This sad new development in the horrible evil of school shootings involves a female shooter and a Christian school.
Excerpt from Fox News. First responders in Tennessee are on the scene of a school shooting at a Nashville elementary school.
Three students and three adults were killed in the attack, according to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Police say officers engaged with and killed the shooter, identified as a 28-year-old female carrying two “assault-type rifles” and a handgun.

The female, who has yet to be identified, killed three students and three adults before being killed by police just before 10:30 a.m. local time.
Officials at the medical center say three young students were transported to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead after arrival. Three more adults were also pronounced dead following the attack. All three were staff at the school. …
Covenant School is a private Christian institution for students up to 6th grade, according to its website.

Yes, Lord, protect our children, our schools, our government officials and those who stand for righteousness. For the trans group declaring a day of vengeance on April 1, we ask for angelic armies to protect each and every targeted individual or institution with your angelic armies. Protect our Supreme Court Justices especially Judge Cavenaugh. Make the enemies way slippery and dark. Send confusion into their camp and let them fight themselves. Remove the foundations of evil set up to destroy our children, our families, and our country. Let your people arise and be salt and light in our nation. May we fear you more than what others think of us. Establish righteousness and justice for all. May your justice roll down like a mighty river. We pray for all those who have been deceived by the enemy as to who they are, and guide and nurture them to who you have made them to be. We pray that we, your people who are called by your name,, would welcome the LGBTQ into our churches and into our homes to show them the love of Jesus. Make us wise as serpents but gentle as doves. Help us to separate the people from the demonic forces that influence them. Part your love on this group and take back your rainbow. May the rainbow flag be a covenant sign that your banner over them is love. Teach us to minister the love of Jesus to those we encounter. Deliver them from the evil one and set the captives free. Fuel the fires of revival. May we humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways. Heal our land. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings to deep for words. Our God, that is our heart’s cry as well: Deliver us from such cries of distress — in our streets, in our schools, in our nation.
Please forgive us for our many sins, including our failures to hear You, to obey You, to seek You, to cleave to You. Stay with us. Restore us to life and peace. Bring us through this dark valley.
Abba Father, we cry out for your mercy and grace. Hold these precious families who are suffering such great loss close to you. We pray for every student, family, and staff of Covenant Christian School. Pour out your Spirit, mercy and grace on each one. Comfort them, LORD, hold them, and encourage them in the midst of their horrible losses. You came to heal the broken hearted, Lord, bring healing, bring a recompense, bring the balm of Gilead. Breathe your breath into each one.. Minister to each man, woman, and child suffering trauma as only You can do. Take away the fear. Hover over these children and all the children of the world. Protect them, Lord. Restore their souls. Touch each one with your nail scarred hand, Lord Jesus. Breathe your breath into them. Fill each one with your Holy Spirit. Renew their strength. Let them know you are near. Walk with them each and every moment of each and every day of their lives. As we approach Easter, give them hope of the resurrection and a grand reunion. Keep their eyes on You, Lord. Have mercy.
For the Pastor, give him a word in due season. Comfort him and his family. As the world watches, bring glory to your name. Give all watching a glimpse of your glory and the hope and strong assurance of eternal life. Usher in your presence. Release the spirit of adoption on those who are lost. Encourage the families that everything they will miss out in this world with their loved one will be restored in Christ Jesus a hundred fold when they enter into your heavenly realm. Meanwhile, Lord, have mercy and pour out your grace from your endless supply. Holy Spirit hover over each one and keep them under the shadow of your wings.
For this generation who have been duped by the evil one as to who they are, open the eyes of their understanding and give them an identity in you as a son or daughter. Draw them to you. Deliver them from the evil one. Send forth your truth and set all those confused with who you have created them to be freedom Release the spirit of adoption upon them. Topple the enemies wicked agenda.
You are God and we worship you. We cry out to you. Have mercy, Abba, have mercy on all affiliated with Covenant Christian. Have mercy on us, your people. Have mercy on America. Have mercy on those who are without you. We keep our eyes on You. In Jesus name, Amen.
Lord, have mercy on the children. Deliver them from evil. Save them. Speak to them. Hover over them. Draw them to Yourself. Comfort families who experienced losing a child or a loved one. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
I respectfully disagree with your gun control argument and remind you that when gun control happens, people who want to commit atrocities with guns will always get their hands on them and law abiding citizens who want to stop them from doing harm will be left with no way to defend themselves or others. If staff had access to a gun yesterday they might have been able to defend the ones who were killed because the police needed time to get to the school. The shooter knew the school was a soft target with no way to defend itself and had no reason to fear she would be stopped quickly. Instead we need to look at the real issue of mental illness with the transgender movement and the indoctrination of it in our culture. The movement wants to normalize this behavior in people while ignoring the void in their lives that can only be filled by Christ. Lord help us all to face and stand up to the evil in this world!

Dear Lord, Alpha and Omega, who knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. You said what the enemy means for evil, you intend good… So we express our faith to you regarding this evil that has happened in Tennessee at a Christian school this morning. Lord, please turn it for good. Nothing is impossible with you, so we express our faith to you, trusting you, that you will bring this promise to pass in this horrific situation.

Dear God, our hearts are burdened for those who have lost loved ones today at this Christian school. We ask that you would be their comforter and surround them in peace during this difficult time. We pray for your goodness and mercy over their lives. Amen
I work in a school district. We have had a few threats of violence towards the school personnel and students. By the grace of God this was stopped from developing into something worse due to the fact witnesses knowing about this incident to happen came forward, which in turn the persons planning this attack were arrested. My prayer is for God to surround His angels around every school and that if anyone knows about a plan that some person wants to do evil like this that it will be reported beforehand and the perpetrators arrested. In Jesus’s Holy Name. Amen☦
