For years now, the left has been pushing for green energy in America. However, some of the green companies funded by the left’s renewable energy push reportedly have troubling connections to China.

A pair of major North American solar companies, including one touted by Senate Democrats in 2023, could face scrutiny over their ties to China.
While the feds have created barriers to Chinese firms flooding the solar market, many have found ways to localize operations in the U.S. or North America in a manner that allows for public investment and even deferential press coverage at times.
After then-President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act, Senate Democrats praised the law for its substantive investments in “green” energy, including solar. One company that received top billing was an Ontario-based firm that was founded by a Chinese entrepreneur and keeps much of its assets in China.
According to Fox, this company, Canadian Solar, was founded by Qu Xiaohua. Although it is based in Ontario, the company’s main operating arm is listed on Shanghai’s SciTech board. Additionally, a 2025 company filing with the SEC revealed that, due to Canadian Solar’s business in China, the CCP “may intervene or influence” the company’s operations.
Representative John Moolenaar, chairman of the House Select Committee on the CCP, recently sounded the alarm on green energy companies connected to China. He highlighted another Chinese firm called Gotion which, just like Canadian Solar, received taxpayer money as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Fox also highlights another company known as Trina Solar, a subsidiary of a Chinese solar company of the same name. Trina Solar reportedly sold its Texas-based manufacturing assets to T1 energy, another company based in the U.S. but tied to China. The Chinese Trina Solar owns 16-25% of T1, allowing it a minimum of two board members.
Relying on companies tied to China and handing them taxpayer money is a threat to our national security. Now that the information is out there, let’s pray that our leaders take action and sever all ties to any company working with the CCP!

We are talking about the same Trump who has been trying to develop an agreement with Putin to develop rare earth minerals in the Arctic in return for turning over Ukraine to him and America businesses pouring billions into Russia??? This is the same Putin who declared he was the new Peter the Great. The same Putin who has killed those that opposed him and sent assassins into other countries. The same Putin who is responsible for kidnapping over 100,000 Ukrainian children. So, in other words, we are talking about the same Trump who places more value on making money than human lives? Of course, we should care about our environment. We started making laws to protect our rivers and air over a hundred years ago so it is a direction we have been following for some time.
I wish to propose a counter industry which promotes passive heating, cooling and light. It would counter China’s drive to push solar and wind.
Passive heating, cooling and light is based on the design of buildings. Modern materials provide good insulation. Computers enable us to model air flow through buildings making it possible to use the cooling and heating properties from the ground. Insulated windows can be installed in locations which allow more light during the day. The way a building is designed and sits on the land in relationship to the sun and trees helps heat and cool and light it.
A building designed for the desert is going to be different from one designed for a colder climate. A building designed for Africa would be different than one designed or North America.
Anything that the demoncrats push needs to be carefully vetted. They are satan’s party and nothing good comes from them. May God take care of them and all the evils they are pushing in His own way and time. I trust in God. 🙏😇🙏❤️
I wish I could say that the Republican party under Trump was better than the Democrats. Sadly, it doesn’t look like that is the truth.
It has come out that Trump has been negotiating with Putin since before he was elected. He wants to enter into a business deal with him to develop the rare earths material in the Arctic. It is the reason he said he could end the Ukraine war with one phone call. The reason why he appointed a business man to negotiate with Putin. The reason why when there are negotiations with Putin, Ukraine is not in the room. The reason why Trump wants to take over Greenland. The reason why he all but offered Ukraine on a silver platter to Putin.
Needless to say that enabling Putin to benefit from developing the Arctic would give him the means to build up a powerful army.
Heavenly Father we praise You for all that You are. Thank You for Your power and the power You have given us through prayer in Jesus’ Name. Dear Lord let Your will be done in America and on earth as it is in Heaven. Give the American people transparency, justice, and protection. Open the eyes of those who’ve been being decieved for decades. Canadian Solar is slated to destroy 1000 acres of Upstate NY with a solar farm.
We live in Duncan, Ok and our Son-in-law pastors the Assembly of God church in Velma, Ok, about 18 miles from us. We go to church there so on the new highway 7, our route to there, we’ve seen acres and acres of land that has been sold to a Solar company. It has been very concerning watching such a distance of that being created. In reading the IFA email this morning on so many if them being connected to China makes us wonder about it.
You should be aware that most or all of the solar cells and other hardware are made in Communist China, and Pres. Trump hasn’t slapped prohibitive tariffs on the junk….

It seems that the Devil is certainly adding to his workshop minions, both internationally and domestically. We are under attack from many enemies and it seems they count on our distraction with things of this world. Their tactics are wrapped in the “reason of the day” whether it be woke philosophy, narcissism and self interest, humanism and/or a blend of these elements. Many of our “leaders” have been placed in office by these forces and they are beholden to them and so we are corrupted at virtually all levels. Green Energy is nothing more than a liberal scam, and using China to fund it is quite dangerous to our national security. China’s control of green energy will be a minor issue if they get control of Taiwan, which is where 90% of advanced chips used in AI and other applications, is made.
What is sad and what we should be praying about is this administrations making business plans with Putin which will result in Ukraine being all but turned over to Russia and give him the resources he needs to build his army into the most powerful in Europe. Europe realizes this and Germany and other countries are preparing for war. We need to be praying about the lack of morals on the part of this administration.
I agree that we should be concerned about the earth but I don’t think important questions are being asked like ‘what is the best approach to reducing emissions’ or ‘is green energy actually good for the environment’?
What you are not being told is that solar panels degrade and have to be replaced every 25 years which means that every 25 years thousands of acres of solar panels have to be disposed of in some way. They also don’t mention that solar requires vast tracks of land. To avoid removing forest land, some utilities have started using farm land. In the last few years, farm land which could be used to feed as many as 3 million people have been used for solar farms.
In order to come up with the best answer, we have to look at what is possible based on our present technology, and what is the reason for the increase in emissions.
Emissions in the United States is dropping but world wide, it is going up. Even if the Untied States went to zero emissions, it would make no difference. The reason is that China, India and third world countries are building coal plants at a record breaking rate. They are choosing coal because it is cost effective and near by.
If you want to reduce emissions, you have to re-look at the situation. To reduce emissions from the plants which have been built, scrubbers need to be introduced. Also different combinations of coal produce different levels of emissions. We could help these countries reduce their emissions by helping them change there mixture of coal and helping them afford scrubbers. We could also encourage China and India to switch to gas which produces less emissions.
There is also the option of passive heating, cooling and light which is tied to the design and material used in buildings. Large stucco walls in the desert help cool a house. Trees planted at the corner of houses help shade and cool houses during the Summer months. With our new computers we can model air flow and when a house is built right, it is possible to use the cooling temperatures of the earth to cool. There is more that can be done there then I can list here.
Small modular nuclear plants are also an option for developed countries such as the United States and India and China but we are still twenty years away from benefiting rom them since it takes years to design and build them.

And, yes, it is true that China is using coal to mine and refine the materials used in solar panels as well as to power the plants used to manufacture them.
Electricity was economical when conventional coal generating stations were on line. Americans are being hosed to pay for solar (which only works during the day) and wind turbines (which only work when the wind blows and most of the time they don’t turn at all). Americans should demand electricity at $0.10/kwhr delivered, and demand no subsidies to non producing solar or wind facilities! Mine and use the coal, drill baby drill, dam those rivers (for hydropower), fission the atom (for clean nuclear power). The hell with the rest! Nobody walks when money talks.
And those that push solar and wind fail to mention that if a utility does build them they also have to build an alternate source which can be brought on when they are not available. So, in other words, the public has to pay for two power sources and their systems in order to use solar and wind. Doing so, increases the costs for the poorest in America. Not only do they pay more for power, they also have to pay more for everything else because the cost of manufacturing and farming goes up as well.
About as bad as Trump and associates making business deals with someone as evil as Putin!

Pres. Trump needs to cut Putin loose. No Ukraine deal if Ukraine has to cede land to Russia. I would rather see Trump supply long range missiles, drones, planes, etc. to Ukraine to send terror to Moscow and other Russian cities in return for what the Russians have done to Ukraine!

This kind of prayer is what concerns me about this site. Many people who promoted green energy were manipulated by the press who either didn’t research adequately, were biased in their thinking, misled or, yes, genuinely deceitful. Most of the people who promoted green energy were very sincere and meant well. Very few outright benefited from it. Those who sold and installed solar and wind probably did profit from it. Some maybe went up the management chain of command at utilities by promoting what was being pushed politically at the time. Those types should have known better.
We as Christians should not necessarily cast those who disagree with us as enemies or evil. If you respond patiently with someone who is deceived and explain issues that they don’t understand, you can pant seeds of doubt.
