An appeals court has rebuked a federal judge’s attempt to investigate Trump administration officials, calling the move a “clear abuse of discretion.” The ruling marks a significant moment in the ongoing legal battles surrounding immigration enforcement and the balance of power between branches of government.

From the Daily Caller:

An appeals court smacked down on Tuesday a judge’s sweeping attempt to investigate top Trump administration officials as a “clear abuse of discretion.”

Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee, planned to hold contempt hearings to assess whether officials willfully ignored his order to return alleged members of the Tren de Aragua gang to the United States, even if it meant turning planes around.

“The district court proposes to probe high-level Executive Branch deliberations about matters of national security and diplomacy,” D.C. Circuit Judge Neomi Rao, a Trump appointee, wrote in the court’s 2-1 opinion.

This ruling underscores growing tensions between the judicial and executive branches, particularly when it comes to immigration and national security. By stepping in, the appeals court signaled that lower courts do not have unlimited authority—especially when their actions risk interfering with sensitive executive decisions involving diplomacy and public safety.

The case also highlights broader concerns about judicial overreach. The attempt to probe internal deliberations of the executive branch raises serious questions about the proper limits of judicial power and the need to preserve the constitutional balance between the branches of government. When courts move beyond interpreting the law into investigating executive decision-making, it can create instability and confusion in critical areas like national security.

As IFA intercessors know, this is nothing new. Rogue activists in the judiciary have been attacking President Trump since his inauguration last year. IFA has posted a number of articles about Boasberg in particular, who has seemingly worked to become a thorn in the President’s side.

This situation is a reminder of the importance of justice, order, and accountability. Intercessors, let’s pray for wisdom and humility for judges and leaders alike, and for a justice system that upholds truth without overstepping its bounds.

Praise the Lord! Father thank you for the decision of the appeals court. I pray for upright judges in our country that will rule with an eye on the constitution and an eye on your word. May they rule fairly and with integrity, not just hatred for our president!

American judges have NO wisdom or integrity. The legal profession is now a sewer. Judges like Boasberg make it that way.

It would certainly appear to be precisely that if we believe all we read and hear from TV and the gutter-Press !
Wouldn’t it be great if the American “Media” and jurists started thinking about just how ridiculous they set themselves out to be on the whole Worlds’ Stage – Ridiculous and Traitrous ! In many of the countries the Media advocates for, they would be simply executed quietly for their sins !
God bless America and her President Donald Trump !
