I Prayed have prayed
God, we pray for the children whose lives are being lost to violence. Let your justice reign Lord, so that the cycle of death may end. Dispel the lies of BLM and it's cohorts. Let the truth abound, so that unity against evil may prevail.

Over the last few years, violent crime has seen an uptick in America. Some of it is attributed to massive, unchecked immigration, but much of it has been domestically increasing for years. Among these violent crimes, one of the most affected demographics is African-Americans living in inner cities.

The Black Lives Matter organization (BLM) has resolutely blamed much of this violence on “over-policing” caused by violent law enforcement. Yet, less than one-percent of arrests end with the use of lethal force. According to Statista, more whites are shot to death than blacks in these situations. But BLM focuses on Black Americans killed by white perpetrators, not Blacks killed by Blacks, or the impact of gang violence on minority communities.

Another more alarming realization hasn’t been getting much attention.  A recent short documentary from PragerU details that children are falling victim to thousands of violent crimes in inner cities. In this video, former BLM activist Xaviaer DuRousseau details the consequences of de-criminalization and threatening to abolish law enforcement. He interviews parents whose young children were killed by gang violence. One of these parents, Happy Gregg, says, “When my son was murdered, I thought there would be outrage and that justice was gonna be swift. But I realized there’s no outrage; I’m gonna have to be that outrage.” She also said, “I realized a lot of children have been murdered, and I had no idea.”

Gregg’s story, and stories like hers are only footnotes in mainstream media compared to the media coverage about “racist cops.” The death of Gregg’s son MJ, who was only four, is a sobering example of what BLM’s damaging influence can inflict on inner-city communities.

The documentary also features insights from influential figures like Bishop E.W. Jackson of STAND and Rafael Mangual of the Manhattan Institute, who discuss the political and cultural shifts that have contributed to this crisis.  According to Jackson, an average of 10 children die every month from street violence, which the perpetrators call “collateral damage.”

Pop culture often neglects the real issues plaguing these communities. As we grapple with the consequences of violence, it is crucial to recognize that the current narrative often omits the voices of those directly affected by crime within the community.

How can Scripture help us pour the spirit of God into these issues? Wherever the spirit of God resides, evil cannot stay. Romans 12:21 tells us, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (ESV). In light of these tragedies, let us pray for those afflicted by violence.

  • Pray for victims and criminals.
  • Pray the plans of those who do evil will be abolished, and that they would be convicted and converted by the Holy Spirit.
  • Pray for the parents of lost children, that they would not be killed also by endless grief and that they would be comforted by the Father and by Christians (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
  • Pray for the cities and communities affected by these crimes, so that the hearts and minds of their leaders can be changed.
  • Pray for the children in these environments that their lives will not be cut short.

I thank you for reporting on this! I sometimes think that “black” people or people of color, as I say are so desensitized and dull in spirit in these matters. Truth is freedom!
I know BLM is not truthful.

Great article. Thank you T.K.
Based on the last 4 years of the Biden administration, the various type of criminal activities they allowed by design & the negative pressure it targeted to various communities & their police / legal departments, it comes as no surprise that many organizations such as BLM thrived in their divisive & destructive activities. The purposeful failure of the Biden admin. to legally designate BLM as a 50 state terrorist organization was a direct assault on communities & the Constitution. Their failure in refusing to tie Soros money to state A.G.’s & D.A.’s when they had proof was treasonous to the citizens of our nation.
By God’s mercy & righteous hand of justice, it will be overcome. Justice cannot be administered without a Christian response of mercy but be clear that a lack of proper justice will allow BLM to continue to thrive. This is a huge assignment intercessors that must be bathed in prayer, spiritual warfare & our physical involvement. Let us remember that there are BLM members who are completely lost with no moral compass – they have attached themselves to something to try & have some semblance of purpose & direction…while those leading BLM have hidden the organizations real purpose from them. Please be faithful to bring down the Jericho wall of deception that continues to drive it. Let us pray faithfully for their leadership, it’s ties & funding to be COMPLETELY exposed – because partial exposure does not work. Pray for the work of satan to be destroyed in BLM.
Our responsibility is to pray for God’s light to shine on all the hidden corridors.

This comment is not so much about this article, as it is to the 2,163 viewers of which 542 prayed, 4 commented and 14 shared at this exact moment in time – thank you for hanging in there and giving each article your attention!
I have noticed a consistent trend which concerns me greatly. This is not a correction or rebuke, but it is an observation so please don’t take offense. I do understand that IFA was founded to address a primary issue, the importance of prayer for our government in the USA – at least I believe that is true. My concern is that the articles about politics and government get a far greater number of views than do those of a strictly spiritual nature, or about intercession regarding these issues. To compare the stats on today’s first article with the stats above for this article – 13,118 viewers of which 1,861 prayed, 201 commented and 108 shared. That is a huge disparity. And although I realize not everyone remembers to click the “I prayed” icon because I sometimes forget, but always pray – the number of “I prayed” is always far less than the number of views. Although this last article could be considered “political” this time, most of the time they lead and those I would consider more of a spiritual nature follow. If we are not as concerned about spiritual growth as we are about just being informed, how can we be effective and Godly intercessors? And why do believers want to be informed if it isn’t to pray and intercede effectively? Are we putting the cart before the horse? Our spiritual maturity and Biblical wisdom is of primary importance, if we claim to be intercessors for America.

The “I Pray” icon doesn’t work for me about 2/3 of the time. This would be a good time not to believe what your eyes are telling you. The Lord keeps the numbers. Busy families may have just a moment to see what is out there and they pray as they are moving through their days. Older people have more time to intercede and it is the youth go out and work the fields. Don’t be to hard on them. However, I would like to encourage you in your leading out in prayer. God has given you gracious words and you lead well in prayer so I and others can follow/agree with you. Don’t be discouraged and let the wolves come in and steal your joy or the gift of prayer that you have to offer. You are a tremendous blessing to me and others.

Vernita – thank you for your kind and encouraging words. And I do understand and tried to acknowledge those contributing factors that may be effecting those stats. Being retired does allow a greater amount of time, and I acknowledge life is very busy for most. I’m really not discouraged, nor have I lost my joy – because my joy is in Him and He is constant – but thank you for your concern. It really is just a concern of mine, which I’ve lifted up to the Lord many times. So I guess I just thought it might be time to share it with the community. Some of the best articles are often down the list a ways, and I don’t want anyone to miss them!

Father, we look to you for justice. Open our eyes and move us to pray for these situations. Injustice abounds all around; may we pray in righteousness and repentance. We praise your name.

I wonder where all the leaders of those who yell defund the police live. I believe in gated communities with armed guards probably with orders to use lethal force. May God open the eyes of all who are suffering from the evil that satan is inflicting on them through all the hateful organizations like antifa and BLM. May those communities ask for God’s guidance and protection.

“justice for all”. Officers in Floyd arrest have been unjustly setenced. Floyd died of fentanyl overdose according to the toxicologyy tests. Need new trial.

My heart goes out to Happy Gregg, and all of those grieving parents, family members and friends of victims of violent crimes. However, I cannot undo what has already been done. I do pray for transformation in these communities, through a mighty move of God in changing hearts. Isn’t it ironic that BLM, who purports to care about black lives, has only destroyed many lives, including black lives, through their arrogant rebellion against “law and order”. No institution of man, even law enforcement is perfect so I also pray for transformation of hearts among them where necessary. What has been left in the wake of BLM should be a glaring warning to our society. All lives matter to YHVH! Rebellion is as witchcraft, and is an abomination to YHVH!
