I Prayed have prayed
Father, You have shown us what is good and what You require of us. You work in us to will and do Your good pleasure--help us do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with You.

I recently had a dream about justice being handed down. While I won’t divulge too many details, it was a former high level official being exposed for his crimes. In one dream, I watched his arrest unfold on television, which means the world was also watching. This was not my first dream surrounding this incident. In recent dreams, I have seen this person exposed for corruption and shady dealings. I believe we are to continually pray for justice, and what is about to come. However in these dreams I mentioned, something else stood out to me. It was his posture. As he was exposed before the world, I saw a great shame and even what I sensed to be remorse for his actions.

After waking up, I prayed over these dreams. Now with connections to the Michael Flynn case, dossier, and more to possibly be uncovered, I feel like Lord laid this on my heart.

His people must remember that He is the God of both justice and mercy. How can two things that seem opposite to one another be? The answer is found in Jesus Christ.

God is both a righteous judge and a merciful God. We were once guilty before God. Sin separated us, and the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23) Justice would’ve given us an automatic death sentence; we were rightfully guilty in God’s sight. Until Jesus paid for our sins. We did not get what we deserved. That is also called mercy.

Jesus Christ’s death on the cross combined both, and his resurrection gives us the power to live a life of justice and mercy.

If we do see arrests handed down, I believe that our reaction as believers should be not only justice, but mercy as well. Each time I saw the former official, I didn’t just see the person who was guilty. I saw a soul that Jesus Christ died to save. The Bible says that God is able to save those to the uttermost who come to him (Heb 7:25).  No matter what crimes they’ve committed, no matter what race, gender, or political party. He is able…to the uttermost, no matter how far off they are from him. They still have a chance to repent and cry out for salvation. While you are praying for justice to come to the guilty involved, pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as well.

For those who have prayed for justice for a long time, we must be careful not to let our feelings dictate our praying. Two examples in the Bible are found here. We may sound like James and John in Luke 9:51-56 in their zeal telling Jesus, “Do you want us to call fire down on them?” James and John had zeal, but lacked wisdom. They thought calling down fire on those who rejected Jesus was what he would’ve wanted, but instead Jesus answered, and said, “The son of man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” We may end up bitter like Jonah. He was angry when Ninevah repented at their sins. He felt Ninevah did not deserve God’s mercy. He wanted to see God’s judgment poured out on them. God spoke to Jonah concerning his nature of mercy.

I believe Micah 6:8 gives us a blueprint for how to walk out justice and mercy and demonstrate the character of Christ: He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly (justice) and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Thank God that he is a God of justice. Things may not happen as quickly as we want, or how we desire, but that doesn’t change who God is. (See Isaiah 55:8,9 Isaiah 33:22, Job 12:22)

Thank God for his mercy and be merciful. Remember each person, even the guilty, is a person Christ died to save. (See 2 Peter 3:9, Psalm 86:5, Psalm 145:8)

Walk in humility. As the days pass and more is revealed, we must maintain a posture of humility. The opposite of humility is pride, and God detests pride. Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them. (Prv 24:17,18)

I will close with a quote from Patricia King that I love: “Even the most wicked sinner, is one revelation away from Jesus Christ.”

How are you praying for the officials whose misdeeds are being revealed by the uncovering of the cover-ups?

Looking back at the old testament I have seen God consume an evil man and his friends and families. I asked why? I got the sense that it was a witness to the people to not tolerate evil…which incidentally goes into our DNA and vibrates its frequencies when we are unrepentant, even traveling in our family DNA from our ancestors making repentance doubly necessary. Mercy is wonderful. I have received it! But treason is a high crime that requires execution. When have we seen this? Our enemy executes by murder people like Seth Rich, Martin Luther King Jr, John and Robert Kennedy and hundreds more…while mercy is Christ-like for sure, justice may have a higher demand. The opportunity for forgiveness before execution is part of our heritage. I remember James Dobson visiting the Ted Bundy and that I may see Mr. B in heaven is very probable.

am praying for everything to be exposed and dealt with in an orderly way and swiftly..
that rioting would stop and that those that are rioting will get very sick and die.i wish I had a
better perspective..but I dont believe they have any good in their hearts. Meanwhile that the
peaceful protestors would get their needs met and leave things in Gods hands..that God would
sustain them.

This will be a hard one to swallow. Not to gloat will on be accomplished if the Mercy is lived out behind bars where they will be rejoicing in the Lord. To get off scot free only sets a precedent for others to continue to target the innocent for their political agenda. If this makes me a bad Christian, all I can say is God is not finished with me yet. The country needs Justice to heal and for the people to trust again. I have long been praying for the saved an unsaved in our government. For if all were saved we would not be in this position in the first place. Jesus is the only solution to all that ails our nation.

Thank you for this information. More than ever, we need to pray for our nation. It appears that democracy is at stake with a few powerful individuals trying to manage the country with their deliberate unmasking of innocent Americans. No warrant whatsoever. Very dangerous. We pray that the leaders will humble themselves and not ruin the country due to their self-serving motives.

Lord,
I pray that the spiritual forces of evil that are behind all of this will be completely uprooted. May the strongholds that have been established in our government and in our society be broken down. I pray that there will be those who have been part of this scheme who will repent, turn to Christ and confess the extent of this deception. I pray that the unmasking of the “experts” will result in releasing people throughout our society to question the lies that they have been fed as truth. I pray the the American people will wake up to the danger of relying on the government for security and will wonder what other lies they are believing. I pray that many of those who have been involved in something they thought was right would see what they have done wrong and turn to you. We thank you that it appears Roger Stone has come to Christ. We thank you for the ministry of Chuck Colson following his involvement in a political scandal. We are praying that you will raise up great warriors for the kingdom as a result of this.

I am so very grateful for the Justice being uncovered and for the innocent to be set free.
The scriptures you suggested I read truly convicted me of not being pleased when those that schemed and Lird for evil purposes are exposed. I must be sure to pray for their salvation, and I didn’t, but now I am convicted to pray for each one to find the Lord.
Thank you for your great wisdom.

I am reminded that the Scripture directs all followers to pray for all of those in our world that are not born again; “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,” Matthew 9:37-38 (KJV). Also, the believer is told to “make disciples of all the nations…” Matthew 28:19.
As to punishment for sin that has been committed by a non-believer and that non-believer repents, his/her punishment for those wrongs will not be removed unless the earthly Judge reduces or eliminates the punishment. Furthermore, we know that all men will not be saved or will repent, Matthew 7:13, “For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.” Verse 14, “Because narrow is the gate… and there are few who find it.” WE must pray for all “Nations” for we do not know who is going to heaven and who is not. The “Harvest field is white and ready for Harvest,” and we the children of God must be about the masters business of winning them to Christ. That responsibility is given to each believer, “Go you into all the world and preach the Gospel.” God will lead us into “our world” wherever that may be.

Dear Gloria –

Thank you for your timely prophetic word above.

I appreciate the views expressed. I also feel that the Body of Christ has not always correctly
understood what the Bible means by “justice”, as many Christians who pray or cry for “justice”
seem to be actually calling for “vengeance” or “retribution” in some form.

Biblical justice is nothing to do with vengeance or retribution and we need to be very careful,
as you correctly pointed out in your word, to be merciful in our thinking towards others, lest
we become puffed up and self righteous.

Biblical justice “involves making individuals, communities, and the cosmos whole, by upholding both goodness and impartiality. It stands at the center of true religion, according to James, who says that the kind of “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world” (James 1:27). Earlier Scripture says, “The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern” (Prov. 29:7).

Justice flows from God’s heart and character. As true and good, God seeks to make the object of his holy love whole. This is what motivates God throughout the Old and New Testaments in his judgments on sin and injustice. These judgments are both individual and corporate in scope.”

https://www.christianitytoday.com/pastors/2010/summer/biblicaljustice.html

May a more complete and compassionate understanding of what lies at the heart of Biblical justice
motivate the world wide Body of Christ to act justly in the true sense of wanting to bring wholeness
to a broken world. Amen.

Shalom and Love to all of you, your families, your flocks, and your networks

I am praying that these workers of iniquity ( politicians in DC and across the country) that their deeds be exposed and they be brought to justice if they have lied, cheated, or destroyed another person life. Yes they need to be brought to justice but they too are people created by God and need to know Him, so I pray that they will have a Damascus road encounter with God and that the hardness of their hearts be turned to a heart of flesh tender to God’s word. I also pray that the Lord would send out laborers into His harvest to bring God’s word to them so they can be saved.

That is a wonderful example of redemption. I love it!
However, do not confuse the fact that Chuck Colson did NOTHING like what the person in this woman’s dream has done as far as death and destruction and treason to the USA under God and her citizens. It behooves God’s people to educate themselves on the facts in all instances and not be passively led. Obamagate and Watergate are not even close to comparable in criminal acts and results of death and destruction. Yes, I pray for their souls. We are waging a war in the heavens for much more at stake like the USA under God and Israel and so the rest of the world. If we do not win that war, there will be no praying for souls in the future, for instance. I for one do wish to see JUSTICE along with God’s mercy. Perpetrators need to know there are consequences and they answer to man’s laws, as well as God’s laws. This will also discourage other’s from going down an evil, slippery slope so easily. Justice does in fact deter through consequences. Remember when Jesus was upset with the money changers in the temple? He took swift punitive action. Remember all the times in the Bible God said wipe them out including the animals who had been horrifically abused in unthinkable manner? When they didn’t fully comply with the Lord’s directive and obey the Lord, the evil returned from the remnants who were not dealt with and caused much destruction and problems down the road so to speak. It is not a time for complacency or passivity in this era. The Lord is telling His people to get up and fight. Thank you for the opportunity to respond in this format. God bless all the prayer warriors and intercessors and all those taking action too!

Good teaching. Many get confused between God’s justice and His mercy. He does not want anyone to go to hell and Jesus died for all. I have read books by several hi level satanists who came to the Lord. That being said, God never excuses us from suffering the consequences of our sins, even if it means execution. We reap what we sow and evil has to be accounted for.
I do not know who may have committed the unpardonable sin, or a sin unto death. But 1Jn. 5:16 says we do not have to pray for that one.
I just pray for God’s wisdom and love through this all. But this IS a spiritual war and we are warriors in the Army of God. We need always remember, whether in the physical and/or spiritual realm, war is hell and not for the weak hearted.

Thank you on your reminder of God’s mercy. I want justice, justice , justice with all that I hear and see lately with the corruption in our government, but I easily forget about mercy. I’m so tired of being lied to and finding out there are few in our country you can trust that my heart is angry and hurt. And I know i am not alone. But then there is mercy. The same mercy our heavenly Father gave me when I sinned again and again, and even today sinned. I’m reminded His mercy is renewed each day and thats where my heart needs to dwell for this world. For everyone of both sides of the issues. Oh how he loves us! All of us.

The Word says: “what you sow you will reap”; “as you have done unto others, it will be done to you”. Christians know if they repent they are forgiven by a merciful G-d. But we need to repent from our heart, recognize our sin, and make amendments if required and if possible. But G-d is a just G-d, sin brings death. So if we sin knowingly or unknowingly, expect to pay one way or another. We will be forgiven but we will pay. Jesus also said to go to the offended party and ask for forgiveness and make amendments then bring the offering. Those officials NEED to pay for what they did. G-d will forgive them if they repent, but they will pay because G-d is a just G-d. These crooked politicians need to be forgiven by us. Lets ask the Lord to help us to forgive these people. But they need to go to jail if jail is what they deserve. They will take you to jail for less, no questions ask, so why not them?

A great reminder that we need to do our part to pray for justice, love mercy & walk humbly with our Lord. Also we should not judge others. You said, “Walk in humility. As the days pass and more is revealed, we must maintain a posture of humility. The opposite of humility is pride, and God detests pride. Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them. (Prov 24:17,18)”

Thank you for that! God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. We must show Christ-like love. I would rather see a former enemy go to heaven than see someone for whom Christ died miss his chance to call upon the Lord in contrition, repentance, and faith! I certainly don’t want to discover that my wrong heart attitude and lack of compassion was a factor in someone who was so dear to his or her Creator rejecting God’s compassion and choosing to continue down the wide road leading to destruction!

We must never rejoice when our enemies stumble. We are to offer to go the second mile when compelled to gone a mile, we are to offer a cup of cold water in Jesus’ name, we are to heal the ear cut off with the sword, and we are to forgive those who nail us to real or figurative crosses. “The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me! It’s not hard! It’s impossible! It is Christ in us, the Hope of Glory! Even John the Baptist, of whom Jesus said, “There is not one greater born of woman than John, ” said, He must increase; I must decrease!”

My prayer: “Help us, Lord!” By the power of Your Holy Spirit, fill us and keep equipping us for today’s opportunities and any challenges we may face in all our tomorrows! In Jesus’ name. Amen!

God is a God of love and mercy but those who have worked to destroy our Constitution and make deals that brought them millions of dollars cannot be allowed to get off scott free just because they say they are sorry.
God also chastises those He loves. The rule of law must be enforced otherwise others will be encouraged to do the same thing. Right now criminals are arrested and immediately set free to commit other crimes over and over again in some cases. We are on the verge of anarchy and some governors are acting like dictators.
God is in control and let Him guide the sentencing and punishment of these individuals who say “no one is above the law” except them and the members of their party.

I agree with this article, but I have an important reservation. Because of the massive breadth of the crimes committed by government officials, to the extent that our very nation could become a Marxist totalitarian state, I feel it is necessary for us to continue to ask the Lord for justice, i.e., punishment upon these people.

There is an important principle that we who intercede must not forget. “The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.” Ps. 125:3. I believe it is critical for these people who have committed such high level crimes to be punished for the sake of the consciences of good people, that they might not grow cynical in their pursuit of goodness and abandon it.

Therefore, as noted in the article, it is proper to pray for both justice and mercy. We can pray for mercy for the souls of these criminals, since as Wesley said, hell is so bad that we would not our worst enemy to go there. But we can also pray for justice, i.e., punishment, to encourage the righteous not to give up their pursuit of what is good and also to put holy fear in others lest they someday attempt the same wicked schemes.

They need to understand that there is shame and consequences when one chooses to do the wrong thing, so that they determine they will never put themselves in that position.

Well said, Paul Cirillo! This is exactly what needs to be prayed and done! All aspects of God’s laws need to be applied for all the reasons you have given and His character made known to all who have broken our laws. Truth needs to prevail. God did not just overlook our sin, but gave Jesus to take our punishment. There has to be punishment for these situations for all the reasons you stated and to show the character of God to all who have sinned or they will not see any reasons for repentance.

Yes we really need to consider what Christ would want us to pray for the guilty who are revealed to the world who have so wronged their authority. Remember: all Satan (or others) have to do is make us mad at someone and we will either not pray for them, or it becomes extremely hard to do so.

God wants us all to change our thinking, punishment may not change a person’s thinking but God can. But God does say that: “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the hearts of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:11 We must pray for God to draw them to Jesus as well so they may be saved- as sentence is executed to them.

A very timely word for us. Thank you.
This attitude of mercy is very important. Imagine the shock on half the country when justice is served. The media has been spinning a story where the just are evil, and the unjust are hero’s. I think it very important that we extend the same mercy to those that have been deceived by the media. Some will have trouble doing that, because these people have been so vehemently opposed and outright nasty to us. It will be tempting to say, “see, I told you so”. But when we realize that the enemy is not flesh and blood, but principalities of darkness whose power has been used to deceive these people, it becomes easier to have compassion for them.
Dear Father, I Pray You give us understanding who the real enemy is and help us have the maturity to show mercy on the ones that have been so deceived. For it is You that will bring justice, not us. And it is You that will determine the severity of their punishment to those that have done wrong. May we all mourn for this terrible chapter in our history, where confusion reigned, and innocent people were falsely accused. Begin the healing the process as soon as justice is served. Raise up Your church to be the ones extending the hand of mercy to those who were deceived. I pray for restoration for our country.

I agree with the 2nd part of this. I wi explain it like this. My Dad said that when Hitler and his enforcers were brought to trial, we were so appalled at what we found that we immediately prosecuted. But he said that if we would have sat back just a little and given them some tim er to think about what they had done, Sad said that they might have repented and come to Christ. But we didn5 and I ve even seen the recording ms of it and you could see it on them . They immediately turned themselves over to sata. And completely denied they had ever done it.
While we need to show mercy and give these unmasking people some time to repent they do need to face this and removed from Any governmental positions and positions where that might do it again over people. WithThose positions come great responsibility. And failing to meet those ccx responsibilities comes consequences. Jesus does nothing without Us, His Brise! We cannot let this happen again.

God knew exactly what would happen with these evildoers and the choices they would make. No chance whatsoever they were going to Heaven if their names weren’t written in the Book of Life. As with everyone on earth God decides if their names are written in the Book of Life, or if they are blotted out.
Yes, we must pray for them. But giving them “time to repent” is hardly part of God’s plan. If so, then God gave them ample time from trial to gallows repent.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Father I pray as the unmasking of the cover-up develop and unfold the extent of the corruption and darkness; that your mercy be upon those involved in destroying others people’s lives with lies. That you will touch their hearts and change their ways as you did with Paul. Let them tremble with fear and repentance! We know all things work together for good and what the enemy meant for evil, you will turn it for good! That all the arrests will be in a peaceful manner! I pray for your holy protection over the people doing these arrests! And forgive those that did lied for they did not know the severity of their actions; but you are a God that see everything! I ask for Justice and mercy! Bring the prodigals home! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

I learned that the Hebrew term “hafak” means both overthrown (as in being removed from office) and also “overturned, changed, and converted”(as in brought to salvation). I began to appeal for “hafak” for corrupt officials, as the term implies both justice and mercy.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word says that the foundation of a ruler’s throne is His Justice. God, please allow and empower our President – Your anointed king for this time, to carry out swift and sweeping Justice on his enemies, Barack Huseinn Obama (Barry O) and his administration. I also ask for the people of America to have their Justice on William Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton, for their many decades of crime and deception. God, carry this out swiftly, completely and justly. I pray against the media arms of the Deep State – that God would flip them – set them free to report truthfully and justly all the events that are about to unfold. God, may this person’s prophetic revelation completely come to pass in Jesus Name. Amen.

I am praying for Salvation where applicable, and for the “deliverance of the souls” of those involved in the wrongdoing and the cover-up involving so many as to the attempted overthrow of a duly elected government, in Jesus’ Name! We rebuke, bind and cast down the demonic influence that was allowed to manifest and work through the minds, emotions, and actions of all those involved in this satanic working, in the Name of Jesus the Christ. May justice be served and realized and may this onslaught by the demonic spirit of lawlessness be arrested and defeated for this season of time, in Jesus’ Name! I pray that those that have been wrongfully prosecuted and injured, personally, financially, socially, and professionally, become the recipients of full restitution, reclamation, and restoration, in the Name of Jesus! The Chief Cornerstone must crush us before our dust, pulverized as it is, can be molded to the shape if a brick and placed in the fire, before it can be added to His Holy Temple, a Royal Priesthood.

I love Patricia Kings insight. The Lord told me this as He began working on removing the logs in my own eyes back in the 70’s. He would tell me “they don’t have the Revelation of Jesus Christ”, which ultimately meant “neither did I”.

Jonah, James, John, did not know “what spirit” was operating in them. Self-righteousness/Pride is a ‘huge log’ that only our humility and daily embracing our Cross can remove. Even Job did not recieve a full explanation from God. The depths of God are unfathomable, but we are called to have the mind of Christ!

Great post!

I have often brought in the past the scripture in John 9 on how Jesus was not happy with James and John, sons of thunder, were the ones who spoke this out. He told them they were operating in the wrong spirit….We also have been praying Luke 12:1-5…That everything that has been hidden in darkness will be exposed to the light whispered behind closed doors will be heard..vs5 tells us the only one we are to fear..God help us to always operate in the right spirit…James 2:13 mercy triumphs over judgment…

God does not expose our sin publicly to others, unless we will not deal with it in private ourselves when he is trying to convict us.
When he does expose us, it is not for destruction. It is only for the purpose of repentance, and
restoration of a believer, or salvation of an unbeliever.
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”

Thank you Sister for sharing this insight. I confess that I needed to hear everything you said. We are all God’s creation and he doesn’t want any of us to perish. What about the imprecatory prayers of David in the Psalms? Psalm 69, 149, among others. David had zeal for the Lord God of Israel and was willing to fight for Him; even while he was humble.
Too often we think God is only a weak god of love, forgetting love would not be true love if it did not punish sin and hold the wicked to account.

Yes and Amen, as I read the article and prayers, the LORD reminded me of the woman at the well, who was exposed in front of the masses and ready to be stoned in front of all who would delight in her punishment, but what did Jesus do? —asked the question: Who among you is without sin….go throw that first stone. No one was able. He wrote in the sand (Jeremiah 17:13) Our Living Water Messiah is a game changer and Hebrews 8:6 shows that to us. We are not to judge (Mt 7: 1-2) We are to hate the demonic forces of evil in the heavenly places which are strongholds in the lives of many…and the roots sometimes are so strong that many go astray. God hates the sin but loves the sinner. We who are in Christ are in unity with Him who loves. (John 17 prayer of Jesus) Yes we want justice for the wrongs and mercy for the rights…repentance. (John 8:6-11) Jesus said, “ I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10)

Lord Jesus.
Forgive us for our snub pride in all this unmasking. These people have all been deceived and lived in the camp of the evil one. I pray that your Justice would be served, your mercy would be seen, and many of thosewho have been caught would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus, just like I was 32 years ago. Thank you for this reminder, and reading through the replies, others are appreciative of your pointing us to what I believe is on God’s heart, that all would come to repentance.

I recently studied repentance in the Hebrew, making a deep study of it. I also made a similar type study of righteousness. A righteous person had no sin. The only way to remove sin is to for the price of sin to be paid, which was accomplished through the blood that Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary. It took Great Love and Humility for Jesus to do that, and He did that for us, who were sinners with no hope of our sins being forgiven. He changed all that with His being the sacrifice for our sins. His sacrifice made a way to be righteous, an be forgiven of sin!!!

The Lord’s prayer focuses on forgiveness, and Christ on teaching on forgiveness asks us to forgive others. If we don’t, He said God would not forgive us.

Recently, the Lord led me to Hosea 10:12 (NLT2)
12 I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

If we can be made righteous by the forgiveness of sin, then we should extend that forgiveness to others–even those – whom we discover to have misused their position and are corrupt. This does not mean – not to hold them accountable, but to offer good seeds of righteousness/forgiveness. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, but also shows us a way of escape through what Jesus has done for us. We need to follow this pattern, and be ready to pardon–and extend righteousness. Hosea 10:12 also states that when we do, we will harvest a crop of love. –That love could literally heal our nation.

YES and AMEN. Years ago I was shown Jesus on the cross. The WORDS given were- “This is MERCY- This is JUSTICE.” In my flesh I was aghast at how this bloodied crucifixion of innocence was JUST. Where was/ is the MERCY? Later learned that one of the Old Testament prophets (Isaiah?) used one word that had that double meaning. YES for my soul and all who repent the mercy we receive is based upon the justice meted out upon our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Justice was served for all my (our) sins bought by the suffering of Jesus. My JUST GOD demanded payment for sin to remain just and JESUS paid it for all who will receive His Mercy. Yesterday my ears were popping while we circled our city in prayer. The years of prayers for unplugging ears- unblinding of eyes – thawing of frozen hearts may be answered now. May Jesus receive the reward of His suffering and all us guilty ones humbly accept His atonement for the salvation of our souls. May we be an approachable soft warm light of grace for those covered with shame. May we be instructed in how to gently remove the grave clothes and see multiple born again lives come to Jesus. PENTECOST draws nigh…. Let us spend these 9 days in prayer in preparation for the outpouring of John’s baptism of repentance AND the baptism of the Holy Spirit and baptism of FIRE. Amen

Gloria’s dream coincides with a dream that I had in June 2017, which I journaled and have prayed out of.
In this dream, I could see a lot of people before me. I knew they were ones who work for the intelligence agencies. I could see among them that the Lord had placed a big red “sticky note” on those who were complicit in undermining the Trump administration because of their secret dealings.
The “sticky notes” represented a mark upon each one–that their activities would seen and “flagged” and be obvious…
The red is for Jesus’ blood-the Lord is compassionate and slow to anger–but they must repent of their ways and turn to Him. Some of them have wandered from the faith and resisted God’s call on their lives–these ones must repent and surrender fully to the Lord, and report their dealings or those of others, even though it may mean great sacrifice or losing a career.
The term “red flag” is familiar to us. It means a warning signal or sign; something that indicates a problem or danger. I looked it up this morning, and found that in politics, a red flag is predominantly a symbol of socialism, communism, Marxism, and historically anarchism (Wikipedia). This of course adds a further dimension and importance as to how I am praying for the Lord to expose the corruption in our government.

Yes, a perfect example! Will God use the consequences they deserve to humble them and direct their hearts to Him? Justice can sometimes prepare our hearts to receive God’s mercy. Will those who are guilty be humbled in their conviction or incarceration that would lead them to a search of their heart? We can have Justice and still have mercy. Mercy does not mean the escape of justice. Such a good word!

Jeremiah 9:23-24 clearly agrees with these thoughts. I remember reading these words one day and pondering how God could exercise justice and mercy at the same time. It finally dawned on me that Jesus was the bridge that made this possible.

About 6 months ago the Lord woke me up to pray for different folks in the government. He showed me that some would flip from evil to good once they were exposed to the light. Lord, we remember that after the Watergate scandal G. Gordon Liddy and Chuck Colson both went to jail — an outcome of man’s justice system. Yet, in jail, Chuck Colson repented, accepted Christ’s blood sacrifice and the new life You offered him. He was transformed and you used what the Enemy intended for evil for your Kingdom purposes, making him a fruitful, humble, man of God whose Prison Fellowship Ministries, articles and books ministered to many. We ask You, O God, to “arrest” the wicked by your hand, in your way, in your time — man’s justice system or not. We ask that You repair and restore our nation’s justice system, from the top down. However, we also ask that for the salvation of the guilty and their families. We plead for their repentance and transformation. We request that You make examples of those who are surrendered to the justice system and surrender to You, ultimately in a good way. Thank you that your justice system never fails and that you extend mercy to your children, even as we experience natural consequences for our sin. Lord, have mercy on our country, whose democratic majority has chosen wickedness and rejected You.

“The Gospel is the POWER of God unto salvation!” Father God, I thank You that the “sword of the Spirit” is a two edged sword! Open our eyes of faith – which works by Love! Help us to be “pro claimers” that release the fullness of that “GOOD NEWS” power, that brings both Justice and Mercy! Ultimately, the goal is to have hearts turned to You, for You are a Good God and it is Your Goodness that leads men to repentance! You’ve shown us many examples of this – one of the MOST profound being Saul of Tarsus becoming Paul the Apostle! I believe the forgiveness of Steven declared even as they stoned him, unlocked the door to young Saul’s heart as it disarmed the enemy right in the middle of a gross injustice! Let it be so once more that though there is the great need for justice it is the power of LOVE that has the last word!
