Did New York’s Attorney General overstep her boundaries in Trump’s fraud case? The Appellate Court thinks this might be the case.

From The Wall Street Journal. The Democratic Party’s lawfare strategy to defeat Donald Trump took another blow last week, not that it received much media attention. Three prosecutions have already hit snags, and now a New York appellate court has expressed considerable doubt about Attorney General Letitia James’s $489 million fraud prosecution and verdict.

Who is praying on the wall?

A five-judge appellate panel on Thursday heard Mr. Trump’s appeal of a lower-court judge’s penalty for allegedly inflating the value of his real-estate assets to obtain better loan terms. Ms. James’s lawsuit was unusual since nobody claimed to be harmed by the former President’s alleged legerdemain, which is ordinarily required in fraud cases.

Several appellate judges noted as much. “I’m sorry, what’s being described sounds an awful lot like a potential commercial dispute between private actors,” Justice John Higgitt noted. It seems, he mused, that the AG is “going into an area that wasn’t intended for her jurisdiction.” He suggested the court may need to impose “guardrails” on the AG’s power. …

Ms. James literally campaigned for her office on a pledge to prosecute Mr. Trump for something. …

What do you think of AG James’ actions? Share your thoughts and prayers below.

Lord, please bring truth, righteousness and justice to this and all other lawfare. Grant that appellate court justices would clearly see and understand the issues and rule strongly, clearly, directly and righteously.

I think AG James abused her position in a personal vendetta against President Trump. She should be disbarred and prosecuted for her abuse of power. If these wanna be dictators aren’t held accountable for their actions they will never stop. How much resources were wasted on this sham. She should have been prosecuting the criminals that are terrorizing the law abiding citizens in her state. Let’s not forget about these judges who are partners in these sham trials that these rogue AGs make sure they get their cases in front of. They also should be held accountable for their disregard of the law and allow their personal opinions enter in. I trust in God but we are expected to do our part in ensuring justice be served correctly.

Ms. James, the NY AG, overstepped and created a fraud case in which there was no fraud. The case should be dismissed with prejudice and AG James should face charges in which she is disbarred.

The “Case” was trash from it’s inception, and a gross perversion of Justice. Thank God for this Appellate Court seeing it for what it is and I pray they will overturn it and recommend guardrails against this kind of Political Lawfare in future. Bless you Lord.

This comes as no surprise, considering how vehemently that the N.W.O./Democrats have tried to destroy Donald Trump. AG James’s actions are certainly just a part of the evil, misguided actions that have been thrust upon Mr. Trump. I pray that ALL of the injustice that has been done to try to destroy Donald Trump will be exposed as the fraud that it is, and that he will truly be totally exhonerated of ALL the nonsensical lies that have been thrust upon him. Thank You, Jesus.

May Your just judgments be upheld by our court system, Lord – for injustice is a stench in Your nostrils and brings mourning and grief to the righteous.

Lord Jesus I pray for President Donald Trump and the attack of the enemy against him and other Americans! I am reminded of the warning given by Mordecai in Esther 4:14. Do not think that we will escape political persecution because as we have seen people who have Christian beliefs are being targeted! Lord keep us safe and involve in the political process. Vote in Jesus Christ name

Ridiculous. At best, the very best you can hope for is that the panel says that the ruling should be overturned. This would not change the fact that Trump was found guilty of multiple counts of fraud by a jury. So no party was injured, he still committed fraud. You still support a con artist who lies and commits fraud and you defend him. You cheer for injustice. Because, you know, Jesus was all about laws, not about the heart, right? Jesus only cared if people didn’t break laws, didn’t really care if they lied but could somehow get away with it. That’s the faith he preached, right? Its ok if you are immoral but you get away with it under some legal maneuver. Oh wait, that is the exact opposite of what Jesus preached but we defend Trump no matter what. Also, I thought our whole thought process here was that Biden had such complete control over the DOJ that he could get whatever rulings he wanted. You can’t trust any ruling because its from Biden’s DOJ, so how could it get thrown out.

Unfortunately for you, your statement that “Trump was found guilty of multiple counts of fraud by a jury” is false. Trump was not afforded the right to a trial by a jury of his peers. A totally biased judge determined Trump was guilty BEFORE the trial even began. How does that work?1! No evidence pro or con was even presented before the judge found Trump guilty. Would that be okay with you and your lawyer if you were to be accused of a crime? This was a totally bogus trial and should definitely be reversed by the appellate court.

Dan, your Trump Derangement Syndrome is showing! You cannot make Trump guilty just because you don’t like him! This woman “CAMPAIGNED ON GETTING TRUMP!” How arrogant these black shameful folks are! All of them black, all of them stupid! I’m black and born-again so I see Truth! These all were witch hunts to try to stop Trump for running for President! Trump is charged with “trying to overthrow the government” by merely saying walk to the capital and peacefully and patriotically let your voices be heard! Every charge against Donald Trump was to Stop him from running for President against two clowns and their clown friends behind the scenes! Biden, Harris, Obama, Michelle, Rice, and all of the other demonic democrat stooges! Who’s going to try to overthrow a government with not one weapon? WAKE UP AMERICA! You’ve been lied to by those in so-called power, the democrats!

Once again, I will say this, there is no question that Trump was found guilty by a jury of multiple counts of fraud. That is not the question. He lied, he committed fraud multiple times. The question is whether there will be a punishment. But there is no question that he committed fraud. You can try to twist this any way you want but these are simply the facts. And again, Jesus preached about having a heart for wanting what is right and good, not the appearing to be good or avoiding punishment for wrong. Jesus taught us to be truthful. If you want to be a Christian and go against the clear teachings of Jesus, well good luck with that.

No party was defrauded, loss any money, this is nothing but blatant election interference. No crime was committed except by the judge. Pray for God to clearly show what happens when one political party becomes Socialist, anti-God, anti-Christian and anti-American.
No one made any complaints but the AG Letitia, she is coming after Trump trying to mess up the election. Letitia James should be removed and should have charges pressed against her for overstepping her boundaries. Fani Willis should also lose her position and have charges brought against her.
