President Biden released a video this week announcing he is running for a second term. It’s great timing for these 31 biblical declarations for a God-fearing and godly president to lead this nation.
Do you realize that your tongue is one of your spiritual weapons of warfare? It’s true! Your spoken word can make a huge difference in our nation today if you will activate it to forth-tell God’s will.

Why does your spoken word matter? Because God is the One who speaks those things that are not as if they already were. We read this in Romans 4:17:
… (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17 NKJV, emphasis mine).
It was through the spoken word that God created the world. (See Genesis chapter 1.) He continues today to uphold all things by the word of His power, as we read in Hebrews 1:3:
… who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:3 NKJV, emphasis mine).
Additionally, the Greek word for “faith”—transliterated pistis—means holding both a deep inner belief PLUS the simultaneous verbal confession of the thing. You can’t have Biblical faith without the spoken word.
We are to imitate our God, who speaks things into existence. We are also to adhere to and demonstrate true, Biblical FAITH that God will answer our prayers for righteous leadership in our nation.
In light of these things, I ask you today:
When it comes to America, are you speaking those things that are not as if they already were? In particular, are you speaking out your faith for the type of President you want God to give us?
I know it is so easy to get discouraged, but we have to “… strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed” (Hebrews 12:12-13 NKJV). America may be lame now, but she can live again!
Are you willing to speak the word of resurrection life and power over our President today? Right now, I invite you to speak these 31 confessions for a godly President out loud:
- In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that our nation has a godly and righteous President. Righteousness and justice are the foundations of our Presidency.
- The angel of the Lord encamps around our righteous President and delivers them.
- Our President loves righteousness and hates lawlessness.
- The American President is filled with wisdom from God at a level that has not been seen since Jesus and Solomon.
- Our President loves life and hates the shedding of innocent blood.
- Our President is filled with the Spirit of Truth, which is the Spirit of Jesus.
- Our President helps make only godly laws and executive orders.
- Our President puts America first, before other countries.
- Our President loves and is loyal to Israel.
- Our President prays daily for the peace of Jerusalem.
- Our President blesses the seed of Abraham, and God in turn blesses our President and our nation.
- In the name of Jesus, I declare and decree that our President is a faithful, honorable, and trustworthy person.
- The President of the United States of America makes and removes laws, regulations, and red tape as needed to bring righteousness and financial prosperity in our nation.
- Our President is not a liar, but is instead an honest person.
- Our President has extremely high godly discernment of spirits, which is a gift bestowed by the Holy Spirit of God Himself.
- The American President loves our military and protects our troops and military equipment.
- Our President does not involve our nation in foreign wars of which we should not be a part.
- Our President and their cabinet remove our nation from foreign wars from which God wants us removed.
- The Lord has given our President the tongue of the learned, that they should speak a word in due season to those who are weary.
- The Lord wakens our President’s ears morning by morning to hear Him as a disciple.
- The American President hears the voice of the Lord behind him or her, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”; and they always obey and never turn to the right or to the left.
- Our President has compassion toward the poor, the downtrodden, the widow, the fatherless, and the orphan. He or she does not oppress the stranger within our gates.
- Our President has wisdom from the Lord regarding what to do with our nation’s borders, and they enforce every godly law regarding those borders.
- Our President prioritizes our national security and protects our interests as first priority in every godly way.
- Our President reduces and eliminates our national debt, instead of adding to it.
- Our President is above reproach and is immune to the attacks of the enemy.
- The American President dwells in the secret place of the Most High and remains stable and protected under the shadow of the Almighty.
- Our nation’s President protects, preserves, and restores our religious freedom.
- Our President is a born-again, Holy Spirit-filled Christian.
- He or she is a person of God’s Word, and of fasting with prayer.
- Our President dethrones every false ideology and casts down the altars and idols of Satan, Baal, Molech, Ashtoreth, and every other false deity in our land.
Beloved, the spoken word is important. YOU can make a difference today by speaking God’s will, as is clearly evidenced in His Word, over our land. Your verbal declarations and decrees are not carnal weapons, but they are spiritual weapons—and they make a difference! Always remember 2 Corinthians 10:4-6:
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NKJV).
And use your powerful words to decree and declare God’s perfect will and Word out loud over our nation!

I sincerely pray that the American people will turn to God, who has blessed this nation, and for them to understand what is happening in our country right now . This nation was founded on Judeo, and Christian values, and if our people choose to turn away from God, and his blessing, I am afraid that we are doomed, as a nation.
Father, thank You for the power in speaking righteousness that is unseen as if it now is true. Your power manifested in us by the Holy Spirit is mighty. I pray in the name of Jesus, the name above all names.
Why would GOD answer these declarations from prayers when HE already gave us a President that loves and respects us and our nation; and fought through 4 years of personal torment and lies of every sort,, and is still fighting for America and Americans; while many have turned their backs on him; yet we have the nerve to ask GOD for what he already gave us? FATHER GOD you said that Israel was a stiff-neckex people when they rejected YOU as King and cried out for Saul who was second best! It appears that Americans are a stiff-necked people too! However I’m asking that YOU forgive these weak-kneed unfaithful people and restore President Trump, who YOU raised up for such a time as this, to Office of the President of the United States in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! Except for knowing whether he fasts or not, which the Bible tells us that we are to fast in “secret” (keep it private between yourself and GOD) these declarations to me describe President Donald John Trump! Just like the Israelites who screamed at Samuel that they wanted a King, it appears Americans don’t know when they are well off either! Or a concerted effort to uncover the Truth of the 2020 election would have been insisted on by 80 million voters that supported President Trump! Instead people said, “he has mean tweets!” Forgetting that he was responding to mean tweets! FATHER GOD please take over our nation! Thy Will, not mine be done! Save America from those that hate her! Restore our country and her people to righteousness! Wake up the “Mighty Men!” “The LORD is a Man of War! The LORD is HIS NAME!” Remove the evil ones quickly from office and chastise them for their evil ways! Let them receive JESUS as LORD; and still be removed from office in JESUS NAME! Amen!

Father God U have been praying for an American President that serves and listens to the wisdom of God. This Watchman Decree was written last year in 2022. This Decree is powerful and what I expect our President to be involved in after all He is the example and leader. I also call upon Him to be a follower and have knowledge of the Constitution and not be illegal like this present Administration is. As a Patriot of Faith, a President should attest His allegiance first and foremost to the kingdom of God and the Great Commission. Secondly He needs to be a watchman over our nation concerning its people and their rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Father we know this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. God we know according to the Constitution we should select The President who will honor and love God and defend the Constitution. God we need an understanding from Thee people that they must look at His background before we place a person in office of the Highest calling. God we need representatives from both side that knows the Constitution and understand the laws of our legislative branch. God we pray and decree that the judicial system will issue rulings that are biblical and constitutional. As I spoke the (31) statements in what is needed for a Godly President one who will serve the people- – without wokeness, the occult, remove our freedoms, sign documents that our children can be transformed by trans surgeries, give our tax dollars to illegal people, that ignores criminals etc. we need a President that honors God and understands the Blood of Jesus covers and protects our nation. We need a man of God President that understands the importance of prayer and the importance that prayer must go back to being a must in schools. That The President will stand up strong to serve the rights of our land and protect the people. Too many are running certain states in a lawless attitude. I ask our Heavenly Father to give us a President who will not allow the states to control the states under Socialism agenda. We need to work together with Him and the churches in unity to bring back Gods Grace. Actually repentance is in order from the churches that should be the foundation of what our Fathers words teach us. As Americans and followers of Christ Jesus we stand for truth and will never be deceived again. We will learn to honor the one True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I call down God blessings as we are learning never to turn away from sound doctrine and Gods merciful kindness and love. “ At the acceptable time I listened to you, and I helped you on the day of salvation. “ Behold NOW is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of Jesus salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6-1-2 Father I pray that this is the time we ask forgiveness in the way things have been handled. “The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America.[3] It superseded the Articles of Confederation, the nation’s first constitution, in 1789. Originally comprising seven articles, it delineates the national frame and constraints of government.” God help us to get back on track and follow the laws as was intended. We need a Man of Truth that you help us pick out to guide us back to our True God who is known also as Jesus. I live in Canada but I pray for the U.S. and for Donald Trump. I adjusted the prayers so that they also apply to Canada. The above prayers and declarations are so powerful! Thank you for your work in the Lord. Sometimes I tap the “ I prayed” symbol but it does not record. (I get the general idea of the prayer and then continue to pray at different times throughout my day). You may have more folks praying that what you realize. While we should humbly pray asking God for a Godly President, it should be noted and is throughout the word of God we are not God. We are to declare the Gospel, declare the excellencies of His greatness, declare His salvation day after day. We have been given all authority to go and make disciples of all nations. We are not God, He is the potter we are the clay, we cannot call things into existence as God did when He created the heavens and the earth. The notion we can make other declarations such as this article proclaims is false teaching, wishful thinking.
The fear of Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the sustaining of it in our lives. While we certainly can ask God to mercifully give us righteous leaders or cry out day and night in prayer for justice in our land as Jesus taught in Luke 18 we cannot proclaim it our speak things into existence that belongs to God not us.

I have read these 31 sentences – it is almost impossible for anyone to live in accord with EACH and ALL of these. I have been involved with and connected to the work and ministry of IFA since 1981 when we were in Wisconsin. Please re-look at these sentences.
