President Trump’s decision to dismantle USAID has caused chaos in the State Department, splitting the department between those who are loyal to the President and those who are more hesitant to gut the agency.
From Daily Caller. Inside the State Department, a battle is brewing over how to implement President Donald Trumpās agenda to dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Who is praying on the wall?
Trump administration officials tell the Daily Caller the State Department is divided into two factions, between those primarily loyal to the president and those aligned with moderate Republican senators who are dovish onĀ USAID cuts. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been under pressure from his former Senate colleagues not to fully dismantle USAID and did not initially want to take on the task when requested by Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), multiple Trump administration officials told the Caller.
Cutting wasteful spending has been a main priority for Trump and DOGE, and early on, USAIDĀ was among the firstĀ agencies targeted. However, the process of doing so has apparently been contentious.
ā[Rubio] is getting calls all the time from his senators ā¦ when we would get a call from a senator or congressman, all of a sudden Mike Needham and Dan Holler are like, āoh my gosh, you better do this. You better get this member what they want,āā one Trump administration official told the Caller. …
One administration official added that many senators have a vested interest in keeping alive pet projects that are funded by USAID, hence the lobbying to Rubio. …
Those senators include some on the appropriations committee, who have heavily lobbied Rubio and his staff to reduce USAID cuts, with some effect, one administration official told the Caller. Republican senatorsĀ on the committee include Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, among others. …
Even after extensive reviews and plans to cut certain programs by staff, Rubio would sometimes swoop in afterwards to object to certain cuts after lobbying from the Senate, sources said. …

Pray With Me; ‘Father, we are incredibly blessed and humbled by the fact that You use us to -‘ accomplish Your purposes.” Father God we are forever amazed that You chose to create a family and make them to be used for their talents in YOUR KINGDOM coming to earth. There is a little-understood truth need not lead to imbalance. Being biblically balanced does not mean we do nothing that contradicts human understanding or reason. God there is so much chaos and uncertainty about the Constitution, parameters that the Bible teaches and is there prayer and Gods answer? Do we allow the Holy Spirit to do the leading of our next steps. Do we listen to the Holy Spirit or listen to the groups of Senators that are pushing pressure on Marco Rubio not to fully dismantle USAID. Elon Musk and his department for efficiency has submitted a serious plan to cut many items that does not require or fit in with the rules nor the constitution. Do they not understand we are Trillions of dollars in debt. God my question is to these rebuttals, is it not the thing to do listen to our President Trump. These suggestions of only cutting some items, but are these items necessary? My suggestion is using God’s Word as a suggestion releases the power of the Holy Spirit when we truly pray and listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit directions. Use the Word of God as a weapon. Lord Jesus, there has been mountains of exposure that many departments have been exposed to where the money has gone, not necessarily needed but to placate with promises and to soothe or appease them, by making concessions or conciliatory gestures. Most of the money has been sent to lost causes or no one seems to know exactly where it went. These kinds of jesters, has helped cause the incredible high debt, plus much more. Many of the team workers says they need a safe place to work without fear of surveillance. When I read these words it disturbed me, are they doing transposing this money to a questionable place or a questionable group or maybe should not be sent at all. Elon is a truthful, brilliant person with superior knowledge on how to handle money appropriately, why question Him if President Trump appointed him to help find the sources of fraud money spent. I, as a Christian that thank what is happening is the best way to find out why America is under Trillions of dollars in debt with nothing to show for it that is approximate for America. Father, we know the power which created America is in Your voice. We have obviously not walked in the strength of that revelation. Expose them just as You said You would – judge their actions. A decree; WE DECREE GOD’S WORD FROM PSALM 119-89″ FOREVER, O LORD, YOUR WORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN”
USID has revealed a culture of corruption of waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayers money with Billions of dollars. USID must be eliminate permanently, this is just common sense money managemnet.
Thank you that we have a strong president with a good plan. Lord, please protect and give guidance to the people trying to cut USAID. Bring unity to Trump’s leaders and help them do their job, unimpeded. Give strength to the leadership and staff. Please bless them as only You can. Bind the enemy as he tries to impede progress. We love You and are so thankful for Your presence in our land. We pray for revival in our country and around the world.
Meanwhile, according to a recent televised program, people and especially babies will literally begin to starve to death if US AID is not continued to some areas in the world.
We must remember that babies will starve or be killed regardless of USAID monies. Just because we give aid does not mean the people who need it, receive it. We in the U.S. tend to believe it will be used for purpose given. However, truth is that there is graft and corruption in these governments, and aid organizations where food and goods are held to highest bidder in locales, and those who are in true need never see it. It even rots in barns. So, let us kneel before the LORD our God, our Maker: LORD God, we humble ourselves and pray for Your wisdom and discernment in all things. May we each help those in need where we can. Use our nation for the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in thought, Word, and deed in Yeshuaās name, amen.
Where is the Church? Caring for the poor is a task that God gave to us, his people. Having worked among the poor in SE Asia, and some in the USA as well, it’s true that faith based organizations or even most private groups do this work for a small fraction of the cost that any government does it. Even more importantly, non-government organizations, especially the faith based, are far more careful to accurately evaluate the need distributing resources in a more equitable way to promote the true welfare of the needy, caring for their spirit as well as body, rather to anyone who thinks they should get a piece of the pie.
May God raise up workers for the harvest, motivate us to give lavishly knowing we can’t out give God and not let our lust for comfort kill the passion of the Holy Spirit within us!
Give Pres. Trump’s administration courage and boldness like Jehu and Jael to route out every last trace of corruption. We pray they will have no tolerance for wickedness. Cause them to realize they have been placed in these positions for such a time as this and overcome the spirit of fear like Esther did. Give them increased prayer support, angelic protection, and Divine solutions as they do Your work. Cause them to set their faces like a flint to accomplish Your purposes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Those senators trying to influence. Rubio are getting kickbacks thatās why they want certain programs kept. I donāt believe they care what the program is as long as they continue to get their kickbacks. The evil that our tax dollars have been supporting spent through this agency has to stop or we risk the wrath of God. Stand strong on the invite others and trust in God.

YHVH, You gave directives to Your people, the body of Christ. You gave directives to governments. They are distinct and not mutual. The body of Christ is spiritual in nature, but operates in the natural realm – and part of our mandate is to care for the poor and needy. Government is a natural entity, which may and should be influenced by believers but is not spiritual. It is not called to fulfill the mandate given to the body of Christ.
I pray that Your people would discern according to Your Word which is which, and not confuse the two.
Please strengthen Rubio to hear and respond to Your voice alone, and prioritize cutting USAID. The prominent voices of McConnell and Graham should inform him of the necessity to resist their pressure, and do the exact opposite of what they want.
Lord,
Have Your way at the State Department and USAID. Please put people in place who want to please You more than they want to please man.
Remove all those who are opposing Your perfect will.
Give those You have delegated authority to carry out Your plan without delay. Expose every wasteful dollar /budget allocated to the enemy’s plan and use those resources for Your perfect plan to be executed with precision, and in Your perfect timing.
Provide Resident Trump with great soldiers who are totally committed to his leadership.
Bless the DOGE Team and their efforts.
Ln Tell me one reason why we would want to keep USA ID. I think it should be gutted completely. I view it as complete theft of taxpayer dollars which happened to be mine!
President Trump is absolutely correct in the Abolition of USAID. It is a disgrace that some prominent Senators and Congressman cannot control their spending habits. The good of the Country depends on every Politician to play a dynamic role in reducing government waste, fraud and abuse of money we do not have. We cannot continue with budget deficits in any amount! Every state, every politician and departments must join the battle to reduce such wasteful spending. I am contacting my Senators and House Representatives to cut spending. Some departments will need eliminated. For example the U.S. Department of Education is not needed. It will hopefully be eliminated. Every state has a State Department of Education, every School District has a Board of Education, every School District has a Local Administration of Superintendents, Principals and Counselors to administer our local schools. Eliminate a department we do not need or want. A waste!
I totally believe in what President Trump is doing to get rid of government waste- it needed to be done years ago, in my opinion. Please give Director Rubio wisdom as he deals with members of Congress who are contacting him regarding the cutting of the USAID . Also, Lord, I pray that You give Pete Marocco guidance and wisdom as he is the new hatchet man in this endeavor. Lord Jesus, may Your will be accomplished in this situation, and ALL of the functions of DOGE. Thank You Jesus.

Some of our political criminals build their wealth through monies laundered through USAID. I pray for a complete overhaul and a new agency formed to fund credible projects.
I want to thank You Lord for exposing the USAID and for it being dismantled. We must keep a close watch on our leaders in every position down to the small towns because what they do effects other people in other communities.
I am a missionary in Belize and some of the countries money has been cut, but certain programs were reinstated quickly. One was a police training program and it was also taken out of the hands of the government, which is great. I would imagine this is hard for Rubio, he has long relationships with a lot of people on the hill. He needs our prayers for sure! They all do, satan is not happy.

Father in Heaven, I pray to give wisdom to those who are appointed to dismantle the USAID and to put in place the right things that will bring integrity to our Nation. Lord please expose the waste and corruption that is so prevalent within the state Department! Keep the programs that are truly vital to humanity. Expose the money laundering. Get the proper money to the areas needed that will help our Country to be great again. Lord let all nations know we do all things to glorify you not man.
Donāt you think the democrats have weaponized the USAID against out allies by allowing all these programs with DEI and CIA tactics to overthrow these countries by teaching there kids a LGBTQ life style? Ruth – whilst I can empathise with your comment, may I point out that EVERY $ effectively stolen through FRAUD or poor management is a $ taken from those who remain in dire need. There are surely more cases of dire need in this World than there are $ dollars available to help them.
Where a government employee “Feels” they cannot perform their appointed duties – which are NOT performed on a “Free” basis i.e. they are actually PAID to perform – then they should do the honourable thing and resign ( or simply be sacked !! ) Government “workers” at ALL levels have this same inflexible DUTY – no matter which Party or None, is in power !
