There are times when God pulls back the veil on His process of releasing His will into the earth from heaven. The case of Ukraine and the establishment of their first-ever National Day of Prayer is one of those.

As intercessors and, in particular, prophetic intercessors, we often obey the command from God to pray or to be a voice in His timeline, releasing His purpose for a nation from above.
The case for the “behind-the scenes” work at praying into His will is that it brings joy and hope when all the pieces on the chess board are brought to light. This is the case of the upcoming National Day of Prayer for Ukraine, to be held on February 24 of this year.
The amazing proclamation for a National Day of Prayer did not come without hard work and perseverance. Geoff Ekart, US NDOP Chairman, Congressman Tony Hall, and IFA President/CEO David Kubal felt the Lord wanted them to take a special trip to Kiev, Ukraine to network with the nation’s members of parliament to see this transpire.
However, they were not aware that there were other marvelous workings of God that went before them. Approximately one year before their trip, God gave me a prophetic word on a podcast that was sent through Ukraine in English and Russian. The Lord spoke to me that, if the nation would establish a National Day of Prayer, He would see to it that the war would end.
One of these leaders, a young evangelist named Bogdan heard this word on the podcast and started speaking to other governmental leaders about it in Kiev. Prayer then fueled and carried this prophetic promise.
Many people will hear a prophecy and have a “wait-and-see” attitude without realizing that God is announcing His intention, but there needs to be earthly feet put to the prayer to see it come to pass.
The other part of the prophecy for the nation was that, after the war ended, the nation, along with its schools, hospitals, and villages, would be rebuilt. This will also take our continued prayers and intercession.
Now, let’s agree with our brothers and sisters for the good of their nation and the whole region, that God will end the war and give rest on all sides from the horrific specter that has ravaged their lands over the past several years.

God’s will for Ukraine is for the country to be united, secure and at peace.
Lord, you know the heart of Putin. You know he will use any lull in the fighting to build up his forces for yet another move into Ukraine or another nation in Europe. Frustrate his purposes. Throw the demonic powers behind Putin into confusion. Let there be true discernment of hearts in the negotiations! Have mercy on the Ukrainian people! Break the Russian demonic strongholds over the parts of Ukraine that Russia has captured! Remember those who have died so that their children could be free! Release the Ukraine land and people from Russian captivity! Restore order! Rebuild their nation!
The obvious.. after the war ends they are going to rebuild. How is that a special word from God? That’s what any country would naturally do. Praying the war ends soon. Praying for many in Ukraine and Russia to give their hearts to the Creator and King of the Universe Yeshua our Lord!
Yes, we agree, Cindy! Blessings to Ukraine, as they look to You, YHVH. May they be a testimony to the power of seeking You as a nation, as You bring peace and restoration. May Feb. 24 be a day when Holy Spirit falls upon them in unprecedented ways.
Lord Jesus, this is indeed a miraculous development! I pray that his will be an important step in the ending of the war between Ukraine and Russia I pray that the people of Ukraine will fervently and completely seek You. Stir up a hunger for Your presence in this war- torn region. Show the Ukrainians that You and You alone are their only hope. I pray that they will seek You with all of their hearts. Thank you Jesus.
We praise You God! 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,. Thank You LORD, that Ukraine has chosen the more powerful force to end this conflict and even in their struggles, they humble themselves before You. Let peace come and rule over this nation. Let the prayers of Christians in Russia also bring an end to this carnal war. Pride and greed started it, let peace and wisdom rule over it. Bring new life and hope in a region that has seen so much destruction, as You make all things new. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Dear Lord, You are Almighty and Eternal. Time after time, You have shown us You can empower ONE to do the greatest of works. You are the power of ONE, our Triune God who said, “I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the Holy ONE in Israel. Holy ONE of Israel.” Lord, please continue to bless Cindy, Bogdan, Geoff, Tony and David. This soon to be realized desire is Yours. These who have worked this inspiration unto realization, are Yours. I pray February 24th is wholly (holy) Yours and as every nation look on, they are filled with awe and wonder. May Your rest soon envelop Ukraine and its people. Lord, You are their rock and fortress; for Your name’s sake, bless February 24h as You lead them to pray and guide them in each and every day.
