A ceasefire intended to stabilize the Middle East is already showing signs of strain. The continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz is raising serious questions about whether the agreement is being honored.

Oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remains effectively halted despite a U.S.-backed ceasefire that hinged on reopening the critical waterway, raising fresh questions about whether Iran is following through on a central condition of the truce.
A backlog of roughly 3,200 vessels — among them 800 tankers and cargo ships — has built up west of the strait, with ships idling as operators wait for clarity on whether it is safe to pass.
No oil tankers have risked the journey in recent days, according to Matt Smith, an analyst at Kpler, a data and intelligence company.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most strategically important waterways in the world, with roughly 20% of the global oil supply passing through it under normal conditions. When that flow is disrupted, the effects are not isolated to the Middle East—they ripple across global markets, supply chains, and national economies. Iran’s closure of the Strait throughout this conflict has already raised gas prices around the world, with many American families feeling the pinch.
Iran claims, according to Fox, that it is keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed in response to Iran’s continued attacks on Hezbollah, which the Islamic regime claims violate the ceasefire agreement. The U.S. does not recognize Israel’s attacks as part of the ceasefire, although both President Trump and Vice President Vance have promised that the Jewish nation will scale down its attacks.
As tensions continue, U.S. and Iranian leaders are scheduled to meet this morning for peace talks in Pakistan. Let’s pray for wisdom and discernment for all leaders involved, as well as for real and lasting peace!

The current Iranian leadership has and will not negotiate in good faith. Just like the leadership that they replaced lying to the US is a blessing. As for Israel’s attacks on hezbollah remember that they are demonic possessed and I believe it is God’s will that they surrender to God’s mercy to save their souls or be cut down by God’s will. I pray that God guide all involved in these talks so that a peaceful solution would be reached. Iran can never have nuclear weapons and continue to support terrorists. 🙏😇🙏

PRAYER: Asking Lord to shine his Light, TRUTH, on all those involved on negotiations as to their motives if other than regional peace. Please also reveal the countries, companies and individuals greedily profiting from USA consumers upon restriction of non USA crude oil and natural gas exported to other nations. Please let the Executive Branch take advantage of the risk on vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz to correct world oil price being determined on total supply instead of oil supply available in the free market. Recall that Russian, Iran and some African & South America nations sell on the black market or at reduced bartered rates to gain benefits from purchasing nations. There is no practical way that hostage ME hydrocarbons will be replaced by USA production because of USA producer to refinery contracts, USA national security and logistics for delivery.
COMMENTS: Significantly immediately elevated prices on hydrocarbon products can not be justified since USA except the West Coast, refines hydrocarbon production from within and from non Middle East countries. And unfortunately the elevated oil price is helping finances of several Exporters who are enemies of USA.
Note: there is a factual error in reference to Israel’s battle with Terrorist in Lebanon. It reads as if Iran is the attacker instead of Israel.
One wonders “what will it take” for the Strait of Hormuz to remain open?
Lord Jesus, I pray for the Cease Fire negotiations in Pakistan today. I pray that, ultimately, Your will be done in the negotiating, and in how our military deals with the conflict moving forward from here. Thank you Jesus.

The issue of the day is oil. Oil is symbolic of Holy Spirit in scripture. The supposed oil crisis (there is plenty available) is driving up the cost of everything. The Lord’s people incur great consequences and costs by acting in their own strength and not by the Holy Spirit of life… “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” “It’s not by power, it’s not by might, it’s by my Spirit says the LORD Almighty.”
America has drifted from God, The church is not standing for righteousness and truth other than a small remnant of faithful. Our government on all levels is decaying with corruption. Families are broken or distracted by pursuing worldly wealth, power, and purposes instead of eternal, heavenly, and holy purposes which Holy Spirit can lead us into. The parable of the Ten Virgins is Christ’s warning to the end times ekklesia. Repentance is a change of mind that touches our hearts bringing revival and times of renewal and refreshing. The Lord is using signs? wonders, world events, and is “shaking everything that can be shaken”, so that what remains will be pure. “Without holiness no one can see God”. The cross provided the cleansing so that the Spirit can come in to bring life, endue with power, and lead us into all truth and the fullness of Christ. Fast and pray, ask, seek, and keep knocking on heaven’s door for filling of oil, Holy Spirit… Confess any known sin, unbelief, or fear. “Whatever is not of faith is sin.” “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Get what is most necessary for life, freedom, and wisdom as we will be facing the greatest challenges our world has ever experienced in these last days. Read God’s words of prophecy from Genesis to Revelation and understand by the filling of Holy Spirit the mind of God. Abba and Jesus are willing to give Holy Spirit to those who will humble themselves and seek Them above all else. Don’t be like the five unwise virgins who had no oil for their lamps. Be the light shining in gross darkness by “My Spirit says the LORD Almighty “.
