the government of NY state is huge and he is the leader. Bring him down!
Father, have mercy on your son, Andrew Cuomo, for he is both deceived and prideful. You set kings in office, and so this man rules as governor of NYS. The governor’s heart is in Your hand, oh Lord, as with the rivers of water, turn his heart toward you. (PV 21:1). Holy Spirit bring sweet conviction to the errors of his ways that he would confess his sins, repent from doing evil in the land, and bow his knee and embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior of his life. By his hand sexual perversion, killing of the unborn, and disregard for the sanctity of marriage was legislated in the Empire State. We intercede on behalf of the governor and the state and beseech you to forgive these atrocious sins and heal the Empire State. Let this state repent and become an empire of Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
We thank you Lord that the Governor is proactive in fighting the Coronavirus – that he recognized it as a strategy of “The Beast” in his news briefing on April 19th stating, “”We can control the beast. Yes, but the beast is still alive. We did not kill the beast –– and the beast can rise up again,”. By your hand and your hand alone we will overcome this dual pandemic of sickness and fear. Almighty God stretch forth your hand and show yourself powerful to free us from this virus, from fear, and from strategies of the evil one ruling through leaders. In the name of Jesus we pray, AMEN
Heavenly Father help us to pray for Gov Cuomo though he does not acknowledge your truth and mercy. You say to pray for our enemies so I pray you would cause his heart to turn to you. There are some that should your glory be revealed in the most miraculous way they would still deny You. I pray against that heart condition for Gov Cuomo. I stand in the gap and repent for the sin of pride. Holy Spirit give him a spirit of repentance. Lord have mercy for him and the people of New York.
As a Christian living in NY, I stand in the gap for Coumo and ask for forgiveness! Lord have mercy on those of us that love you and praise your great name in this state. I ask you to soften his hard heart, give him eyes to see and ears to hear. Strengthen YOUR people especially those of us in NY and other states run by nonbelievers. I pray for those in positions of authority over us that you reveal yourself to them in a mighty way. We ask this in the name of Jesus.
I was very disappointed when Governor Cuomo made the remarks “The number is down because we brought the number down,” he told reporters Monday. “God did not do that. Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that.” His comment reminded me of the response of King Herod wen people praised him and he failed to give the glory to God. It would be wise for Governor Cuomo to reconsider his remarks, in light of God’s judgement of King Herod, as recorded in the book of Luke:
¶“20Now Herod was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon. Their country depended on the king’s country for food, so they came to him with a united front to make peace —they’d been able to win over Blastus, the king’s personal aide. 21On an appointed day, Herod dressed himself in royal clothing, sat on the throne, and made a speech to them. 22The people shouted, ‘The voice of God, and not of a man!’ 23Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he didn’t give God the glory. He was eaten by worms and died.” (Acts 12:20-23).
LORD, I pray you will forgive Governor Cuomo for taking the credit for the reduction in cases and cause him to reconsider that You were was involved in the result, using good people to help bring this about. I pray you will soften his heart toward You and Your people in New York.
It’s interesting that on Thursday, April 9th (a day set aside to remember God; when Jesus said, “do this in remembrance; the Last Supper), Maundy Thursday, New York reports 777 deaths.
Some call it superstitious non-sense coincidence, but that number 777 represents God, the perfect Trinity.
Scoff it off…but I believe, one day we’ll all look back from eternity and see God was talking, knocking, making it all too clear the entire time…and if we didn’t hear it was because we refused to listen.
If not before, on that day, Mr. Cuomo sir, you’ll regret saying your words and the attitude of your heart.
It’s not HIS will that any perish, thus, He makes it real clear and simple.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for Governor Cuomo that he would be humbled and that his heart would be opened to you by your Holy Spirit.
We thank you Lord for your goodness to us. For giving us life, and breath, and everything we have us because of your goodness to us.
We thank you O Lord, and praise you for all that you are.
You only are great and greatly to be praised.
Help us Lord we are a sinful and undeserving people. Please forgive us and we ask for healing of our land.
