Founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, was murdered while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. These reports came as a shock. The Bible says we are to bear one another’s burdens and weep with those who weep. Our hearts are heavy for the Kirk and TPUSA family. Please continue to intercede for his family, ministry, and our nation. Turning Point USA has produced excellent fruit and has helped young people across America find hope by defending our freedoms and biblical values. We thank God for Charlie’s faithful service to the Lord.

‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord (Matthew 25:23)
- Pray for Erika Kirk, their children, their family, and their closest friends to be comforted by the Father.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4)
- Pray for the sweet Presence of the Holy Spirit to be with them now.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
- Pray for Turning Point USA to continue and carry out Charlie’s vision to reach and educate young adults across America with great boldness.
And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness (Acts 4:29).
- Pray that more with zeal and a heart like Charlie Kirk to rise.
And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you? Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” (2 Kings 9:10)
- Pray against a spirit of fear that will likely be on college campuses, especially amongst Christian students.
Release the shalom of God that crushes the authority of satan over campuses across America.
“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation] (Isaiah 26:3 AMP)
- Pray that this tragedy will bring college students together in love, prayer, and unity.
Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others] (Colossians 3:14 AMP).
- Pray for revival to spread across every college campus in America.
O LORD, I have heard the report of You; I stand in awe, O LORD, of Your deeds. Revive them in these years; make them known in these years. In Your wrath, remember mercy! (Habbukuk 3:2).
In the Bible, when God’s people were martyred, He responded. When Paul was hunting down Christians and when Stephen was martyred, the church grew exponentially, and the one hunting Christians, Saul, was converted and became a vessel for Christ.
- Pray that God’s will be done in America.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
From the assassination attempts on President Trump, the killing of United Healthcare CEO, the violent murder of a Ukrainian refugee on a subway, and recent school shootings in Colorado, Minnesota, violence against our law enforcement, and witches casting spells on our leaders;
We must not give way to fear; we must continue to stand in the gap for those in authority.
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered for everyone— for kings and all those in authority—so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
As we mourn what has happened to Charlie Kirk, many will celebrate this horrific assassination on social media, the same way they defended Luigi Mangioni and the attempts on President Trump. Mainstream media will no doubt release pieces questioning his character. These people are blind, lost, and need Jesus.
Intercessors pray in the opposite spirit of the world, because we are in the world, but not of it. Witches are cursing our leaders, but we will bless them. They want fear, but we continue to confidently approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need. Do not be baited into fighting online or with family members who disagree with us. We are not called to curse those who curse us or repay evil with evil.
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord (Romans 12:19).
As we go forward, continue to pray for our leaders at the national and state levels. Pray for ministries and leaders that are effectively reaching and transforming lives. Pray Psalm 91 over our leaders and the nation, speak His Word, and decree his promises of protection every day.
- Pray our leaders will be physically protected and delivered from all evil. Ask the Lord to bless his family and ministry.
If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home (Psalm 91:9-10).
- Pray for angelic intervention from all plots, plans, and spells.
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone (Psalm 91:11-12).
- Ask God to bless our leaders with deliverance and a long life.
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation (Psalm 91:14-16).
When darkness increases, it is not a time to shrink back in fear but to shine the light of Jesus Christ. We are the light of the world, and we are called to shine and glorify our Father. Arise and shine, church, and let the glory of the Lord rise upon you.
- Pray for the light of Jesus to shine across America as the name of Jesus is lifted and as believers unify.
In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it] (John 1:4-5.
There is so much hatred in this nation. Our only remedy for hatred is the love of Jesus.
- Pray that we, as the church, will be able to love one another and not let our hearts be tainted by bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, and fear.
You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart (1 Peter 1:22).
- Pray that the love of God will strengthen us.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).
- Continue to intercede for America, our nation’s leaders, revival, and justice.
One day, Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”
Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith? (Luke 18:1-8).

Death and violence have a way of turning villains into saints, of reducing cruelty to a side note. And so we are instructed to remember Charlie Kirk gently, to honor him as though he spent his life defending “discourse.”
Charlie Kirk was a fascist, a racist, a bigot against LGBTQ Americans, Muslims, and others.
Governor Gavin Newsom says, “The best way to honor Charlie’s memory is to continue his work. Engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse.”
Yes: we must honor him. For “Brutus was an honorable man.”
We must cast aside our divisions and empathize with one another, though Kirk once called empathy a “made-up, new age term.” And Brutus was an honorable man.
Kirk tweeted that “Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America” just two days ago. But of course it is the “violent left” that must tone down its rhetoric. For Brutus was an honorable man.
Prime Minister Netanyahu called Kirk “lion-hearted.” Yes, the same Kirk who said Jewish donors were the “number one funding mechanism” for open borders and “anti-white causes.” But Brutus was an honorable man.
He called Martin Luther King a “myth” and said the Civil Rights Act was a “mistake.” He called transgender identity a mental disease and demanded a nationwide ban on gender-affirming care. Yes — Brutus was an honorable man.
He suggested public executions as a way to bring crime down. Not only public, but televised. Not only televised, but watched by children as a sort of initiation. “What age should you start to see public executions?” he asked. For Brutus was an honorable man.
So yes, we must honor him. We must remember him gently. We must pretend he was a defender of discourse, a champion of free speech, a man of principle — merely one we disagreed with. After all — Brutus was an honorable man.

⭐⭐Faced with the great advances of the Kingdom of God and the leaders God is raising in America, the devil is desperate. His kingdom is disintegrating, and he is launching desperate attacks like yesterday’s cowardly attack on the young Christian leader, Charlie Kirk (age 31). For the enemy, losing control of the United States government was a tragedy, and now President Trump (a patriot and Christian) and his team are using every resource to bring justice and support the advancement of the forces of good. He has even placed Christian advisors and ministers in key positions. Honestly the news of Charlie shocked me. Then again not. I mean when you look at the assassination attempts on Donald Trump those who are involved with the shooting have not stopped. Reading the article and I agree the enemy is trying to send a message to stoke fear into Americans. I don’t want to go to far down the rabbit whole but it definitely seems like this country has been infiltrated and anyone who dares to rise up against “the powers that be” become targets. It sounds a bit far fetched but is it. Take Charlie for example all he did was speak bold truth and started a movement saving Gen Z College Students. He broke a hold that the evil one had on them and now Charlie is in Heaven and is a Martyr. All of the attacks on Donald Trump and assassination attempts on him. RFK or the Nixon Watergate scandal. For longest time I had thought it started with Barrack Obama but he’s a puppet just like the rest of them.
Anyway my point is this something that is not new. This world can be dark and evil for sure but something this generation or century needs is a backbone and we need discipline. Rather than giving into the distractions we do need to make more time for the Lord. We need to get rid of the unhealthy routines and we need to go back to church. We’ve got to break of the chains.

Thank you for posting this. I have a question for you. I’m thinking videos of Charlie Kirk were being edited to make him sound rude, insensitive, & offensive. I say this because someone I work with who is Christian, said she saw a video where he came across that way. I never saw that ever from Charlie Kirk. Do you think it is possible that these edited videos are sent to target specific nationalities? Hence stirring people up? I don’t put anything past the enemy to lie and manipulate to cause chaos & discord.
Yes, a flood of youtube videos are being released the past 6 months or so, targeting Christians. Many are deepfake, done by AI. Last night I came across a video of snow coming down on Sid Roth in his studio while he was talking. This video frame effect is most likely done by AI. We are in a spiritual battle and the dark side knows how to use technology for its weapons. We need to pray to God and ask Him for divine wisdom.
Help us to continue what is true and what is a lie of the enemy, Lord. Holy Spirit give us divine discernment.

Don’t watch the videos. Instead pray for the Kirk’s family, Christians to shine the light of Christ, boldness to share the gospel. The church needs to repent and wake up from her slumber to boldly make disciples and serve and share the message of the cross and resurrection, go and leave the 99 to find the one. Meg, I’ve seen lots of AI generated videos – some are easy to tell and some are not. I suggest you check with TPUSA to find out how to make sure they or a trusted podcaster have put a video out. Caution is always wise in this day, but if we just refuse to support all output, how does that effect the distribution of what is good and should be supported? This whole world of social media is full of land mines, in my opinion – but it is the world we live in. My husband is more savvy than I in the tech world, so I follow his lead.
There is another possibility, though – there are people who consider anyone: who disagrees with them; who disagrees with the “popular” narrative; who raises their voice; who in order to get a word in edgewise talks over or interrupts someone; who talks over or interrupts in order to get in any word at all; . . . to be rude, insensitive and offensive. I would say that what Yeshua said and did at times when he had discourse with religious leaders and/or in the temple when He drove out the moneychangers and merchants – would be considered heated narrative, if not rude, insensitive and offensive – to those who did not like what he said and did and refused to repent. So it is important to consider the lens through which people perceive what is rude, insensitive and offensive. My lens would be – is it true?

Actually, Kathy, I believe that our flesh desires vengeance – and the Lord is clear that vengeance belongs to HIM. However, a desire for justice is spiritual and righteous, not fleshly. YHVH is a God of justice – it is one of the foundations of His throne. Injustice should arouse in us righteous anger! Mercy triumphs over judgement, but it does not replace it.

In Matt 10:16 the bible tells us to be wise as serpents but harmless as doves, we as Christians must learn and be taught how to fish, my late husband use to tell me that you cannot bait to catch a marlin fish with a trout bait, where one fish only takes the bait with a sparkly object like a marlin deep strong powerful fish where as a trout mainly being a fresh water fish needs to be only bated with bread on the hook of the fishing line , so we as Christians must also remember what it takes to win one soul over who took the bait of being fished with a caring gentle conversation the other fish had to be baited over with patience, steadfastness, and much prayer,(marlin fish) for you who have never been fishing, but with much perseverance with the help of the Holy Spirit one can still catch this fish. We as Christians must put on the full Armour of Christ to learn how to fish for souls properly and when we learn how to do this you will be prepared to know which bait you need to use to win the lost for Christ, stay prepared and always ready like our dear beloved brother Mr.Charlie Kirk, may the Lord give strength and bring solace to his wife and children and his entire family, we all who profess Christ must know that there is a cost to following Him and He never promised that we would not die in the process for doing so but He did promise whoever lay down their life for His sake will gain eternal life which our brother knew and has duly received his CROWN in HEAVEN, TO GOD BE THE GLORY and thank you again Charlie for showing us what this really looks like, in Jesus mighty NAME.

There are moments when the sadness feels overwhelming, and we don’t know how to move forward. But, we do know that You see our pain and You are close to us in our sorrow. O Lord, hold Charlie Kirk’s wife and two young “babies” and comfort them with Your loving presence. Let them feel Your peace in the midst of their heartache and the quiet assurance that they are not walking this unfortunate path alone. Wipe away their tears and remind them of the hope we have in You. O Lord, You are our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in our trials and tribulations. Teach us how to carry the loss of Charlie Kirk without losing hope. Help us to release our pain into Your loving and caring hands, trusting that You are working even in the most difficult moments. When the grief feels too much to bear, fill us with the courage to face each day and the faith to keep moving forward. I am beyond Sad about this… that word doesn’t come close to my feelings. I do think Charlie was Assassinated not murdered.. I pray for his family..of course.. however I also pray that they would find the assassin and convict him and then execute him!!!

Charlie Kirk was not just an intellectual and political figure he was even more so a Prophet of God. His call was first to a relationship with Christ. To see his eyes light up when he spoke of Jesus to crowds of thousands of young people, some of whom had no prior relationship with Christ, was pure joy to me. He was an extraordinary example of a Godly man.
I’ve been praying for years that God would raise up men who would be fearless in declaring “Thus says the Lord”. Charlie was one of those men. He was taken way before his time it seems to me, but not before the mission God gave him had been accomplished.
O Lord, hear our prayer now to raise up hundreds–even thousands of young men and women to carry on Charlie’s message of your sovereignty over our country and your desire for a relationship with all your creation. Bless Erika and the kids, post an angel army around their home to defeat all the evil forces that want to harm and defeat them, and replace their grief with hope and assurance in your time. May they be strong and courageous in their testimony of your righteousness even in the face of evil. To Jesus’s glory! Amen.

My granddaughter asked me, “How can I feel such grief for someone I didn’t really know personally?” And I said, “I can’t explain it, because I didn’t know him personally either, but I will really miss him.” This young man had a profound impact on not just our nation, but others as well, I believe. He responded to the call of YHVH to make a difference in his generation – he had come to the Kingdom for such a time as this. We grieve with his family and friends and coworkers at TPUSA – may the God of all comfort wrap you in His loving arms and uphold you by the strength of His mighty right arm. May this “seed” bear great fruit, and result in a magnified voice for righteousness and justice in our nation.
Another quick thought – only what YHVH allows can come to pass in our lives. I remember myself as a child questioning why President Kennedy was shot, then MLK and Bobby Kennedy. We were living post WWll, in an age of prosperity and safety in most of the USA and we, especially as children, couldn’t imagine this type of violence and evil as a real thing! These violent tragedies were very shocking to all the nation. There was grief, anger, and mourning everywhere. Broken hearts 💔 for many.
Then there are our own personal losses when we cry out to God, Why? That
is The Question of the Ages! I sure have cried out! Why Lord, do bad things happen to good people? Why Stephen serving others in Acts? why Lincoln after leading during a horrendous War? He desired reconciliation and forgiveness between the States! Then young President Kennedy with little children. Why sickness, death, financial loss, and on and on. It makes no sense, Right?
I pray that you are drawn and comforted by God’s Word as Jesus said, in John 16:33, In the world you will have trouble-tribulation-trials but take ❤️- hope, I have overcome the world! He wants us to know above all that He will never leave us or forsake us! Hebrews 13:5!
I hope this gives you great opportunity to talk, comfort, and most of all pray with your children to help them understand that God wants to talk with them and He loves them! Every single person starts grappling with these questions at some point and it can be an opportunity for us to learn from God. He says ask of me. Jeremiah 33:3. And He will tell us great and secret things we hadn’t known.
Bible Stories and Scripture open up to us in new ways. Practically speaking, I’d limit what they watch. We raised four children and when different things happened, especially 9/11, we’d sometimes forget that it was too much as all eyes were glued to the screen.
So many of us forget, and it is very hard to imagine, especially in a day of materialism and almost instant gratification, that earth is a temporary dwelling place. Remind them as their young heart’s’ grieve that God dwells within those who love Him. God is Love and loves them. Jesus came to earth to save us so that we can look forward to a home where we will live in Joy and Peace forever with Him. That is what Charlie believed. He knew Jesus and knew that he had an eternal home.

Annette, your children don’t need a theological treatise. I believe they are just asking what we all ask at one point or another in our lives. Things like, “Can God be trusted?” (an unequivocal YES) “If God is good, why is there evil in this world?” (free will) “Am I safe?” (no safer place than in YHVH’s hands, no stay there in faith) “Is the Bible true?” (an unequivocal YES) “Where was God?” (right there) Just be honest, be present to comfort, and be an example of trusting faithfulness in the One who walks with us through the valley of the shadow of death. We won’t always understand. Your children don’t need clichés. I lost my brother who was only 11 months older than I, when I was about 6. Today is his birthday. I had so many questions, and many of my questions were never voiced because they didn’t feel welcomed. Many were answered incorrectly by well-meaning but empty clichés like “God needed some more little angels in heaven.” What I really needed to know was that I was not alone, and He was crying with me. Over the years, YHVH was faithful to reveal Himself to me and answer those questions that He could. It is in relationship with Him that we either receive the answers to our questions, or He becomes the answer. So lead them to HIM!

Our Heavenly Father. I have watched in horror this event unfold all day
and night. Charlie Kirk was a messenger from God and was chosen to bring
light and knowledge to the young students on Colleges Campuses. He was
a strong believer in Jesus and was not afraid to show it. He spoke truth and
always spoke in a sincere way.
His life was cut off too short at age 31 and he left behind his beautiful wife Erika
and his two beautiful children. He died while doing something he loved. He immediately went to Heaven and God said “Well done my good and faithful servant.” He was on a mission from God and worked tirelessly to bring his message to all the young students and debate with
them and let them see the big picture of things.
There is a special place in Heaven where Martyrs go and I know that God will
reward him. There is so much hatred out there towards conservative values and
Godly principles. People have forgotten how Our Country was founded on Judeo-Christian

It was an attack from the Evil One. We do not fight against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against Powers, against the Rulers of Darkness of this world, and the God of Peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. Rom 16:20. God has given us the Authority to Bind Satan and his demons here on earth, as Heaven binds it too. We have God’s authority to loosen Dark Powers as they are loosened in Heaven. And trample on serpents and scorpions and the evil one can’t hurt us. Luke 10:19
Based on these, I pray against the curses of witchcraft thrown on Kirk. In the name of Jesus, you are loosed by the authority of God. You are Losen here on earth as in Heaven. Heaven loosens you. I bind the Devil and his demons from doing more harm and away from Kirk’s family. Heaven binds you, Satan. I bind you! Lord God, not by might and not by power but by my Spirit says the Lord. Holy Spirit, make Satan flee. Lord God, I am the General, release your Warrior Angels! Warrior Angels go and fight, defeat, and win over those demons. Take back territory taken. And make them flee. Father God, I pray for Kirk’s family and friends. Help them bear this tragedy and comfort them, console their hearts. His children are traumatized. Heal them and hold them close to You, Lord. Help his wife in this time of uncertainty by showing her The Way. Bring them closer than ever and be with them.

I Never Went Away
( A few words for those loved ones whose hearts are suffering – hopefully sustaining )
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying. You found it hard to sleep.
I called to you so softly, as you brushed away a tear,
It’s me, I haven’t left you, I’m well, I’m fine and I’m here.
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the times your hands reached out to me.
I was with you at the shops today. Your arms were getting sore,
I longed to take your parcels ; I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today ; you tend it with such care,
I want to re-assure you, that I’m not just lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key,
I gently put my hands on yours, I smiled and said “It’s me.”
You looked so very tired and sad, and sank into a chair,
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there,
It’s possible for me to be so near to you each day,
To say to you with certainty, “I never went away.”

Father God, hearing this today was shocking and I felt disbelief. Lord, Charlie finished his journey, and You called him home. Not one of us knows when we will be called. As we all mourn, and bring Charlie’s wife, children, friend and family to Your throne of grace, may we also remember how quickly things can change and use this to spur us on to love and good deeds for Your glory. Oh please Lord God, as Charlie’s wife posted your word online a few hours before this horrific godless act was committed, I now ask You to make this so real, and comforting to her: Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”
Lord hear our prayer! For Charlie Kirk, Mrs. Kirk, their child and families for comfort and peace knowing Charlie did his best in the world. I’m heartbroken for them to have lost so much love and support in their lives. Gone too soon!
