Surges of migrants and poor border protection have left our immigration system and our nation itself overwhelmed. Some leaders, such as Gov. Abbott, are moving forward with solutions.
From The Epoch Times. Another grim milestone in the ongoing United States border crisis has been reached after the backlog of pending cases in immigration courts passed three million this November.

Only 12 months ago, the backlog was reportedly at two million, representing a significant uptick in pending immigration cases throughout 2023. TRAC notes that immigration judges are “swamped” as a result, with each individual magistrate averaging 4,500 pending cases each—with cases only growing with the continuing influx of illegal immigrants at the border. The data research center also revealed that the number of pending cases is so high it now outnumbers the population of some U.S. cities. …
Since the expiration of Title 42 earlier this year, the Biden administration has been under increasing pressure to address the massive influx of people trying to cross into the United States illegally. Title 42 allowed the U.S. government to expel people from the country if they came from a location where an infectious disease was present. …
Backlog on the Rise Since Trump Years
According to TRACs, the number of pending immigration cases has been on the rise since at least 2016, the final fiscal year of the Obama administration, when the backlog stood at 516,031 cases. At that point, immigration judges had an average caseload of 1,850 each. …
From Breitbart. Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill making Texas the first state in the union to give law enforcement officers the authority to arrest migrants who illegally enter the state. The measure, SB 4, was signed into law on Monday during a ceremony at the base of the border wall in Brownsville, Texas.
The bill is part of a package of measures designed to decrease the flow of migrants entering the state from Mexico. The Texas Legislature passed the bills during two special sessions this fall. …
Senate Bill 4 from Special Session #4 makes illegal entry into Texas from a foreign country a criminal offense. The law is the latest attempt by the state to crack down on migrants illegally entering the state between ports of entry. By creating the offense of illegal reentry, offenders can be penalized with sentences of up to 20 years in prison. It also provides the mechanism to order an offender to return to the foreign nation from which they entered or attempted to enter this state. The law provides civil immunity and indemnification for local and state government officials, employees, and contractors for lawsuits resulting from enforcing these provisions. …
The State has also increased penalties for other immigration offenses normally reserved to the federal government. The Texas Legislature passed bills, signed by Abbott, that creates a mandatory ten-year minimum prison sentence for smuggling of persons and continuous smuggling of persons. That law enhances the criminal penalties for operating a stash house and creates a mandatory five-year minimum prison sentence. …
The law will likely face a quick legal challenge by the Biden Administration, which has taken the Governor’s previous attempts to reduce the flow of migrants to court. …

Father the past 3 years of the Biden administration has wearied us and ruined our nation in so many ways on so many levels. We are saddened and maddened, yet our mandate is to pray for the souls of those who our tax dollars pay to serve the best interests of our nation yet who apparently are too busy serving themselves and globalist agendas, who have knowingly and willingly let these illegal atrocities happen and have even rewarded the illegals with freebies and legal protection. Father please help President Trump get back into office to straighten this mess out or empower a law and America respecting candidate of your choice with divine wisdom, strategies, and follow through to turn America around again to patriotism and greatness and to make decisions that prosper our economy, and protect our borders, our sovereignty, our economy and our constitution, to bless us not harm us, in Jesus name we thank you for hearing and answering our prayers.
Do they know they are coming to a country with the highest rate of gun violence and mass shootings in the developed world. A county with a health care system inferior to countries like England, Australia, New Zealand etc. A country with a history of slavery, segregation, discrimination, organised crime, and fear of the other. And one with a dubious Presidential candidate, much married, who pays hush money and is facing a mountain of civil and criminal charges.
America does not need dubious people from elsewhere – the country has enough of its own.
Send them all to live with the president he wanted them here so badly. He lives in a big White House on the hill and save us our tax dollars welfare indeed ….
Oh Jesus Christ our Savior, please give Godly wisdom in the minds of the American government 🙏! You have seen what has been going on with this huge crisis for a long time. Humble themselves and ask for strength, courage and support that will only come from you!
I feel Biden is currently causing an insurrection right now with keeping our border purposely open! Biden is more guilty of causing an insurrection because of the all the known terrorists coming over, the danger that our boarder police are in, and all of the deaths and sicknesses that have occurred because of this open border, and he is causing a huge threat to our nation! I say we charge Biden with insurrection, he is a threat to our nation!!
This is a real shame. Unless things change quickly regarding this mess, our nation will be severely wounded by this nonsense. Lord, please, by Your grace, make a way for this fiasco to end quickly. Thamk You, Jesus.
