Father, do not let us be complacent about justice and what is right. We ask for forgiveness on behalf of ourselves and our nation where we have let complacency lead us to sin.

Shoppers beware: “Made in China” is not just a country-of-origin label. It is a warning that those cotton goods you are thinking of buying for family and friends during this season of giving may have been made by slave labor as part of a system that is monetizing the most egregious human rights violations in the modern world. The primary—but not only—victims of this state-sponsored modern slavery are religious and ethnic minorities who want nothing more than the freedom to practice their faith and traditional culture, but are facing horrendous, targeted violence from the atheist Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

In China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Xinjiang), you will find the myriad victims of the CCP’s heinous policies. Up to three million Uyghurs, Kazakhs and other Muslims and ethnic minorities have been detained in as many as 1,300 internment camps. They are being targeted because of their faith, ethnicity and culture, without trials or due process. In this new gulag archipelago, Uyghurs face extrajudicial killings, torture, forced ingestion of unidentified drugs, forced sterilization, rape and sexual abuse, forced abortions, forced labor, political indoctrination, and forced renunciation of their faith.

China reportedly has sent hundreds of thousands of children, whose parents are detained in these camps or forced to work full-time in factories in Xinjiang or across China, to be raised in CCP-run orphanages. These children face the prospect of growing up with their families’ cultural traditions and religious values replaced with CCP ideology, effectively preventing future generations from maintaining their very ethnic and religious identity.

The captives in the CCP camps are forced to make clothing, towels, sheets, blankets, yarn, thread and other cotton products that find their way to the shelves of American stores. The captives are enslaved to produce the cotton and yarn used in jeans, T-shirts and socks, as well as the cottonseed oil used in food products and paper items. Outside the camps, Xinjiang has become a vast open-air prison wherein the CCP has dramatically expanded state security and installed a sophisticated surveillance networks. . . .

Now, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency are again taking action to ensure American consumers are not supporting the CCP’s supply chain of repression. DHS and CBP will announce a Withhold Release Order (WRO) on cotton products made by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), a paramilitary organization also known as the Bingtuan, that is the backbone of the CCP’s apparatus of control in Xinjiang.

CBP issued its WRO based on information that reasonably indicates the XPCC and its subordinate and affiliated entities use forced labor—including illegal prison labor—to produce cotton and cotton products. . . .

The WRO applies to all cotton produced by the XPCC and its subordinate and affiliated entities, as well as any finished products that are made with that cotton, such as clothing.

The WRO on XPCC cotton products is the latest in a series of actions taken by the U.S. government to address forced labor and other human rights abuses in Xinjiang. On July 1, 2020, DHS and three other agencies issued an advisory to warn businesses about the risks of forced labor in Xinjiang. Later that month, the U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned the Bingtuan and a number of Chinese government officials in connection with the mass arbitrary detention—and other serious human rights abuses—of Uyghurs and other ethnic and religious minorities in Xinjiang. Also in July 2020, CBP seized 13 tons of human hair from Xinjiang. Not since the Holocaust have we witnessed hair shorn from concentration camp inmates on this scale, and we have never seen such a widespread and pernicious attempt to monetize these byproducts of depraved evil.

This holiday season, we call on America’s consumers to understand that cheap Chinese goods are not worth the price. . . .

We will not dishonor American workers and others struggling through a difficult job market by pitting them against slaves. And we will not tolerate American companies profiting from the same evil that our country vanquished 155 years ago.

Look for the warning label. That sweater or throw blanket may look like a bargain, but we must remember that someone halfway around the world has already paid a very steep price for it. Is it still “cheap” if you know it was made on the backs of slaves in CCP labor camps and factories?

American consumers are increasingly careful about eating local and organic, about caring for the environment and their pets. We must bring that same mindfulness to products made through the coercion of human beings on the other side of the world who have no choices, no rights and no legal avenue to change their circumstances.

A globalization-at-all-costs mentality has facilitated a terrible, tragic demand for cheap and outright slave labor. The choices Americans make every day about what to purchase, and where to purchase it from, directly affect the demand for more and more forced labor.

These are modern-day slaves—it is as simple as that. As Americans of good conscience, we must stand up and refuse to buy these goods. We should use our voices to review products online and request companies certify that their products are not made with Chinese forced labor. We should urge Congress to pursue policies that affirmatively protect Americans from participating in this activity. U.S. businesses should review their supply chains and eliminate forced labor inputs—or face the economic, social and even criminal consequences of failing to do so.

Our nation stands for the inherent dignity and worth of every human being. The Chinese government needs to immediately close its camps, set its captives free, stop its program of cultural annihilation and end its state-sponsored slavery program. Unless and until the CCP does so, we must continue to block these illicit goods and pursue those who profit from them.

Wow! I’m looking on every label. I don’t want it if it was acquired this way. Human hair products! No! I will look for a better product.

Lord I repent of my ignorance(thinking I was supporting people in poverty)and my chosing to purchase items from China based on saving money instead of caring for enslaved people. Many of whom are children.
Lord I pray for Your mercy on the Chinese and other Countries that use slave labor and mistreat them. Lord I pray for those of faith in Christ to be strong in witness and prayer. Lord I lift up the Leaders of these nations and pray for Your plan of Salvation over them. I pray you open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God. Acts 26:18
Lord I pray that Your mercy would be over all those in captivity and if You will please set them free.
Lord for those in Government that encourage relationship with or support hostile governments I pray for Your justice and if You will removal from positions of authority. Take back the ground we Americans have given to the enemy. In Jesus name I ask. Amen Thank you Lord for being Holy and Righteous!

It was interesting since I have become more aware of this slave labor output. I found myself with a garment in my hand that I liked and while looking for the laundry instructions I also noted the tag made in China. That’s when it dawned on me that’s it’s one thing to know but then what are you truly going to do. I admit I purchased the garment but guess what. I felt that tag when I wore it and realized it was not a choice that I was comfortable with. There were other housewares that I passed by and when we were hit with cyberattack again this week I finally realized how high the price really was.
The Lord is a forgiving God. I truly did repent before the Lord and now see cotton fields with new eyes

Dear Heavenly Father, just as I pray that America be freed from the net of evil that has ensnared it, so too do I pray that the people of China be freed from the repressive and Godless government that has enslaved and indoctrinated them for far too long. Lord, let all people in all nations recognize the evil of the Chinese government and their agents, and let us turn our back on their cheaply made products. Forgive us for buying their products without a second thought in the past, and let us now choose to buy products made here in America or nations who still honor truth, justice, and freedom of religion. Lord please topple the evil house of cards the CCP has constructed. Let ALL the people of China see the evil of their government’s repression, as I am sure many of them already do. God bless America, and grant our leaders at all levels the wisdom and clarity to recognize right and wrong and let them choose to do what is right in Your eyes. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I would ask that as Christians, we avoid supporting the professional sports industries that do business with China. There ties to CCP slave labor are being “consistently suppressed” by the MSM.
Many of our ahletic and professional sports are tied to China. The NBA is one of the worst offenders. They justify their contracts through their slick and fork tongued PR reps while at the same time continuing with their entertainment contracts with the CCP. The amount of athletic gear that is produced in overseas sweatshops is staggering – despite that we are being told otherwise.
Please prayerfully consider completely turning off this type of entertainment.
On a personal note, I grew up watching this consistently but as of the last 5 years, our household watched none of it anymore.
Between what they say, what they stand for and what they actually do — it does not line up. Follow the trail of truth and our personal convictions will change.

    Amen. You are absolutely right
The NBA is the worst and when they got called out about this they defended their position. I use to watch sports of all kinds, but since they have disrespected our country and flag, I never watch them anymore. America doesn’t want them or need them. They are a National Disgrace.

Lord, I pray that You would tear down evil governments who oppress their people and who cause so much suffering to all You have made – both people and animals. Let them be replaced with good governments who seek to do what is right in accordance with Your will. I pray for those who are suffering in prison camps because of their religious faith and ask that You fight for them and that they might be set free.

I declare that I will take time to research whether things I plan to buy are manufactured using slave labor and, if they are, I will not ever buy them.

Lord, this breaks my heart on so many levels. We pray for your deliverance from evil. Deliver the Chinese from the sin of slavery. And deliver us from the sin of greed, where we choose to look the other way ignoring slavery so that we might gather more cheaply made goods.

This is the same issue regarding the COVID vaccines: people are choosing to overlook the fact that children/babies have been aborted to be used for research and testing so that vaccines out be produced more quickly. Our USA government has chosen to waive the fetal cell research restrictions so that we could profit from a quickly produced vaccine. Forgive us Lord. Deliever us. Heal us.

We look to you. You alone are our hope in this season.

SLAVERY IS SINFUL. IT IS WRONG. IT SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED.

America fought against slavery in the civil war.

Atheist Communist China has enslaved millions into forced slave labor to produce goods that are sold through some American companies. These products are purchased by the American consumer.

They torture, beat and abuse these workers in these Communist Slave Labor Camps.

We all as Americans should outraged at this Slavery. We all should be more aware that when we buy products that are made in China, that we are supporting a country that sponsors SLAVERY.

All Americans should make a commitment not to buy anything made in China.

American companies should not do business with China and they should not be profiting from this Slave Labor either.

Americans should take a stand against any American company that does business with China. We should refuse to buy their products.

Those that do buy from these companies, whether they realize it or not are supporting Slavery.

Americans should contact their government, governors, senators, congressmen and lawmakers to request that steps are taken to end business with China and any country that would be involved with Slavery.

This article was very informative. Please take your time to read the article.

Here is just one part of this article that stood out to me. “Look for the warning label. That sweater or throw blanket may look like a bargain, but we must remember that someone halfway around the world has already paid a very steep price for it. Is it still “cheap” if you know it was made on the backs of slaves in CCP labor camps and factories?”

Well said. Let’s all make a commitment not to buy anything “Made In China “.

God bless you.

Father, thank you for this article. We ask for Your discernment to not be complacent about injustice and to do what is right to boycott all China products . We ask for Your forgiveness on behalf of ourselves and our nation for consequently supporting China’s hateful and discriminatory practices. Expose China’s crimes so that the world economy will refuse to trade with China and their economy goes bankrupt. Judge and topple the CCP government and replace it with righteous leaders. In Jesus name.
