On Wednesday, Sean Davis, co-founder of the Federalist, reported that CIA Director Gina Haspel is “personally blocking declassification of explosive Russiagate docs.”

Appearing on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Davis said that during the 2016 election, Haspel was the CIA station chief in London under former CIA director John Brennan. Davis added that Haspel was the “main link” between Washington and London, where Christopher Steele was “doing all this work.”

Carlson then asked the obvious question of why these documents are allowed to be held up and why no one declassifies them, to which Davis responded that “so many of the people blocking these documents are likely implicated by them. You have these career bureaucrats whose careers may be destroyed by the facts within them. I think at this point, we need the president, Donald Trump, to step in and say, ‘No more obstruction. No more blocking.’ We need transparency and the American people need to hear the truth.” . . .
