President Biden’s administration is considering a plan to grant temporary legal status and potentially a path to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. The “parole in place” policy would provide work permits and deportation protections to unauthorized immigrants with American citizen spouses. This move could enable illegal immigrants to bypass certain legal obstacles and eventually apply for permanent residency and citizenship.

The plan would use parole authority to provide relief without requiring illegal immigrants to leave the U.S., potentially allowing many to become permanent residents and eventually citizens, a move some see as an overreach of executive power.
Because this plan would benefit many long-term illegal immigrants, it could further incentivize unlawful immigration. There are an estimated 11 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S., and this policy could significantly impact those with U.S. citizen spouses. Progressives see this as a positive step to bolster support for Biden among Latino voters.
The Biden administration has faced lawsuits over its use of parole authority and may encounter similar challenges with this new plan. A 2016 Supreme Court deadlock blocked a similar Obama-era initiative. 
How to Pray about “Parole in Place”
Polls are clear that the border has become one of the most important issues to Americans. More than half of Americans polled support mass deportations of illegal immigrants. How should we be praying?
- Pray for the rule of law. Laws on the books are not being enforced and the southern border is essentially an open door. Pray elected officials and leaders will respect the law of the land and enforce the legal path to citizenship.
- Pray about amnesty. Amnesty may sound like biblical mercy, but ignoring the law is causing problems throughout the country. President Biden is running a re-election campaign–pray that God would determine his steps and that he wouldn’t take actions that will continue to harm the nation.

Oh Lord, our evil president and his Administration are doing everything they can to break up the Constitution laws and create anything that is in favor of him. Please bring truth, justice and honesty in this country 🙏 Amen!!
Dearest Heavenly Father: You see how the devil is using those which are in office against us. They are not standing up as followers of yours as they proclaim themselves to be, instead working diligently for and in conjunction with the devil. They are sanctioning unrest and disorder at our borders, gender confusion and homosexuality, abortions, and a myriad of other sins against you. They are assisting the devil in allowing into our country people who mean to harm and attack us from inside our country as they did most recently to Israel. I know none of this is surprising to you and that you have a plan and I TRUST you my Lord. I trust you to protect us and to thwart the devils plans for us. I know that you are not a God of confusion but of order and peace (1 Corinthians 14:33) and I pray your peace for and your will over America.
Father, we ask that Biden’s plan would not go through. Give those who lead him your thoughts on this and may our government respect the law. May the Supreme Court block this executive action that shouldn’t happen.
They are married to US Citizens, there is nothing wrong with that, on the contrary, US Citizens have that Right.
