Our tax dollars are paying for abortion in a huge way: $2 billion over 3 years.
From The Daily Wire. Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocacy organizations received nearly $2 billion in federal funding over a three year span, according to a new government report.

The Government Accountability Office disclosed in a Tuesday report that $1.89 billion in federal dollars was allocated to multiple different pro-abortion organizations, including those that perform abortion, over the three year period from 2019 to 2021. Planned Parenthood received the overwhelming bulk of the sum, a whopping $1.78 billion, during the three-year period, all while it performed 1.11 million abortions. …
The revelations come as poll numbers suggest that Americans are overwhelmingly opposed to federal funding of abortion. Three out of five Americans said they are opposed to using tax dollars to pay for a woman’s abortion, according to a January 2023 Marist poll.
While the Hyde Amendment bars the use of federal funds for most abortions, it does not prevent organizations like Planned Parenthood, America’s largest provider of abortions, from receiving those funds if they are earmarked for other purposes. …
In addition to the federal dollars that went to Planned Parenthood, another $2.03 million went to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The international organization operates in 146 different countries and works alongside 150 member associations. The IPPF brags that in 2022 alone, it provided 5 million “abortion services,” an increase of 11% since 2021. The figure includes 14,000 chemical abortions that were facilitated by the federation.
The report found that a large chunk of the money sent to Planned Parenthood was “illegally” taken from the Paycheck Protection Program, which was intended for small businesses to keep people employed as the government responded to the COVID pandemic. …

Father got in Jesus Christ’s name. I pray right now that you come through. For this tax money that is going to abortions. You are a God of life not of death. I pray that you you do a miracle on this. Because these children Should receive a good life not bad. I pray that you be in the midst of this cause. Your word says whether it’s 2 or 3 or more gathered. In your name, your word also says that the word of God is sharper. More than any 2 edge sword. I come against abortion. I come against whoever is doing this. For the money to go to abortions. You speak to these women who want to have abortions and And let them know that these children should have life. Because you are about life, you are a God of miracles. What an abomination to be literally forced to finance murder!! We must pray fervently for leaders that see the truth!!! No more business as usual!! Each little life begins at conception with a spark of life as the sperm and egg come together. From then on it is merely a matter of growth and eventually birth. God considers the unborn child as alive as anyone, just at a different stage of development than those outside the womb. Instead of centering only on the lives of the mother and maybe the father, what about the life and needs of the baby. ? What about the unique plans God has for that baby? There are less convenient ways to rightfully handle the pregnancy so the child in the womb can live too. We need to cry out to God loudly and clearly about this horrible atrocity. We need to weep over our terrible sin. We need to say no more death!!! Oh people of God, take a strong stand now!! Few sins are more important than this. We are turning a blind eye and hoping abortion will just disappear. It won’t.
Father , the corruption in our America is so rampant that our laws don’t inhibit those corrupt. Our only hope is for your intervention and our intercession . Mighty Savior, please guide our upcoming elections as we take our place of battle against the evil one … and save this ,your nation, to spread YOUR GOSPEL across this planet. As we pray we also lift up the nation of Israel and decree this day that Jesus as Savior will saturate that land .

Lord, we pray for an awakening among our youngest voters, to see the evil that is being perpetrated against unborn children, and to step up and vote against abortion by voting for pro-life politicians and laws that protect the unborn. We pray for Students for Life Action, that God will use them to speak the truth about abortion on college campuses, and change the viewpoints of people everywhere, to know that human life is precious; it is not our right to end any human life, born or unborn.
Lord, forgive us for our lack of respect for human life, whether it is for our unborn babies or our children’s school mates.
In the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

It should not surprise anyone that Planned Parenthood misused funds meant for others. If we consider that they willingly do the wrong of abortion, are they really limited to this evil? Sadly, they are not.
No, they must be opposed, not only regarding their doing abortions, but also their doing evil in other regards as well, including funding.
Father, forgive us, for letting us, our government slide down so far. Forgive us, Your people, for pointing fingers with prideful anger rather than pointing the world to You for these babies and the moms and even the medical practitioners. THANK You LORD SO MUCH for raising up doctors and nurses who will speak truth in love! For lawyers too who are helping to write good laws to guide us back to decency, to choose life over death.
