Fox News host Tucker Carlson lost some high-profile advertisers over comments he made earlier this week after he contended the current protests are “definitely not about black lives.”
The advertisers who have announced they are pulling ads from “Tucker Carlson Tonight” include ABC, whose parent company is Disney, T-Mobile and Papa John’s Pizza.
In a segment that aired on Monday, Carlson said, “No matter what they tell you, it has very little to do with black lives. If only it did.”
“If Democratic leaders cared about saving the lives of black people — and they should — they wouldn’t ignore the murder of thousands of black men in their cities every year.”
“They wouldn’t put abortion clinics in black neighborhoods,” Carlson said. “They would instead do their very best to improve the public schools and to encourage intact families.”
Carlson argued that Democratic leaders don’t even try to make these changes that would improve the lives of African-Americans.
“This may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through, but it is definitely not about black lives and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will,” he concluded.
“At a moment like this, there is no advantage in cowardice,” Carlson said. “Tell the truth. And the truth is this is a good country, better than any other. Of course, we are flawed, but we are trying, unlike most places, and we have nothing to be ashamed of.”
Disney confirmed to Deadline that it will not be placing ads on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” going forward, noting that a third-party buyer secured the spots in the first place.
T-Mobile tweeted that it had not run ads on Carlson’s show since early May, but has canceled future ads.
“We will continue to support those who stand against racial injustice,” the tweet read.
T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert also chimed in, tweeting, “Bye-bye, Tucker Carlson!”
The self-described anti-bigotry advocacy group Sleeping Giants responded to T-Mobile’s announcement, encouraging the company to pull all advertising from Fox News, given the network “continues to push this type of rhetoric.”
In a statement to Bloomberg, Papa John’s said it will no longer be advertising on any opinion-based programs like “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

I suppose, we should not expect anything different when a voice raises up against the evil that is considered good and the good considered evil. It was this way with Jesus and we will see this kind of persecution. However, we must speak truth even in the midst of what comes against us. Jesus said, those who seek truth listen to me. Mr Carlson is in good company and my prayer is that the Jehovah Jireh will make all provision necessary to stand in the public arena. Show us Your Glory Lord, that we may praise Your Holy Name.

I watched Tucker Carlson say these things and thought God is speaking truth through him and a few others in the media. As I was sitting on the sofa I felt a rush of emotion, the hatred of Satan and his demons for these truth speakers. I felt something like a huge bat or club raised against them, posed to swing and knock them off, wipe them out. I didn’t want to “own” these emotions and so immediately turned to God. I saw the huge bat, club like thing raised in the air posed to strike, but I watched as the prayers dissipated and dissolved it. It disintegrated and fell to nothingness.

Abba I pray for the breaking of the curse brought on by generational sin of the fathers against their children. Restore the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers. Raise up a blessing upon this generation of restoration to the Father heart of God! Amen
Tucker Carlson is right; he spoke the truth. Father, I pray that you open people’s eyes to discern the truth from the lie and that you reveal the hidden agendas and plans of satan and those who are carrying out his plans in the earth.

Lord, I pray you help Tucker Carlson have the same compassion when it comes to him reporting news for/about the KKK and other white hate groups. Praying for a true God encounter for Tucker Carlson. Praying for news outlets that are just, fair and righteous in their delivery of the news.
These companies and media/news outlets, Lord, are saying to consumers, “We decide what you should hear and what someone else says”. Stop them all (we bind up this spirit of control and manipulation ), Lord from using their power and money to destroy Freedom of Speech in America. I’m not on any social media platforms. I deactivate them all so I’m posing my question here. Does anyone know of a christian-based cell phone company that my family and I can take a look at. We currently have MetroPCS but T-Mobile merged with them. I don’t want to support this company if I can in any avoid dealing with them.

To put it bluntly it is an ideology straight from the pit of hell, and we must pray against it and its impact upon our nation, and that those that are blinded to the truth would come to know Jesus before it is too late. Thank you for speaking up so boldly. I, too, have been letting people know that the Black Lives Matter movement is NOT about black lives. Some have called me a traitor to my race, others have accused me of being racist because I won’t lend my support to the organization. I don’t judge any of them because I know they have been deceived. But it has made me much more hesitant to speak out. However, just as you stated I’m a Christian first, a black woman second, and as a Christian I believe it’s imperative for me to search out a matter, organization, or cause and then prayerfully decide whether to support it. There are myriad other ways to help the black community without supporting BLM, such as supporting black-owned businesses, working to improve access to quality education for black children, providing job training or business development programs for starters. I pray for God to open people’s eyes to see the truth and that he protect those who are speaking out so that their voices are not silenced. I pray the plans of the enemy to divide the nation and to divide the church will be confused and made of no effect. And I pray for all of those individuals who support and fund BLM and Antifa, as well as the members of these organizations, that they be saved and filled with your Holy Spirit.
