Just when you thought the American Psychological Association couldn’t get any more psychologically unbalanced, along comes their next task force. It’s for what they call “consensual non-monogamy.”

The “Consensual Non-Monogamy Task Force” promotes the rights of people who engage in “diverse expressions of intimate relationships.” Like open relationships, swinging and “relationship anarchy.”

Relationship anarchy is not defined. . . .

Do you ever feel discouraged by the craziness in our culture? It’s a great time to sign up for IFA’s devotional series, Take Heart: Jesus Has Overcome the World

Presumably these sex practices are psychologically healthy. The task force has deemed them to be “ethical.”

Since the Sexual Revolution, nearly all the accepted sexual taboos have crumbled, one after another. Few remain. But one of the few is adultery.

A recent Gallup survey found that 89 percent of Americans still believe it is wrong for a married man or woman to engage in adultery. This 9 in 10 statistic has been stable over the last two decades.

But here comes the APA, trying their best to topple that taboo. Some might say that consensual adultery is not really adultery and therefore the taboo remains. But ask any dictionary. The Oxford English Dictionary defines “adultery” as “voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not their spouse.” Any “consent” on the part of the jilted spouse is immaterial. . . .

According to the swingers and adulterers task force, “Finding love and/or sexual intimacy is a central part of most people’s life experience. However, the ability to engage in desired intimacy without social and medical stigmatization is not a liberty for all. This task force seeks to address the needs of people who practice consensual non-monogamy, including their intersecting marginalized identities.”

How will the APA fight for the liberty of sexual anarchists against entrenched “social and medical stigmatization”? Well, they do have an annual budget of $100 million. And sadly, loads of credibility. . . .

What about the Christian, Jewish and Muslim families whose beliefs don’t include “swinging” as a healthy lifestyle option? Why, there’s a task force on that, too!

It’s called the LGBT Religion and Spirituality Task Force. Its stated mission is to “reduce theological barriers” which “separate sexual minorities from the sources of their beliefs.” That means search and destroy. Its targets are American’s religious beliefs about sex and marriage.

This new task force against religion and the task force for swinging and adultery will probably join forces. We may see them start a new task force, this one against parents.

Once the professions are silenced and the church is shackled, one obstacle will remain. Parents will be the last “barrier” between predatory leftists at groups like the APA and your children. (Excerpt from The Stream, article by Cathy Ruse.)

  1. “Finding love and/or sexual intimacy is a central part of most people’s life experience. However, the ability to engage in desired intimacy without social and medical stigmatization is not a liberty for all. This task force seeks to address the needs of people who practice consensual non-monogamy, including their intersecting marginalized identities.” I interpret this as: People have the right to be free of reality and to be free of any responsibility for medical consequences, such as disease and pregnancy, that may be a result of sexual promiscuity. I just learned the term “glittering generalities: “Using glittering generalities as a means of propaganda allows you to sway the beliefs of your listeners, without actually giving them a concrete reasoning. It involves using words associated with high valued ideals. One of the most effective examples of propaganda techniques would be the oratory skills of Adolf Hitler.” -From Satan is twisting words and minds, taking people farther from the Truth that will protect them and ever deeper into his downward spiral to Hell. Lord, I pray that You will wake people up and open their ears and minds so that they can understand when they are hearing propaganda. Please put in their hearts a hunger for truth, and especially for the Truth of knowing Who You are. In the Name of Jesus, Who detested the Pharisees who led others away from God. Amen.

  2. No better than Sodom/Gomorrah is true. They turned their back on God and they were destroyed. Today, the same thing is happening, many turn their backs to God and do not want to face Him. They think nothing will ever happen to this society of freedom and all will continue as before for hundreds of years now. Nor will they know until this wall of destructive beliefs collapses on top of them, then it will be too late to save the USA. They can compare it with the way it was and long for it to be so again, but history shows once freedom is gone, it’s gone. People killing each other, and no 911 to call, no agents of help, no church to help them, all…… gone because of their mindless eradication of all that was good. Jesus Christ will come to restore this earth and nothing else will help!

  3. If the human opinion is the standard, you get what we have today…chaos! God created us, therefore he knows how we need to live to enjoy life, reach our God-given potential, and glorify God His word is our textbook on how to live, be a blessing to others and honor our creator. “Great is the nation whose God is the LORD”.

  4. It is a horrible time in our history. I have never seen the perverted so determined to draw our children to their abominable ways. Please, dear Lord, you are able to save our children and I believe you will do it. Dear Lord come into the hearts of our children that they may know right from wrong. And turn the hearts of those who are on the wrong road to the right way of living for You. Rescue our children and grandchildren in Yeshua’s Name I pray.

  5. Holy God,

We are no better then Sodom and Gomorrah. We continue to walk away from Truth and Your perfect design for family. Oh Father, forgive us and place our feed back on the path of Righteousness. Lord, Your return is near, help us to be prepared and to shine the light of Christ in these very present dark days! In Jesus perfect name I pray!

  6. Father, forgive us for turning our hearts away from You and allowing the sacredness of marriage to be defiled and redefined. Expose the truth and heal marriages that have been broken by adulterous behaviors. Heal the heals of those affected by adulterous behavior and restore the family unit in the way You designed it. In Jesus’ Names!
