According to The Gateway Pundit, “A New York City judge has removed a 6-year-old girl from her mother because she did not wear a mask while dropping her off outside of the school.
In a shocking and egregious move, the court also told Dr. Epstein that in order to get short supervised visits with her child — she will have to wear a mask inside her own home.
It was a normal day for Dr. Micheline Epstein, a family physician, when she went to drop her daughter off at the Birch Wathen Lenox School on the Upper East Side last week — until her entire life was turned upside down in an instant. . . .
“No one got physical or anything, she just refused to wear the mask. They were outside on the public sidewalk,” Dr. Epstein’s boyfriend Jeff Guttenplan explained, adding that the daughter was wearing a mask because they are required to go inside.
The mother explained that the school nurse had came out and was aggressively demanding that she put on a mask, but she was already leaving and did not accept it. “The next thing I know, my daughter is taken away from me,” she cried.
Dr. Epstein is separated from her daughter’s father and they had a shared custody agreement where the child split times between the home equally. . . .
Following the confrontation at the school, Dr. Epstein left, but would soon find a letter from the expensive college prep school sent to her, her estranged husband, and the attorneys for both parties. The school was demanding that Dr. Epstein was no longer permitted to drop off or pick up her child from the school.
If that wasn’t already bad enough, the father used the notice about the mask situation to request an emergency hearing for full custody — which Justice Matthew F. Cooper granted after berating the already emotionally devastated mother. . . .
Additionally, the court decided that the mother is not permitted to remove her daughter from the expensive school — and told her that she does not have a choice in the matter. She is currently working three jobs to pay for not only her daughters expenses, but the six lawyers she hired to fight what she is referring to as the kidnapping of her child.
On Tuesday, Dr. Epstein was not permitted to see, or even speak to, her daughter — even though it was her sixth birthday.
To get two supervised visits with her daughter per week, she will need to wear a mask inside her own home. . . .
“The only thing I want is for people to stand up already and stop with this nonsense,” Dr. Epstein said, still attempting to mask that she has been crying, but unable to contain the complete heartbreak she is feeling. . . .
A family was kicked off a Spirit Airlines flight because their non-verbal autistic four-year-old son would not wear a mask.
According to The Gateway Pundit, “The family had a note from the child’s doctor saying that he is exempt due to his condition and is protected under the American Disability Act.
Callie Kimball of Little Rock, Ark., told THV11 that her husband, son, and babysitter had flown to Las Vegas on Spirit Airlines to visit family.
“He had a medical note from his physician stating that he’s exempt from wearing masks because whenever he wears a mask he holds his breath or he starts freaking out and he will harm himself,” said Kimball. . . .
“He has a disability. It’s protected under the American Disability Act and they go ‘No no no no. Autism’s not a disability. He has to wear a mask or he has to get off the plane.’” . . .
“Kids on the spectrum, they’re usually very obsessed with something. He is obsessed with airplanes. So he was sitting in his seat being quietly and looking out the window, and this lady was like ‘Get off!’” Kimball said.
The airline also refused to let the babysitter leave with them, causing her to get stranded in Dallas while he found another way home.
American Airlines accepted the note and let the boy fly, but it ended up costing the family roughly a thousand dollars. . . .
Spirit Airlines told the local news outlet that “our existing policy does not provide for medical exemptions, regardless of diagnosis. Our Team Members explained this to a family traveling today, but never questioned anyone’s medical status in the process. “ . . .

Situations such as these sadden me. There is no compassion, no reason, no logic! There is little I can do, but I can pray and show compassion and care to those around me. I am thankful God is still on His throne, the enemy is still truly a defeated foe and I pray fervently for a return to reason, true freedom, and demonstrated love for one another in our country!
I PRAY Lord Jesus that You Lord are making a way where there seems to be no way! I believe that this entire Covid 19 has been nothing more than a demonic plan to strip the American people of our liberties. What has happened to freedom of choice? It is astounding that business owners have the authority to dictate to their consumer what they will or will not do! Precious Heavenly Father, please grant us the Wisdom and the tenacity to over come these sick, perverted times we are living in where what is right is considered wrong and what is wrong is considered right! Our Nation is still One Nation under God! Set us FREE from the wicked evil spirit of man that seeks to destroy our land! In Jesus’precious holy name we PRAY❣️🙏😇
They are extreme examples. Father, in Jesus’ name, prevent this madness from spreading. Amen.
This is just a prelude to the other measures that usurp the authority of parents. Dr. Fauci stated the other day that the plan is to vaccinate all school children starting in September and babies starting in April 2022. What if a parent refuses since there is no data to support this medical action. How many children will be taken from their parents if they don’t agree to these egregious measures.
Whether we want to recognize it not, our freedoms are being steadily taken from us to the point that some people think this is normal and are all about, “Go along to get along.” Read the stories of how the Holocaust started especially how the Churches so easily acquiesce to crazy small demands that quickly evolved into bigger mandates and laws, resulting in a Church that felt and acted completely helpless, handing over their spiritual power to satan.
Father God, you have entrusted parents to train up a child and not the government. May Your Body support both in prayer and action the authority you have bestowed upon parents. We need you to show us how to fight this battle so that we don’t lose a generation of children to the demonic plans of the enemy and those he is using on this earth. We look to you as the Author and Finisher of our faith, knowing that the enemy is defeated and has no right to the minds, body, and souls of our children. In Jesus Name. Amen.
The mother and DR. Must sue for Harassment and Discrimination! She is a Medical Professional being “punished” for what? To leave any FACILITY UNMASKED BREAKS NO HEALTH SAFETY RULES! IT REFLECTS AGAIN ON GOVERNOR CUOMO!!! PURE TYRANNY!!! The ADA requires “REASONSBLE ACCOMODATIONS” BE MADE in the Autistic child’s case! BOTH cases are RIPE FOR A LAW SUIT! I PRAY FOR RECOMPENSATION, PUBLIC APOLOGIES AND A SERIOUS REFORM FROM AUTHORITARIAN RULES! THANK YOU FATHER IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!
These two stories along with many others are indicative of the ignorance and mixed panic driven messages/
behavior across all levels of society perpetuated by over zealous and poorly informed “know-it-alls.” Surely Spirit Airlines has heard of the American Disabilities Act and it isn’t just about wheelchair ramps. It addresses Public Accommodations and in this case for a child who receives special consideration under 2 other federal laws-Individuals with Disabilities Act and Section 504 although Airlines have been given some latitude on 504 in court decisions but perhaps they need to consider the needs of a child as determined by numerous qualified professionals who do more than collect tickets and pour coffee. It is my understanding this child with Autism had flown on Spirit Airlines multiple times previously following the same no-mask policy. The question is were previous personnel not following guidelines or respecting professional credentials? Then the convoluted decision not to allow the babysitter to leave with them-why? She was an employee of the family dependent upon them for salary and expenses. As a special educator and former compliance specialist when do we not make “medical exemptions!” Where was common sense? ” Proverbs 16:22 Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly.”
Then removing a child from a parent because a mask not worn “outside!” The science hasn’t agreed IF a mask is even needed outside! Does no one care the damage that is being done to our families and children by creating an environment built on FEAR? Have all professionals forgotten what role stability plays in mental health? Hysteria, parental bias, professional snobbishness should have NO role when turning a child’s family routine upside down.
This isn’t about the dictates of Caesar any longer because there are too many Caesars. I might add scientific data cannot be used when there has been no consistent guidelines. I find myself most days appalled by what I read and hear and repeat throughout the day, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) God have mercy on us for our hope is in you.
Lord give airline employees wisdom. Help the rest of us to Boycott Spirit Airlines and other agencies which are unreasonable. For the sake of the CHILDREN. OUR FUTURE!
Wow! This is crazy! First, is this newspaper legitimate? 2nd, I am not advocating giving up our freedom, however if we don’t want to accept the rules people have set for their business, (the school, and airline) we must be willing to accept the consequences. We all need to choose our battles very carefully during these crazy times. Whether I believe in wearing a mask or not, I would put it on if taking my child to a school that requires wearing masks. Also if I knew my child is likely to be upset by wearing a mask, I would have found an airline that would accommodate my autistic child before I traveled. FATHER GOD please help YOUR people to become “wise and harmless” in JESUS Name. Let us remember how the apostle Paul said that he “became all things to all people that he might win some!” I am not suggesting that we allow others to force their views on us; I am suggesting that we don’t try to force our views on others. FATHER GOD we ask that YOU order our steps and direct our path! Help this woman to regain custody of her child; and restore the money to the family with the autistic child. Help us to choose our battles only with direction from our HOLY SPIRIT in JESUS MIGHTY Name! Amen!
Apparently they had taken Spirit Airlines before without a problem. Both of these sound like an overreach of those in authority.
Oh Lord, when will this craziness end. Commonsense has fled and fear reigns in the hearts and minds of so many. I come to You before the throne of grace and ask that You would intervene and meet with people where they are. So many need You who don’t know you and we need You as Your children. We love You Lord and desire Your presence in any and every situation. Come Lord Jesus, come.
