1.2 Million kids have left the public schools since 2020. Some believe this has to do with what parents realized was being taught.
From Christian Headlines. New data showing that more than 1.2 million students in the U.S. left public schools during the pandemic can be partially attributed to parents objecting to what schools are teaching their children, says theologian and seminary president Albert Mohler….

“Let’s understand one of the reasons why is that increasingly parents – if they understand what’s being taught in so many public school systems – are saying, ‘That’s not going to be taught to my kids,'” Mohler said on his podcast, The Briefing….
As an illustration, Mohler referenced a new Oregon law that requires menstrual products to be placed in boys’ restrooms.
“You look at why so many Christian [parents], or for that matter, even just conservative parents in the United States are turning increasingly to homeschooling – you look at a headline like this, and you say, ‘Well, that just might be a very good reason,'” he said.

It behooves us to look at the roots of modern public education and to realize that they are not Godly. Space precludes my going into detail here but suffice it to say that after one room schoolhouses, the Unitarian Church was the driving force behind public Ed as were the Marxist philosophies associated with training people into working according to large factory hours and conditions. A good resource is Dumbing Us Down by John Taylor Gatto. Like with Disney, bad roots produce bad fruit. Public education needs a complete reworking, a Jeremiah 1: 10 reworking to find it firmly in biblical principles. Father, call forth the Jeremiah’s in the education mountain who will hear Your call and Your solutions and respond.

Education has always been the way out of poverty and the way to a better life, and in the U.S. education was equally available to all, through public schools. But now that indoctrination has replaced teaching the skills of reading, writing and mathematics which are foundational to everything else, we are ending up with graduates with no marketable skills and young people who have no critical thinking skills and give more credence to their feelings than to facts. If schools are non responsive to parents’ concerns, it is critical that parents pull them out and homeschool or find a setting where they will know what their children are being taught and by whom. In doing this, parents are simply fulfilling their responsibility to protect their children from these influences that would destroy them even as they present such blatant lies while calling them truth. Prayers for all the parents searching for safe schools or homeschool groups in which to educate their children. Our children do not belong to the government! Father God in the name of Jesus, we come to you with heavy hearts lifting up our children & their safety, put a shield of protection around them, their teachers, & the school system. Lord God we place all these things in your hands. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen & Amen
I’m praying that the Churches will rise up and take charge in leading our children’s education, many are already equipped with classrooms and talented teachers in their congregations who are anointed with the Holy Spirit, that the Churches will set up God ordained schools, so our children can be taught spiritual growth as well as academically.

Father thank you for giving parents wisdom and boldness to take a stand against wickedness in our school systems. That their tongues are used with great boldness to defeat the works of darkness! God has given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Amen
I have homeschooled for over a decade. Even so, my youngest daughter became confused about her gender and developed same sex attraction due what she was exposed to through the media and from being around public school students in the community. There is an evil agenda behind this. We must be vigilant and talk to our kids about what they are seeing and hearing.
I just was hired at a local school district in Phoenix AZ. I am praying for the students, teachers, parents, faculty and the administrators.
