Pray for wisdom and unity in immigration policy in this nation. Pray for the courts to rule wisely about sanctuary cities.
Wisdom and good judgment live together, for wisdom knows where to discover knowledge and understanding. (Pr 8:12)
“Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel sued the Trump administration on Monday, protesting its immigration clampdown. Last month, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the Justice Department would begin suppressing so-called sanctuary cities, revoking Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants from mayors who refuse to enforce immigration laws. Sessions said U.S. cities stand to lose millions unless they give federal immigration officials unlimited access to local jails and give them 48 hours notice before releasing undocumented immigrants. . . .
Emanuel and other liberal mayors claim automatically turning over illegal immigrants to federal officials discourages them from coming forward to report local crimes. This is the first legal challenge to the Justice Department’s plan to withhold Byrne grants from sanctuary cities”. (Excerpted from World News, reporting by Evan Wilt.)

I agree in unison with these prayers. Except the St Michael plea. There is but one mediator between God and man – the Lord Jesus Christ
Oh Spirit of Truth, reveal the reasons why leaders choose to protect those who break our laws, who are not only here illegally but commit felonies. Shed your LIGHT on the darkness that prevails in places like Chicago, and California where obeying the Law is becoming against the law. OH Sweet Jesus, we need Your salvation. May this mayor of Chicago turn from protecting felons to protecting the children in his city who are killing each other every weekend. Bind the enemy, the Father of Lies who wants to steal, kill and destroy innocents. Pour out the Power of the Blood of Jesus over Chicago, over the mayor and lawyers that they may see LIGHT in their darkness, turn from their wicked ways and seek You.
The reason a mayor wants his city to be a S. city is because he himself needs it to hide his own crimes and partners in crime.
We pray that the hidden works of darkness would be revealed and that justice will be wrought. We pray for a righteous leader will be raised up that the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of understanding and the fear of the Lord shall be upon them.
We pray that Gods will be done in Chicago as it is in Heaven.
Thank Father for your intervention in the affairs of man and that there will be much glory and praise and rejoicing heard in the dwelling of the righteous.

I pray that St. Michael and his warrior angels will do battle over Chicago and defeat the satanic influences that are governing that city. The crime, the murders, the drugs, all come from the evil one and must be destroyed.
I pray for God’s wisdom, mercy, and justice to be infused in the leaders and citizens of this city.
Only through pray, repentance, and humility will God be able to change wrong into right, and restore His kingdom in this location and all locations like it. I pray for peace and tranquility in Chicago.
In the name of Jesus, I claim bondage and hell for all evil spirits in the entire world.

Sanity only exist with Jesus, and to the degree you wander from Him, is the degree you will live in an insane way. Lord we see this truth, and it is clearly shown in Chicago, where humanism reigns along with the highest crime rate. We pray a break in the principalities over Chicago, a binding of those minions and a loosing of the people from the deception that has been brought to them who are in rebellion to You who are their God. We stand in the gap for this city till it comes to its senses, starting with its Mayor. We pray salvation for its people, that those who are threatened with violence would call out to you and know you hear oh Lord. We ask continued resolve and direction for AG Sessions, bless him Lord as he blesses us with his leadership, make the crooked roads straight before him and bless the works of his hands. Only you can clean up this mess, dear Lord, we look to you for the miracle. In Jesus name, Amen
