The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has launched a campaign of resistance to the policies of President Donald Trump, starting with a nationwide training for protesters this past Saturday. The event at a sports arena on the University of Miami campus was livestreamed to all 50 states and reached an estimated 200,000 people. Speakers talked about protesters’ legal rights and encouraged demonstrations in support of the First Amendment, abortion, civil rights, same-sex marriage, and transgender policies. “We’ll do the work in the courts. You do the work in the streets,” ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said to attendees. The organization has created a website to help coordinate protests around the nation. It also is encouraging local officials to pass municipal laws that contradict Trump’s policies on topics like immigration. (Contributor: World News – The Associated Press contributed to this report.)

I’m praying for you daily–for wisdom in the complex problems we face, for protection, and for the success of policies that will help our nation. I’m praying for the confirmation of your excellent nominee for the Supreme Court and for wisdom re: adjustments to be made in the new health care bill, and for success in stopping illegal immigration. It’s too bad that your opponents don’t believe in democracy or our US Constitution. Stand firm for our great heritage–especially freedom of religion, the sanctity of life, marriage between one man and one woman (the basis of a stable society), respect for law and order and authority. Do ask God for wisdom, and may He grant it!

A great spiritual battle is being waged in the heavenly realms because the enemy of our souls finds his dominion being threatened in this great nation. He does not want to give up any ground and he is fighting fiercely because he knows his time is short!!! Mr. President: I am praying against the blindness of those that are opposing your conservative position on various matters. The Bible tells us to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. This is definitely a spiritual war and we must watch our words that we speak so as not to sound revengeful and mean spirited. I am pointing all fingers at myself and my own attitude.
