“More and more believers are learning the power of agreeing with God in our hearts and declaring it from our mouths.” We see the power of our words all throughout the Bible. Dutch Sheets encourages us to use those words to issue decrees over our nation.
From Give Him 15. “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28; NASB)

More and more believers are learning the power of agreeing with God in our hearts and declaring it from our mouths. We are born again – the greatest of all miracles – when we believe the Gospel in our hearts and confess it with our mouths (Romans 10:9-10). The Greek word translated “confess” (homologia) means “to say the same.” ln a biblical context, it means to say what God says. Because of the root Greek word logos/logia, a more thorough definition would be “to understand, agree with (submit to), and acknowledge this by saying it.” Confessing Jesus as Lord means you understand the Gospel, agree and submit to it, and declare this verbally.
Confessing, declaring, or decreeing our faith in God’s Word has become somewhat controversial due to unbalanced teaching by some and ignorance of the Scriptures on the part of others. It need not be, however. Simply stated, the power of God’s Word and from what Holy Spirit says prophetically, must be released by us. One of the ways we do so is with our mouths. This truth is seen throughout Scripture.
There are other reasons we speak God’s words, as well. In my studies over the years, I have come to believe we do so in order to:

Increase our faith – Romans 10:17 tells us faith comes by hearing God’s words. Jesus said His words were seeds (Matthew 13:1-23). Hearing His Word as we speak it, is one of the ways in which we plant the seeds in our hearts. Speaking the Word is actually part of biblical meditation (Joshua 1:8); the Hebrew word means to mutter or speak to oneself.

Release our faith – As stated in the opening paragraph, releasing our faith by stating what we believe is how we’re born again (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus said declaring our faith would remove mountains of adversity from our lives (Mark 11.23-24). The Faith in our hearts must be released!

Release God’s power and life – Jesus spoke to storms, fig trees, and dead individuals (Mark 4:39; Matthew 21:19; John 11.43). Obviously, He did not do so because storms or trees have ears, and the dead don’t hear. Jesus was releasing His faith through His words. He also released miracles, as did the disciples, through declarations (Matthew 8:8-13; Acts 9.34,40). Proverbs 18:21 tells us “life” is in the power of our words!

Release the sword of the Spirit – Ephesians 6:17 tells us the spoken Word is a spiritual weapon against forces that oppose God. Matthew 16:18-19 says we bind and loose, forbid and allow with the authority Christ has delegated to us. This is accomplished by declaring His words and will.
Obviously, we must pray and decree according to God’s will and Word (1 John 5:14-15). When we do so, however, our declarations and decrees release life, power, His will and Kingdom rule (Matthew 6:10). Like God – and Abraham – we call things that be not, as already existing (Romans 4:17). The definition of faith – believing in what we cannot see – lets us know that we are decreeing what we desire and know to be God’s will, not what has already manifested. This is why we make declarations and decrees.
Our friends at Flashpoint, Gene and Teri Bailey, have written and released the following strong, biblically-based decree over America. My prayer is that millions of believers will begin to release it daily over our nation. As we do, power will be released, and the will of God will manifest. Let’s decree it together now. If you are reading along with me, say it. If you are listening only, agree with us and print it later from our Give Him 15 website. The decree is included at the end of today’s post.
*Watchman Decree
As a Patriot of faith, I attest my allegiance first and foremost to the kingdom of God and the Great Commission. Secondly, I agree to be a watchman over our nation concerning its people and their rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
WHEREAS:

we, the Church, are God’s governing Body on the earth
-
we have been given legal power and authority from heaven
-
we are God’s ambassadors and spokespeople over the earth
-
through the power of God, we are His world influencers
-
because of our covenant with God, we are equipped and delegated by Him to destroy every attempted advance of the enemy
WE MAKE OUR DECLARATIONS:

We decree that America’s executive branch of government will honor God and defend the Constitution.

We decree that our legislative branch (Congress) will write only laws that are righteous and constitutional.

We decree that our judicial system will issue rulings that are biblical and constitutional.
-
We declare that we stand against wokeness, the occult, and every evil attempt against our nation.
-
We declare that we now take back our God-given freedoms, according to our Constitution.
-
We declare that we take back influence at the local level in our communities.
-
We decree that we take back and permanently control positions of influence and leadership in each of the **Seven Mountains.
-
We decree that the blood of Jesus covers and protects our nation. It protects and separates us for God.
-
We declare that our nation is energy independent.
-
We declare that America is strong spiritually, financially, militarily and technologically.
-
We decree that evil carries no power, authority or rights in our land nor over our people.
-
We decree that we will operate in unity, going beyond denominational lines in order to accomplish the purposes of God for our nation.
- And we decree that AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!
We know this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. We know the truth; therefore, we stand for truth and will NEVER be deceived! We will NEVER stop fighting!
We will NEVER, EVER, EVER give up or give in!
We WILL take our country back.
We WILL honor the ONE TRUE GOD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!
“Working together with Him, we strongly urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain [by turning away from sound doctrine and His merciful kindness]. Thank you for these. I felt an anointing on these words as I spoke them out loud. I will print and use in my daily devotions for America and my beautiful state of Texas.
Thank you for publishing these declarations based on God’s Word! So many Christians are beginning to wake up and others will continue to walk in defeat and darkness due to a lack of knowledge and wisdom of who we are in Christ Jesus and the authority that was purchased for us! We will reclaim America and we will be a Godly nation once again! We can decree and declare God’s Word over our nation and in our personal lives to obtain victory and we choose to speak love and victory verses judgment and defeat!! All Glory, Honor and Praise to Almighty God, Jesus Christ, His Son and Holy Spirit!
Many people who confess Jesus don’t take the time to even read His Word and thus haven’t a clue what Jesus really did for us on Calvary! Many who claim to be Christians are very legalistic and quick to take offense to the Gospel. How very sad to profess to know God and yet know nothing about Him and our authority as Christians! Very sad indeed!😓
I used this decree and added to it for the children. We decreed this prayer and painted the US Map with anointing oil and red paint for the blood of Jesus.
DECREES FOR THE CHILDREN
The Bible says something particularly unique about children in Psalm 8:2, which says, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants, You have ordained strength because of Your enemies, to silence the enemy and the avenger”

Are you applying Proper Exegesis and Hermeneutics to interpret Job 22:28 or instead is this using Eisegesis and Narcigesis to apply those Words out of context? If you read that verse in context you will see those words are not spoken from the Lord but are from Job’s so-called friend and he’s giving bad advice. In fact later on in Job chap 42 you will see the Lord speak and he rebukes Eliphaz the Temanite and others for falsely claiming to speak for God.
Thank you for these decrees. I have prayed them in the past and felt led to find them again and print them for my prayer time. Thank you for Standing up for America and the world.

For those of you here that are against decrees: I would like to remind you that God gave us his word to make declarations with. Declarations of who we are in him, what his will is because it strengthens our faith. David was a warrior and he made a lot of declarations all through out the Psalms. Declarations of his God and his faith in how he was going to deliver him. Declarations change history, nations and the world. Our Declaration of Independence was what our founders believed and stood for, it enabled our country to walk in the light of God. Your testimony is a declaration of what God has done for you. To declare is to vow ones opinion or support, to make known as a determination, to affirm as in someone declaring their innocence and to announce ones intentions. Saying I love you is a declaration! So don’t be afraid to declare or decree! This is another way that we as the body of Christ can be in one accord and have unity of mind. Phil 2:2, 1 Peter 3:8, Acts 2:1, Acts 4:24 May God’s goodness chase after you! Be Blessed!
I don’t think those who are posting comments against THIS decree are necessarily against ALL decrees. Knowledgeable Christians know about Biblical decrees. I feel there are a lot of knowledgeable Christians who are against THIS decree in particular. This decree is very problematic, from the perspective of those who are striving to be Biblical Christians. I’m glad to see many Christians speaking out against this decree. This decree promotes a false (or distorted) gospel.

Jesus was woke… That is, he was not prejudiced, especially against minorities.
This has zero to do with the new testament. In fact it is the opposite, as it is only about getting and exercising political power. In other words, fascism.
We are commanded by Christ to avoid praying in public where people will see us. We are commanded to be meek, to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, to sell what we have and give to the poor.
I don’t know how you got here from there, but this is not it.

I will warn the Christian church now:
If you weaponize the ‘Frankenstein’ of authoritarianism to attain political power now, in a misguided attempt to harness that power to ‘build the Kingdom’ or ‘save our country’ – as a substitute and a counterfeit for the saving grace of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Gospel … the day will come when that power, no matter how heady, will back-fire, and turn back on you.
This is what Hinduist and Islamist and Buddhist and Communist and Fascist and Capitalist extremists found out the hard way.
Do not imagine that Christianity will be exempt from this painful lesson.
No. We are not entitled to cultural and political supremacy, because we think we are right.
Turn back to Jesus, before it is too late.

Father, I know you are aware that criminalizing abortion does nothing to lower the abortion rate. I pray that Christians truly fight for universal healthcare, education and living wages – policies that actually reduce the abortion rate – instead of simply sending women to back alleys to die.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is often perverted and scriptures misapplied, creating a “different gospel” – BEWARE! We are followers of Christ – not of strange doctrines. If we are not a people under the authority of God, we don’t have any authority to “decree and declare” appropriately. Jesus taught his disciples to listen to the Father, and to do His will. To heal the sick, cast out devils, to pray and fast, to forgive, and to trust the supernatural power of Almighty God to meet their needs, among other things. Scripture tells us that if we are in trouble to pray, to pray without ceasing, to pray earnestly….. it does not direct us to decree the problem away… Prophetic utterance certainly is important and can be a vey powerful part of spiritual warfare… but this decree thing has evolved into a kind of “christian divination or witchcraft”! The gospel of Jesus Christ and living a Christian life has been perverted in our land. We follow “christian” celebrities, not Christ. This idea that if we just get enough people making a decree, we can “change the narrative” as a different author on this website stated, is not biblical Christianity. Read the New Testament, and discover again how believers lived. A scripture taken out of context is not a foundation for a faulty doctrine. We are in a desperate place in our nation, scripture says “Humble yourselves…” not ” Exalt yourselves”. Discern, discern, discern.
I’m usually very reserved. I do have issues with declaring and speaking things into existence. One may be better positioned to pray our Heavenly Father’s will and be in agreement with Him.
Amen! I have a hard time decreeing and declaring things into existence. This feels like I am putting myself into the office of prophet. If these decrees and declarations do not come to pass, is it because there was not enough people declaring and decreeing? Or was it that these decrees are not in God’s plan at this point in time? End times prophecy makes NO mention of America. I know I must continue to pray against the tide of evil overtaking this country and stand for righteousness. But my faith in Gods does not depend on these decrees and declarations coming to pass.
Its because these people have nothing to do with religion or Christianity, which was not concerned with political power.
Also, in addition to those 7 mountains, we could add to pray against the mountain of any false Medical influence and any woke Military influence.
