Mid Vermont Christian School is continuing its fight to keep its female athletes from having to compete against males. Let’s pray for them!
From CBN. A Vermont Christian school is forging a continued legal battle after being kicked out of a state-sponsored athletic league — a move that purportedly puts its students at a profound disadvantage.

Mid Vermont Christian School, a K-12 institution in Quechee, Vermont, found itself in the headlines last year, after its girls’ basketball team declined to play against a team that included a biological male.
“The Mid Vermont Christian Girls Basketball team qualified for their state-sponsored sports league playoff tournament,” Ryan Tucker, an attorney at Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), told CBN News. “And when they were looking at the seedings, they knew that the team that they were paired up against had a biological male who was professing to be female.”
School officials reportedly reached out in advance to the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA), the body overseeing athletics in the state, to express safety and religious concerns surrounding competing against a biological male. …
But the VPA reportedly didn’t provide another option for Mid Vermont Christian School, leading officials to forfeit the Feb. 21, 2023, game. …
According to ABC News, the VPA’s executive council felt the school violated policies surrounding gender, race, and disability awareness and could, thus, no longer take part. …
Tucker’s interview with CBN News comes as Mid Vermont Christian School is appealing. That appeal follows U.S. District Court Judge Geoffrey Crawford denying a request from the school, students, and parents that they be readmitted to the VPA.
Crawford felt the state likely wasn’t in violation of Mid Vermont Christian School’s First Amendment rights, considering its policies surrounding these issues are the same for every academic institution that participates, ABC News reported.
ADF’s brief last week with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, though, challenged “Vermont officials for expelling the Christian school and its students from participating in the state’s athletics association because of their religious beliefs.” …

I Am praying for wisdom and officials on the state level and local level level to use htheir common sense in making these decisions and back physical, ie the gender which the athlete was born with, ao the playing field is safe and fair.

God please continue to expose those people in authority, lawyers, and judges who are supporting this satan agenda. Please guides us in changing their ways and if they won’t listen to You then help us remove them from their position so they may repent. Trust in God.

Lord protect the school and all other Christian schools who protect their female athletes. It’s clear that this advisory board violated these young female athletes right to safety. We pray for extreme preparation and winsomeness of their legal case so that these girls could go on to be become great athletes as they enter college or play elsewhere. Young women everywhere Should have the right to be protected. Let them not lose their fighting spirit, and let them win!

Lord, Your Word is a fire and a hammer according to Jer 23:29. Let Your fire fall on all those who uphold these dangerous sports situations, on all level of academic sports to burn out the deception and establish repentance and truth. May Your hammer crush that mentality wherever it arises across this nation, until it is no more.
Lord TY for using Mid VT Christian School as a/sharp arrow going against the stream of darkness for all to see. TY that they lack no good thing but have gained the MORE and they continue forward. May Your favor be upon each one and that school for standing out in Your Name. TY that You’re a God of recompense for them for success & good. Bless this school, it’s community and let them continue to be a mark of Biblical values over this nation, that only spreads.
In New Testament times the games were popular. St Paul uses many analogies of ‘running the race’ as a metaphor for the life of discipleship. Now there was one practice of biblical days, and the Greek and Roman games, that may help us in our dilemma. A practice that the Olympics have seen fit to ignore – the athletes competed naked.
Dearest Heavenly Father: You see the battles we are facing as we stand up against the demonic forces in this world. We know this is a spiritual battle and we ask for your help to defeat them. Let the rulings be fair and reflective of YOUR WILL.
