Chaos currently reigns in the Democratic Party as progressives consider redoing the election that brought David Hogg into power, citing concerns over Hogg’s efforts to oust party incumbents as DNC vice chair.

Leaked audio revealed DNC Chair Ken Martin venting his frustration with Hogg, who has come under fire from some within the party for his efforts to oust certain incumbents while serving as a DNC vice chair.

That conflict came to a head last month when Martin expressed frustration with Hogg during a Zoom call with DNC officers, audio of which was leaked and subsequently reported by Politico over the weekend.

“I’m just quite frustrated to be in this position, because what you’ve done, whether you like it or not or know it or not, David, is I’m trying to — no one knows who the h*** I am, right?” Martin said on the call, apparently addressing Hogg, according to audio published by the news outlet.

“I’m trying to get my sea legs underneath me and actually develop any amount of credibility so I can go out there and raise the money and do the job I need to, to put ourselves in a position to win,” he continued. “And again, I don’t think you intended this, but you essentially destroyed any chance I have to show the leadership that I need to, so it’s really frustrating.”

The Hill notes that “a number of” DNC officers have publicly expressed their support for Martin and criticized Hogg. Hogg, meanwhile, has sought to distance himself from this leaked audio, claiming it will only distract Democrats from their efforts to combat Republicans.

The controversy surrounding David Hogg is just one example of the chaos abounding in the Democratic Party. It seems the party never quite regained its footing following Kamala Harris’ disastrous defeat last year. Some notable Democrats have begun to drift to the right, while others have doubled down on the far-left rhetoric that many feel cost them the election in the first place.

For us intercessors, this chaos is an opportunity for prayer. This chaos presents an opportunity for the Democratic Party to reset and return to godly, biblical values. Let’s pray that the Lord bring order out of chaos and rescue this party from the radical, anti-Christian forces that have held it captive!
