I Prayed have prayed
Our God, prepare our hearts for whatever will happen and whatever You will do this year. Let us submit to what You have for us. Amen.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

So far, 2024 is shaping up as a difficult year with all sorts of trials and tribulations. It is in difficult times, however, that we are called to be thankful and to worship God.

From Charisma News. In a recent message, John Ramirez gave a warning for the spiritual battles that lay ahead of us in 2024.

“The Lord spoke to me regarding 2024. He says, ‘Speak to My people. It’s not a happy message; it’s a preparation message,'” Ramirez said. …

“If you’ve been told how the enemy is coming, then he won’t catch you off guard,” Ramirez said. “The Lord said, ‘Regarding 2024, what’s coming to the church in 2024—it’s going to be a year of attacks like never seen before … warn My people that the attack is not over your mind; it’s going to be over your heart.'”

Ramirez warns that because this year will include attacks over the heart, there will be many who leave the faith, and that some will join cults to chase after mystical beliefs. …

[It] is our job to have a grateful heart in all circumstances. …

It is giving thanks to God no matter what we may be feeling, no matter what we may be experiencing—that is the key to a grateful heart connected with the Lord at all times. Ramirez reminds us that instead of complaining about the storms we find ourselves in, we are called to give God thanks at all times that He is with us even in the storm. …

This thankfulness is not only the key to seeing heaven move, but it is the key to destroying Satan’s attacks that he has planned against your heart.

“The devil’s plan is to harden your heart,” Ramirez said. “If the devil hardens your heart in 2024, you will have short memory of the good things that God has done for you. … And the devil’s plan is to take the church in 2024, to harden your heart, because if he can harden your heart and then attack your mind, it will make you forget all the good things that God has done for you.” …

I personally am personally going through some troubling times. My faith in God has been questioned. I feel the strength from both sides. I have a lot of things going core for me and a few things going bad. My heart, my baby girl and I are in separate homes do to this calling or gift from God.

My granddaughter (16) has recently been missing. I drove her to school and she did not return. She has not been to school, cheer practice or cheer events. The police and my family have been looking for her. I choose not to have fear; I know from whence it comes. I have Trust in the Divine Mercy of God. May God do His good work through this situation.

I agree with this article, and its focus on the importance of guarding our hearts. Matthew 24: 12, says,” Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” The word there for “love “ is agape. Agape is the Christian love of Christ; so the warning is for the believers not to let our love grow cold , not to lose our first love;; but to guard our hearts , because we need to remember that we do not “ wrestle against flesh and blood ,(men), but against principalities, against powers, and against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
We need to remember when Jesus walked on the water in a storm, and called Peter out of the boat to walk on the water to him, and how Peter was confident for a while, but then started looking at the waves and storm about him and began to sink. Sometimes the storm and the waves are metaphors for the uproar of the nations. That is what is going on around us right now, and of course will increase; but we must not place our eyes on what’s going on around us and sink in it. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We must guard our hearts and keep them in agape love . Jesus will give us what we need to fight the battles around us —one day at a time. His plans for us have always been for “ for good, and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope.” Those plans for each one of us, are the plans that he has made and which He will oversee the outcome if we let him.
By God‘s grace, we can make it until the end.
Let us go out to meet the Bridegroom! Glory hallelujah!

Josiah wept when he heard the word of the Lord which had been buried under rubble. May the Lord open our eyes to see that the purpose of the Church is to plant seed, water it, and harvest an eternal increase. Yeshua said “Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.” That’s cause and effect and it is progressive. As we follow and keep following and abiding we will want to fish for souls. Right now, many congregations hear only about the God that meets their material and emotional needs. That’s upside down. As we serve Yeshua’s purposes, He gives daily bread. The western Church seems to have forgotten her purpose. It’s not political and it’s not selfish. It’s eternal. Leaders are temporal. All things material are temporal. Emotions are certainly temporal. Souls are eternal. Hearts set on eternity are not easy to harden because they have no personal dreams.

This could so easily happen as so many of us are so thoroughly demorilized by the seemingly supernatural theft of the 2020 election and the subsequent unchecked proliferation of evil with no end i sight. It all looks pretty hopeless and very easy to feel abandoned by God.

Thank you for your warnings Father, We look to you as our strength. No matter what we face, may we trust you and find our joy in you rather than good circumstances. Awaken your church to the same thought: you are sovereign and you are our deliverer.

Yes-the hardness of our journey either makes us lean into our Great God and depend on hearing from Holy Spirit 24/7. We learn to remain in rest. Or we can get offended at God for the shaking of our faith. The shaking is for us to lean on the eternal and not the temporal more than we are. The refining of His people is His mercy and grace.

Yeshua rebuked the storm and there was a great calm. The Living Word of God will reign over the enemy in every battle of the end times. Revelation 19. We submit to you Lord but we resist the devil and he WILL flee.

John Ramirez is in a unique position to know considering his deliverance from great darkness……
His prophetic word rings more true to the heart and spirit than the majority of so-called prophetic words that sound sweet , easy and promising, but have little depth of warning or calls to repentance.
Thank you John Ramirez and thank you IFA for sharing this word.

“With my whole heart I have sought You, Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! I have stored up Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” “Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. Incline my heart to perform Your statutes forever, to the end.” Psalm 119. “And you shall love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Mark 12 “Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3 “Be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” Ephesians 5. Amen, in Jesus’ Glorious Name.

We are in a crucial season, true. But listen, what shall we do? Press in to God, in prayer and fasting, in studying His Word, be and stay connected to His Church and worship Jehovah God. Join with prayer groups. Let our focus and declarations be what God says and is saying. Keep our relationship with the Lord close. Jesus assures us that He offers a unique refuge where we can find rest from the weariness in the battles that plagues us. Make the intentional choice to spent time daily in His Presence, He says, Come to Me, Come to Me, O Come to Me! He’s not caught off guard by what is happening.
Going through the doors of 2024 we need “discernment”, spiritual discernment. As we come to Him, He puts His yoke, which is light and gives us His direction, He lifts and strengthens our faith to enlarge our hope. There is a timeless message of comfort and peace in Matthew 11. This passage provides inspiration for people seeking solace and rest amidst the challenges we face in life. Verses 29-30 says: “Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Amidst the hardships, burdens of battles, and weariness, Jesus extends His invitation to all who feel the heaviness of the struggles in life. It’s an open invitation to step back from the world, lay down our burdens and gain renewed faith and strength in His grace so that we can rise up and DO what He’s calling the Church to. This is not the time to give up. God has a calling on each of our lives! The enemy attempts to steal and destroy God’s Kingdom plan for each believer. God has put a purpose, a purpose and dream in your heart, and it is for good. Your life matters and “what you have in your heart matters!” Keep God’s Word, both the written Word and the prophetic proceeding words you’ve received, in your heart. Speak these over yourself, ask Holy Spirit to set these words burning with holy fire in your spirit. Don’t give up in this season, keep the dream and purpose of God has called you to in your heart because there are giants in the land. Put your hand to the plow and don’t give up and keep it there in 2024.
Whatever you do, do with all your heart UNTO THE LORD, because it really matters. It really, truly does.

The most serious word that I have heard is Pope Francis’ decision re homosexual unions.
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
I pray Our Father for all Catholic Priests and lay people that they would hear from Heaven and know what You, Lord God, would have them do in response to the Pope’s decision. Perilous times have surely come and the church is under the most awful attack. Your unchanging Word, Our Father, is to be our guide and Romans 1 and 2 are still in the Holy Bible–may all who are truly called by Your Name always obey the clear teachings of Holy Scripture no matter what others decree. Strengthen us Our Father for your enemies have increased and we need YOU to greatly increase our number. In Jesus Name, Amen.
