Biden is committed to honoring our defense agreement with the Philippines. Will this drag us into war with China?
From New York Post. President Biden said Wednesday that the US military is willing to fight nuclear-armed China on behalf of the Philippines after ships from the two Asian countries collided near a disputed, unpopulated island in the South China Sea.

“The United States defense agreement with the Philippines is ironclad. Any attack on the Filipino aircraft, vessels or armed forces will invoke our mutual defense treaty with the Philippines,” Biden said during a joint press conference at the White House alongside Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The 1951 mutual defense pact says the US and the Philippines will jointly “defend themselves against external armed attack.”
On Sunday, two of Manila’s military ships collided with a Chinese vessel that sought to block them from reaching the disputed Second Thomas Shoal. …
The Second Thomas Shoal is located much closer to the Philippines than to China and is one of dozens of islands in the South China Sea disputed by China and the governments of nearby countries including Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan. …

China has been ignoring International Water Treaties in much the same way that Hitler and Nazi Germany broke and ignored treaty after treaty in the years just prior to World War II. These waters clearly belong to The Philippines, yet China has been building “Air Force Landing Strips on Islands and converting coral reefs into full-on attack bases.” No one has the strength to stand against this Communist Chinese Party aggression except the U.S. Please ask God to intervene, to give those with backbones and some degree of masculinity and justice the ability to pressure the spineless and emasculated U.S. Leadership (who has already been on it’s knees giving Chinese favors for years) the pressure and accountability for The United States to hold up its commitments and obligations to protect The Philippines where over 11,000 U.S. Marines died defending Philippine freedom in World War II. In Jesus’ Name we ask You calm China down. We ask Not only The U.S., but Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand will stand their ground. We thank you for appeasement and clear and open rebuke — financial, weather, economic, and other repercussions that only You can devise, again, in Jesus’ Name
