This article references the specific experience of Manning Johnson, but this exposure, its methods and fruit are not limited to one community.

The root structure of Woke and Anti-Israel churches are deeply seeded into America.  These structures have been allowed to flourish, having benefited from unfettered access inside of many religious structures of what once a Christian nation.  This is not condemnation. This is exposure and judgment, because the hour has come for us to, “…save others by snatching them out of the fire,” according to Jude 23.  This is a call to take up spiritual arms against the root structures and trees bearing bitter, hateful God-less fruit.

Indeed, I had entered the red conspiracy in the vain belief that it was the way to a new, better, and superior world system of society.  Ten years later, thoroughly disillusioned I abandoned communism. The experiences of those years in outer darkness are like a horrible nightmare.  I saw communism in all its naked cruelty, ruthlessness, and utter contempt of Christian attributes and passions. And, too, I saw the low value placed upon human life, the total lack of respect for the dignity of man, the betrayal of trust, the terror of the Secret Police, and the bloody hand of the assassin, during and since those fateful years when I embraced communism. Despite having been raised in a Christian home, Manning Johnson’s commitment to the Red Cause made him a darling of the Communist Party. This is relevant and illustrative for our call to spiritual arms because Mr. Johnson was first introduced to the ideology of the Communist Manifesto under the tutelage of his family’s Episcopal Bishop, “a Negro graduate of the Lenin Institute in Moscow.”  As a self-described idealist, Manning was a prime target for his Bishop’s message of equity and socialist propaganda promises to lift every man, woman, and child out of poverty and pain.

Regarding the first half of the 20^th century in America, Mr. Johnson reflects, “A large number of Negro ministers are all in for the Communists.”  In his first-hand observation he opined, “They in common believe that beating the racial drums is a short-cut to prominence, money and the realization of personal ambitions even if the Negro masses are left prostrate and bleeding – expendables in the mad grab for power.”  Simply put, he exposes the religion of race-baiting, victim mentality, and entitlement seduction as emanating from Black churches targeted by the Communist Party as tools to “deliver the Negro into the hands of Communists.”  Why was Black America integral to the Communist mission to destroy America from within? Mr. Johnson expresses the communist method this way.  “…[I]n the Red Conspiracy, just and seeming grievances are exploited to transform idealism into a cold and ruthless weapon against the Capitalist system…”

Similar to Mr. Johnson’s experience, today we are witnessing idealistic youths and young adults of every ilk, who have been targeted, indoctrinated, and radicalized as the Anti-Christ’s religious, political, and cultural pawns.  Also like Mr. Johnson’s experience, many are being fed and nurtured in American churches or by self-proclaimed “Reverends.”  Some have “just and seeming grievances…,” as was the certainly the case in early 20^th century America.  However, all are under the spell of ones adept with exploiting perceived grievances, by transforming them into beliefs and actions rooted in hatred toward the biblical worldview, disdain for GOD and GOD’s people.  As has been witnessed in the aftermath of Hamas’ barbaric massacre of innocent civilians, they have been taught that “mass pressure could force concessions,” but to eradicate the perceived injustices of the targets of their rage justifies destruction through varied methods of intimidation, imprisonment, and if the opportunity presents itself, through kidnapping, maiming, rape, murder and genocide.  As some of their loyalists have repeated, takeover by any means necessary.

What can, what must we do?

First, the Body, particularly watchman intercessors must address these root structures. We have faithfully addressed the fruit, but those temporarily pruned branches have only proliferated. I encourage you to read Manny Johnson’s pamphlet, “Color, Communism and Common Sense,” because it exposes much to guide us as we take up spiritual arms.  Then pray and seek the LORD for strategy.

Second, we must be ones who faithfully live this truth, “for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but have divine power to destroy stronghold” (1 Corinthians 10:4).

Not unlike the parable of the prodigal son, because the living WORD was sown into him, Mr. Johnson came to himself, and what was intended to destroy him was used to produce an invaluable tool for our generation.  Color, Communism and Common Sense exposes satanic tactics that have been repurposed and repackaged by every faction of radical left, anti-God and anti-American ideologues.
