Interceding for Israel’s Remnant During Perilous Times
After coming together for a short time to war against the existential threat of Islam against its nation, the government and people of Israel have returned to fighting against one another. There are renewed calls for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s resignation from within Israel, even as the United Nations ICC has issued arrest warrants for the Prime Minister and for Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant.

France, Germany, Brazil and South Africa are among the nations supporting the Israeli leaders’ arrest, while Ireland, Spain, and Norway have announced their formal recognition of a Palestinian state. In the U.S., along with other pro-Hamas terrorists, benefactors, and sympathizers, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has expressed his personal and formal support of the ICC’s warrant and labeling of Israel’s leaders as war criminals. No matter one’s opinion about Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli government officials, the incredulous labeling of a nation’s battle to protect itself from unprovoked massacre as criminal speaks louder than any rhetoric.
The renewed and intensifying intra-Israel rancor only leaves Israel’s people more vulnerable to their external and internal underground enemies. As Yeshua taught in Matthew 12:25, “But knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand,” a divided Israel is a defeated Israel.
Thankfully, GOD always has a remnant. Despite the nation state of Israel’s rejection of GOD and the Messiah, GOD has never and will never reject Israel. Romans 11 speaks of GOD’s unbroken promise and of the presence of a remnant, ones who were selected by grace to be withheld from bowing their knees to other gods.
Therefore I say, God has not rejected his people, has he? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, from the descendants of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people, whom he foreknew! Or do you not know, in the passage about Elijah, what the scripture says—how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life!” But what does the divine response say to him? “I have left for myself seven thousand people who have not bent the knee to Baal. So in this way also at the present time, there is a remnant selected by grace.
As it was during the Prophet Elijah’s GOD-directed stand against wicked King Ahab and Jezebel, when GOD said there were seven thousand who had not bowed their knees to B’aal, the remnant living in the Land are on the frontlines of this battle, and they need our intercession. Today Israel’s remnant, Jewish followers of Yeshua the Messiah as Savior and Lord, is estimated to be between 10,000 and 16,000. Numerically, they are a mere drop in the bucket of Israel’s approximately 9.6 million. I have heard from Christ-followers visiting and living in Israel that the weight of darkness and the constant spiritual warfare is palpable. When the threat of physical attack is added to the spiritual battles, some may easily grow weary or be deceived when offers of ‘peace, peace’ are presented. So weary, as was Elijah, that the risk of momentary surrender is not unheard of.
Pray and decree according to Galatians 6:8-10, that Israel’s Remnant will not grow weary in well-doing. Pray the LORD’s grace upon each one of them to commit themselves to sowing to the Spirit, through an unquenchable desire to spend time with GOD in the secret place. The secret place is where we encounter GOD intimately, and where He will restore their soul and renew their spirit. Pray for a double-anointing for Israel’s remnant to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, as He sings songs of praise and rejoicing to them in the night hours. Pray that more workers will go into the harvest that is the land of Israel by serving and supporting Israel’s remnant.

I did not know there was a remnant. There are about 180,000 Christians there. Joel Rosenberg, author has said its difficult for those who have chosen to live there.
I place a blood line around the people we and country.
Let even Biden and his billion dollar deck that I s n9 we driftwood come before the Throne of Grace in repentance.
Some say it’s like 1938 again. If so, recall it was those on their knees before the Father that turned the tide od evil back in defeat
Father, I pray you would minister to your remnant with peace and strength. May they not lose heart but hold onto you. May they sow in the Spirit so they can renew their minds in you. May they hear the songs you are singing to them and not lose heart.
