What kind of intelligence did the balloon gather? Let’s pray.

The Chinese spy balloon that flew across the U.S. was able to gather intelligence from several sensitive American military sites, despite the Biden administration’s efforts to block it from doing so, according to two current senior U.S. officials and one former senior administration official.

China was able to control the balloon so it could make multiple passes over some of the sites (at times flying figure-eight formations) and transmit the information it collected back to Beijing in real time, the three officials said. The intelligence China collected was mostly from electronic signals, which can be picked up from weapons systems or include communications from base personnel, rather than images, the officials said.
The three officials said China could have gathered much more intelligence from sensitive sites if not for the administration’s efforts to move around potential targets and obscure the balloon’s ability to pick up their electronic signals by stopping them from broadcasting or emitting signals.
The Defense Department directed NBC News to comments senior officials made in February that the balloon had “limited additive value” for intelligence collection by the Chinese government “over and above what [China] is likely able to collect through things like satellites in low earth orbit.” …
Montana Sen. Steve Daines, a Republican, said, “The administration’s explanation that the balloon had ‘limited additive value’ is little comfort to Montanans and the American people and weak spin on an issue the administration mishandled from start to finish.” …
China has said repeatedly that the balloon was an unmanned civilian airship that accidentally strayed off course, and that the U.S. overreacted by shooting it down. Officials have not said which company, department or organization the balloon belonged to, despite several requests for comment by NBC News.
After the balloon was shot down in February, Biden administration officials said it was capable of collecting signals intelligence.
The balloon had a self-destruct mechanism that could have been activated remotely by China, but the officials said it’s not clear if that didn’t happen because the mechanism malfunctioned or because China decided not to trigger it. …

Wake up AMERICA! This is a legitimate way to tell you that we are being continuously assessed! The PRC has been involved with disinformation plans, distribution of narcotics to harm US Citizens and Intelligence Collection, which is exactly what they are doing in Taiwan!
Yet, our leadership, both and political and military leadership are NOT taking this threat seriously. I will assure you we are not prepared for WW 3 but, are woke life will fold when asked to get on the front lines! I pray that our Lord will bless us again!

So we were told by China that this balloon was a civilian airship that “accidently strayed off course” and by our own administration, first that the balloon posed no threat, couldn’t collect data/info, then that the balloon had “limited additive value” in what it could collect and finally we were told that the balloon would have collected even more data but for the heroic efforts of the Biden administration to “obscure the balloon’s ability” to pick up even more info??? Do we consider these two sources credible in any way? The Chinese government lies to its own citizens (as their method of control) and lies to the world. (remember covid origins?) Our own current administration is so closely connected with this authoritarian government, we should all be concerned. They seem more interested in doing what benefits China rather than what benefits the USA. As far as trust and believability, remember our government tells us we can keep our doctor, bail outs will save our economy, we can spend our way out of inflation, there is no problem at our southern border, our cities are safer than ever, being energy dependent on our enemies is not a problem, electric cars will save the earth (no, but they will collapse the existing power grid because fossil fuel is needed to charge those batteries) the lockdowns would save us (caused way more harm/death than the virus) that the shot was a vaccine that would immunize us from the virus (we know that is false as the “vaccinated/boosted” continue to get and spread covid multiple times) and on and on – I can no longer believe anything our media tells us. So first saying this balloon was an accident, then that it couldn’t gain much info, then that our government actively worked to block the balloon from gaining our intelligence info – I don’t believe any of it! The balloon should have been shot down BEFORE it traveled across our country – as soon as it entered our air space. That would be normal. A country with borders and boundaries that puts its citizens first. (that worked astoundingly well for awhile and we have not yet recovered from all the losses resulting from that) Our government has assumed powers not theirs constitutionally while abdicating their responsibility to us to “provide for the common defense.” They have weakened and “wokened” our military, and we are no longer energy independent. We are being forbidden from using our own natural resources. How does our own government forbid us to grow our own food and use our own land to sustain ourselves, to mine, to drill, to produce privately whatever we have the ability to do? Something is not right here and this Chinese balloon incident is just another example that we need to fear our own government as much or more as our enemies. This is a sad state of affairs when we can’t trust our own government and actually need to fear them. Lord, You are the trustworthy One, the only One that does not disappoint. In You, “there is no shadow of turning.” ThankYou we can trust You to give us Your wisdom and guide us in Your ways. May Your truth about all things set us free, indeed! In You, is true freedom! Our government and our military are unprepared for the coming peril, threat, darkness, and wrath. Unprepared. Our citizens are unprepared too. The sword rattles and threatens. If the American people understood what actually threatens us, they would flee to You right now — they would tear open their hearts and weep between the porch and the altar. They would abandon the pursuit of pleasure, which is now of no value, and they would turn away from their bitter anger and hatred that are now shattering this nation into pieces. They would turn from their pride.
But these people have no sense. They do not understand as they ought to. And so we are imperiled.
I pray that the Church, at least, will understand and know what we now face.
LORD, please deal with our enemies. They hate us and are out to destroy us. Hear the prayers of Your people. Have mercy on our families — our children and grandchildren, our spouses, our parents, all our family members, and our neighbors, our coworkers — all of us.
LORD, You see. You know. You have heard. Rebuke our enemies, and rebuke the Enemy.
Forgive us. Help us. Save us.
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your love for us, and we thank Jesus for all He suffered for us through the beatings and death on the cross. You are Holy and worthy of all praise.
We come to You asking for deliverance from evil that is trying to take over the USA and the world. I pray any information that was gathered by this balloon would be destroyed and unable to be used to harm our nation. Jesus told us to pray “deliver us from evil” and we agree with Him in our prayers.
