President Donald Trumpās administration has not demonstrated that they are likely to succeed in the case, two of three judges on a U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit panel ruled. The government has also not proven it will suffer irreparable harm unless the reinstatement order is paused, the judges said.
āAppellants also have not demonstrated a likelihood that the district court clearly erred in finding that the six agencies were directed by the United States Office of Personnel Management to fire probationary employees,ā U.S. Circuit Judges Ana de Alba and Barry Silverman wrote. …
U.S. District Judge William Alsup earlier in March ordered six agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense, to reinstate about 17,600 newer workers they terminated based on guidance from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
The Trump administration appealed. Officials said that the OPMās revision of a key memorandum, with an emphasis to agencies that they have ultimately authority for hiring and firing, should have ended the case. …
Plaintiffs said in a filing that the government had not presented evidence meeting the requirements for a stay pending appeal.
āTheir retroactive protest that restoring the status quo would be administratively burdensome does not establish irreparable injury,ā they wrote.
The Ninth Circuit had already denied an emergency motion for a stay of Alsupās ruling. Alba and Silverman wrote at the time that pausing the order would ādisrupt the status quo and turn it on its head.ā The Trump administration has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene, but justices have not yet weighed in. …

1 Kings 3: 28 The Voice
When the news of the kingās wise judgment spread throughout Israel, they all feared him. They respected him because they perceived Godās wisdom in his just judgment.
The Bible mentions two specific types of fear. The first type is beneficial and is to be encouraged…a reverential awe…a reverence for His power and glory… a proper respect for His wrath and anger…. a total acknowledgement of all that God is… knowing Him and His attributes. gotquestions.org
Dear Lord and God Almighty, please do whatever is necessary to bring ALL of our judiciary to a reverential fear of You, God of Justice. With a proper respect and acknowledgment of You, as the Most High Judge, we can be a great nation. Open Your storehouse of attributes and “reign” them down on these men and women. I pray this seed of power (my prayer) will be grown into abundance. I believe justice and righteousness glorify You and provide security for us. I love You Father. I love You Jesus. I love You Holy Spirit.
Thank you and Amen.
Father, these rulings are so confusing ..we ask for clarity, wisdom and favor for the reduction of the workforce in an effort to streamline our government. We ask for the Supreme Court to honestly address this issue and rule in a way that would glorify you with the outcome. I pray for the people who have lost their jobs that you would use this too draw them to yourself and provide them a new position so they can provide for their families. In Jesus name.
Amen! I pray in agreement.
