Yesterday, the Senate failed a 13th vote to fund the government. However, according to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, the end may finally be coming soon.

“I think they’ve picked up,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune told POLITICO about the rank-and-file bipartisan talks. “Deadlines have a way of doing that.”
Several of Thune’s senators, plus Speaker Mike Johnson and other House GOP leaders, appear increasingly convinced that enough centrist Democrats are getting ready to fold — potentially by early next week.
The looming cutoff of food benefits, air travel delays and a new statement from the largest union of federal employees calling on lawmakers to end the shutdown are bearing down, they believe.
Over the past month, Democrats have remained steadfast in their opposition to Republicans, pushing for Obamacare tax credits to be added to any funding resolution. However, as federal workers continue to go without pay and federal benefits start to dry up, the more liberal members of Congress may soon change their tune.
POLITICO does note, however, that Democrats have not publicly signaled a willingness to compromise. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer recently told the press that he was optimistic Republicans would compromise in November.
Meanwhile, anticipating an end to the shutdown, Republicans are having internal discussions over how long a stopgap bill should last. Current options for the next funding deadline include January or March. Senator Thune has said any bill that would expire before the end of the year is out of the question. And the White House, meanwhile, is hoping to push the next budget deadline all the way through December 2026.

I am praying God’s will be done on Earth as it is in heaven [Matt 5:9-15] [Galatian 6:7] “Don’t be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” This would mean the elimination of the evil, corrupted people in our government and society and holding them responsible for their crimes against humanity. The shutdown is a means to an end. When we get to day 61 then President Trump [by the power given to him by Yahweh through the Holy inspired Constitution from our founding Fathers] can fully remove the people & departments permanently from the payroll that are stealing from all of us. Then the human trafficking, child sacrifice will not be able to be funded. Then there will be resources available to pay the people. Also, if the people in congress & the senate don’t get paid then maybe they would look at it differently. I pray for all the people effected by the shutdown. I know it can be a very hard and difficult time for them. But if the church would step up and do their part as commanded by God [Luke 6:38], “Give and it shall be given to you pressed down shaken together and running over it shall be given to you]” they themselves would be blessed to do even more for the Kingdom.

Please cause the hearts of those Democratic Senators who You know who secretly desire to vote affirmatively with the Republicans to reopen the government. Please convict those Senators to be bold and courageous to do the right thing and push that the Democrats will yield and do the right thing for Americans! I thank you, Dear Lord! Getting the runaway budget under control is more important in the long-run that a temporary shutdown. The Democrats, like middle school children, don’t want any limits and their spending….

Father I am asking you to give the Republicans courage to continue to stand for this clean budget bill to persevere and not cave. When will conservatives honor the Word of God by not using words that insult or belittle their liberal opponents. Even in this article the verbiage “about to fold” is enough to anger someone who is in the brink of voting for the Clean CR, to remain a “no” vote.

I reside in Virginia and have been fervently praying that the abortion amendment that would be passed next year if a Democratic ticket (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and other members of the Virginia Assembly) are elected, will be DEFEATED! A Democratic General Assembly would move it forward to be voted on in referendum. If passed, the amendment would enshrine unlimited abortion, into the Virginia Constitution, up to and including until delivery, to be permitted. This is heinous! It would also make our state an abortion destination and put adoption agencies and pregnancy centers at risk!
I pray that the Lord will bless Virginia with righteous and just men and women to serve our citizens who will respect Life and Biblical values!
