The Shadow Cabinet is a concept started by sore losers. If Harris had won and the Republicans wanted to do this, we would have been attacked by the media and democrats. Trump won by an historical landslide and the democrats are very angry and willing to do anything possible to cancel his agenda of bringing down the “deep state.” It’s not like Trump barely won, and the democrats want to make sure a huge percentage of the country is represented. The democrats are being inspired and led by Satan and his evil minions.
Whatever it’s called, when they are in the minority, Republicans have done the same exact thing to obstruct legislation pushed by Democratic presidents. It’s nothing new, but it’s sure funny to hear Republicans scream “foul” when Democrats do the same thing as them. Donald Trump’s win was not a “historical landslide” by any definition, nor is it close to “an overwhelming mandate.” The current popular vote count is:

As for your misguided belief that God is a card-carrying Republican who wants you to wage a spiritual war against the “Godless Democrats” in order to create His Kingdom here on earth, you have been misled. The proof is that Trump’s hateful and vitriolic rhetoric regarding immigrants has caused an awful lot of Christians to support a political position on immigration which is directly opposed to the teachings of Jesus. And at the same time, you support the most morally bankrupt person ever to run for the office. He is a convicted felon, he betrayed his oath to the Constitution by trying to remain in office after he lost an election.amd.rhe lost goes on and on. It works in a parliamentary system like the UK or Canada have because the actual parliamentary cabinet are members of the legislature but in the U.S. the President’s cabinet, they are not members of the legislature & are appointed by the President. So a shadow cabinet in the U.S. would only be smoke & mirrors & not have full access to all the information they need to make the actual decisions as the President’s cabinet would have. In essence a mealiness waste of energy & time to have a shadow cabinet.
We separated from Great Britain for a reason. We should not adopt derisive British processes for the United States. That will only serve to create even more division between the parties.

I think members of Congress should commit themselves to exercising their responsibilities as part of the legislative branch of government and allow the executive branch to exercise its separate responsibilities by supporting the cabinet secretaries whose nomination they confirmed. To be honest, the first thing that came to my mind when I read this article was a sarcastic comment, but very apropos. There are some democrats that need to go back to Kindergarten – and to be honest, probably some republicans, too! As a retired K-teacher, the poem/book cited above is – no surprise – one of my favorites. How nice it would be Lord, if the basic tenets taught in K, and often based on Your Golden Rule, would be the foundation for the behavior of our government officials. Such things as: play fair, take turns, get along with others, clean up your own mess, don’t take what doesn’t belong to you – ie. treat others like you would want to be treated – should be the norm! Instead the behavior we see from many, but not all, is basically selfish, uncivil, irresponsible, childish – toddler behavior that hopefully is dealt with before moving on to first grade.
I don’t mean to minimize the seriousness of this situation. Lord, the fact is we aren’t just dealing with immature behavior, we are in a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation. Nations are not saved or lost, in the same sense as individual people are saved or lost. But the soul of our nation is expressed in our founding documents – what made or created our republic – and those ideals are in danger. Demonically inspired policies and ideologies are attempting to alter the USA’s very identity. Lord, we don’t want shadow cabinets, nor a deep state any longer. Shine Your light on them. Expose evil intent. Drain their coffers. Bring confusion into the camp of enemy that they can no longer cooperate to do evil. Our Constitution provides for three branches of government: executive, judicial and legislative. There is no provision for a shadow government or shadow cabinet. This idea is completely unconstitutional and should be vigorously opposed.

Historical precedent is that a President’s nominees are confirmed unless withdrawn before the regular vote. Only 3 times in the last 100 years has a nominee who makes it to the floor vote not been confirmed. If a majority Republican Senate cannot get President-elect Donald Trump’s nominees confirmed, we have bigger problems than a Democrat shadow government. It would be a Democrat/RINO shadow government.

Democrats need to accept the loss and not complicate a presidency that is not theirs to serve in. President Trump has an amazing plan in place and it does not include a “Shadow Cabinet”. We did not vote Democrats into any office and it would be a huge mistake if this type of shadowing was accepted. It’s time for them to step aside and let what the people voted for, to take place.
Dear Lord, I pray that you would help expose this illegitimate fourth branch of government, and give Your wisdom and guidance to President Trump and his team so that they would dismantle and disable its disruptive ways. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
I’m sorry but praying for Democrats to act nice and work with the Republicans is like expecting the leopard to change his spots. They think that “working with Republicans” means that Republicans do what they want. The purpose of this powerless shadow cabinet is to obstruct the good the incoming government is planning. I’ll pray instead that the Republicans are aware of the wiles of the devil and act with wisdom.

Our U S Constitution doesn’t allow for this. We are a Republic and not a Parliament government.
It could be seen as an act of war against the United States of America.
If it was tried, then those attempting it should be removed from office.
Article 1, Section 5 is the basis for being able to remove members of Congress.
While this would be a lengthy process, it would inflict a significant amount of burden on those members who would try this.
Those states who have the ability to recall their members could exercise this and vote out the member of Congress.

It’s evil to the 10th & beyond to say the lease. It’s really nothing new! The deep state/administrative state is the core reason for wide spread election corruption & we must not let it prevail. Part of DJT’s agenda is to absolutely not allow this to happen & hopefully it won’t with The Lord’s help.
