Irish voters defeated progressive changes to the Constitution relating to the family.
Have you taken your place on the wall?
Voters were asked to remove a reference to marriage as the basis “on which the family is founded” and replace it with a clause saying that families can be founded “on marriage or on other durable relationships.”
A proposed amendment would have removed a reference saying that a woman’s place in the home offers a common good that cannot be provided by the state, and deleted a statement saying mothers shouldn’t be obligated to work out of economic necessity if that would make them neglect their duties at home. And it would have added a clause saying the state will strive to support “the provision of care by members of a family to one another.”
All the major parties in Ireland supported these changes, but the people said no!

wow. great victory there. Father i wish mothers in every nation were not feeling “forced” to work and having to decide between quality time with their children or working to feed and provide necessities for their children. The truth that You can provide sadly seems lost in these worldly materialistic days. bringvthat truth back to the forefront. in Jesus name thank you for hearing and answering our prayers.
