I received an email this week from a seminary encouraging me to join their Reproductive Justice Movement. They weren’t encouraging me to follow Jesus. To pray. To seek God. Each of their emails has encouraged me to follow after “social justice” narratives rather than biblical narratives. They have completely abandoned their original purpose for a “woke” agenda. And they are not alone.

Exactly what is “reproductive justice?”

According to “The Public Health Post,” It is centered around the “legal right to access reproductive health care services like abortion and birth control.” They believe the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade represented “a watershed moment” that cemented a woman’s right to choose whether to have an abortion or not.

Biden’s administration has certainly wasted no time in advancing a liberal, no restrictions, pro-death agenda against unborn children by increasing funding, access to, and availability of abortion. They believe this is “reproductive justice.”

Pelosi is now pressing to “codify” the law,  which means to pass federal laws that would have the same effect as Roe v. Wade, so that even if it was overturned, abortion would still be legal and available. They want to ensure that abortion services would be free from “medically unnecessary restrictions” that “interfere” with a patient’s individual choice or the provider-patient relationship.

Obviously the “patient” is not the baby.

The pro-choice movement often uses the slogan, “My body, my choice.” Based on that statement/logic, they can do whatever they want with THEIR body. But then the baby should also have “my body/my choice” rights. And no doubt their choice would be to live. That is why in a suction abortion, medical professionals have stated it appears the baby is doing everything in its power, in the small confines of the womb, to escape the deadly suction which will end its life.

As with many Left-leaning strategies, reproductive justice is strategically named to create the image of a righteous cause to mask the true agenda. Yet no matter how you try to reframe it, abortion is evil. This is what is now termed “reproductive justice.”

The definition of “justice” is: the quality of being just, impartial, or fair, the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action, righteousness.”

Let’s go a step further, the word “righteousness” is defined as: acting in accord with divine or moral law: free from guilt or sin, morally right or justifiable.

It is rather easy to see that “reproductive justice” is not based on a righteous or moral law. Abortion doesn’t free from guilt, it creates guilt. Most women who have had abortions will tell you that guilt is something that haunts them. According to psychologist Trudy Johnson, who writes from a pro-choice perspective, “The majority of the women I’ve worked with have never told a single person about their abortion. This oftentimes even includes the father of the baby, which can sometimes actually be the husband. It has been my experience in my private practice that it takes at least nine hours of therapy before a woman will admit a past abortion. The average time frame I see for women finally being able to process the emotions and grief around their choice is at least fifteen years after the fact.”

As the Biden administration pushes to make abortion free and easily accessible, let us remember there are two victims in the scenario; obviously, the baby whose life is abruptly ended, but also the mother who is encouraged to kill her child by those who care nothing about the true physical or emotional health of either “patient.” After the deed is done, the women are left to struggle with the horror and reality of what cannot be undone.

May the “woke” recognize that there is no justice in “reproductive justice,” only death and emotional fallout for years to come.

Lord, lift the deception of this “reproductive justice movement” so the truth of what they actually stand for will be revealed clearly. We pray for those involved who fight for the right to kill a child and believe their cause is just. Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do. Lord, we pray that the legality of abortion will be reversed. But more than that we pray that You would bring revival for sin to be recognized for what it is.

We pray for mothers, that they would again have a mother’s heart and for fathers that they would have father’s heart. For if that is true, they would never seek to kill their children, but would seek to protect them. You said You would turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers. May that day come.

Lord, deception, pride, and selfishness continue to cover our land. Remove this blight and forgive us. We ask You to remove from power those who try to inflict these laws upon us. Lord, we pray for a miracle.
