The Associated Press acknowledes that illegal immigrants do vote in elections while also claiming that noncitizen voting isn’t “happening anywhere in significant numbers.”

In a hit piece skeptical of the Republican-led Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote, the Associated Press (AP) acknowledged that foreign nationals have been caught “illegally registering and even casting ballots.” But that fact doesn’t stop Democrats and their media allies from opposing safeguards like the SAVE Act …

“The specter of immigrants voting illegally in the U.S. has erupted into a leading election-year talking point for Republicans. They argue that legislation is necessary to protect the sanctity of the vote as the country faces unprecedented levels of illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border,” the AP’s Ali Swenson wrote.
“Voting by people who are not U.S. citizens already is illegal in federal elections and there is no indication it’s happening anywhere in significant numbers,” Swenson insisted. But nine paragraphs later, she conceded that “there have been cases over the years of noncitizens illegally registering and even casting ballots.” …
Federal voter registration forms do not require documentary proof of citizenship. Instead, each individual who registers to vote must simply check a box affirming he is a U.S. citizen. In other words, our elections hinge on the honor system.
Why are Democrats so opposed to an additional “mechanism” to prevent foreign nationals from registering to vote if the current “mechanisms” have allowed aliens to slip through onto voter rolls? …

Why do democrats oppose safeguards to prevent illegal immigrants from voting? The answer is so the can win elections by using illegals vote for them. They care nothing about the constitution or the USA only that they are in control. They blindly follow the democrat platform which in my opinion is an instrument of satan. I have found it very difficult to see much good in our government over the past 30 years. I will continue to pray that God give me the strength and determination to persevere in prayer and trust in God’s will to be done. Amen
I hear the most difficult part about the SAVE ACT is to get Schumer to address it in the Senate and not ignore it by just keeping it on his desk…………Prayer that he would not be able to ignore it because members of both houses will put enough pressure on him to address.
Lord, save us from the lawlessness that pervades our country and help all of us to obey the laws of the land including those for voting. Help our officials to do what is right in Your sight.
LORD, thank You that WE KNOW You are bringing out into the open ALL that is being done in darkness. May we CONTINUE to have our eyes, ears and hearts open to You in these actions, KNOWING You will be directing the actions needing to be taken in dismantling and rebuilding all that needs to be done in making You known!
This is why showing an ID is so important when voting. In SC, immigrants can get a Driver’s License or an ID, but at the top, it states “Limited Term.” This means that the person carrying that card has not provided proof of citizenship and cannot vote.
Father, help every state to clean up their elections and voter rolls. I pray that every state would require the appropriate photo ID, with proof of citizenship. I pray that every poll worker would verify that the person’s ID is valid. Help the poll workers to to be the gate keepers of our elections. And, Father, if any of the poll workers have nefarious plans, please expose and stop them. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Lord Jesus, once again, we cry out to You about our election process. Please restore integrity and honesty to exclude the illegal aliens to be able to vote in our upcoming elections. I pray that anything that can be done in our nation to stop these illegal actions will come to pass, and that the election process in our nation will be done in an honest and legal fashion. Thank You Jesus..
Father, I pray for passage of legislation that will require proof of citizenship in order to register and vote.
