Pray specifically that California would NOT enact a law prohibiting biblically sound counseling for minors with gender confusion. A pro-LGBTQ bill is quickly making its way through the California state assembly after it was approved on the floor Thursday. The bill now goes to the state Senate for a vote.
If passed, Assembly Bill 2943 could ultimately threaten free speech and freedom of religion for Christians.
It uses the state’s consumer fraud statute to restrict religious freedom and free speech when it comes to issues of homosexuality and gender identity.
This means the bill would make it illegal to distribute resources, sell books, offer counseling services, or direct someone to a biblically based model for getting help with gender confusion and homosexuality.
If AB 2943 clears California’s Senate and is signed into law, it would negatively impact Christian counselors, bookstores, church conferences, as well as medical and health professionals.
The bill also seeks to ban biblically based counseling for those wanting to get help.
It comes six years after California deemed it illegal for minors to receive counseling for same-sex attraction, even if they and their parents wanted help. Now, this bill would also address adults. . . .
“AB 2943 would start by saying, ok, nobody can get counseling to overcome same-sex desires… ok, so no help for adult children, adults who were molested as kids and now they are adults and they say I want help to overcome these feelings. No help for you,” Thomasson explained.
Conversion Therapy Ban – Expanded: These are bills that are seeking to prohibit licensed mental health practitioners, and pastors or religious leaders, from counseling minors struggling with sexual orientation or gender identity according to Biblical truths.

Father I pray your Spirit would pour forth and Holy Spirit conviction would touch each official that comes into contact with this bill. I pray you would give each elected official the courage and wisdom to reject this.
I am in agreement with my brothers and sisters and pray for a boldness and courage for Christians in all the states to stand up and protest, stand up in prayer and unity to come together and be salt and light. We bind the enemy and plead the blood of Jesus over this situation.
Your will be done, Father on earth as in heaven.
Thank You Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for hearing these prayers. We join together as the body of Christ. Your Word tells us we are stronger when we stand together in agreement. The Word says “Five men will chase a hundred and a hundred chase ten thousand and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.” Lev 26:7 Your Word also tells us the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Father, we know Your word tells us men are not to lay with men & women are not to have sexual relations with women. Father, this law goes against Your Word. We pray the LIGHT of the WORD will chase the darkness away. Amen
I plead The Blood of Jesus over every inch of these properties where these meetings will be held. I pray in the name of Jesus for a canopy of Holy Ghost fire and protection, over properties, people, roads coming and going. Bless these days Lord with your precious trueth, with your love for these precious people, so misled by the one that hates You. Thank you for the one standing in the gap to tell the trueth. Bless our precious Brother, and all workers,with more strength, wisdom, and love. And send your biggest angels Lord to surround these meetings. For the souls of men women and children Jesus, please have mercy. In the Mighty Name above all names, Jesus Christ Amen

Father I thank that the LGBTQ legislation will fall through and fall apart. I curse the work that is adverse to the kingdom of God and its principles. I thank you Father that you will bring personal conviction in the way only you can to those proposing this legislation, promoting it, advising promotion for it and banking it in any shape, form or fashion, in the name of Jesus. We loose confusion into the camp of those who are trying to start and push forward these policies. We curse the work of the enemy in the mental state and livelihood of those aiding and influencing this work, in the Name of Jesus. I thank you for hard conviction on those that are born again Christians that are confused about whether they should align themselves with this or not. We break the power of the enemy over their minds. We loose the fruit of the spirit over them, right now in the name of Jesus. Father, expose and shine the light on the determent of these laws on children and society as a whole, in Jesus’ Name. Put your light on the true agenda behind this push, in the name of Jesus. I seal this pray by the power of the Holy Ghost and the blood of Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus over judges that would try to support this agenda. Give those attorneys standing against this proposed law and cases similar, divine wisdom, discernment, tactical and strategic connections and alliance to be able to dismantle the bill/actions before it hits the final floor.
Thank you Father for your grace. We claim those lives for Christ who want put these ideals into laws and society, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
This is another example of ‘framing mischief by a law’ -Psalm 94:20 Christian rights and speech are being censored and violate the 1st Ammendment of our Constitution! I pray that Christian law firms would take this to court to defeat this effort! In Jesus’ Name!
