I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Pray for God’s wisdom to prevail over this proposed legislation.

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Matt 7:12)

Reps. Joe Kennedy III (D-Mass.) and Bobby Scott (D-Va.) introduced the Do No Harm Act Wednesday, which would amend the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) to specify that religious exceptions should not apply to “protections against discrimination or the promotion of equal opportunity” and “access to, information about, referrals for, provision of, or coverage for, any health care item or service.”

The legislation is intended to “clarify that no one can seek religious exemption from laws guaranteeing fundamental civil and legal rights.”…

“The Do No Harm Act will restore the balance between our right to religious freedom and our promise of equal protection under law,” he argued.

RFRA currently says that “government shall not substantially burden a person’s exercise of religion even if the burden results from a rule of general applicability” unless it is demonstrably “in furtherance of a compelling governmental interest” and is the “least restrictive means” of furthering that interest.

A prominent use of RFRA which would not hold up under the proposed legislation is the Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. Supreme Court decision where the court ruled that it violates RFRA for the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) to require religious business owners to provide contraceptive and abortifacient coverage for their employees.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation pointed this out in their endorsement of the legislation.

“The Do No Harm Act would limit which laws RFRA applies to. For instance, RFRA would no longer allow believers to be exempt from the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Violence Against Women Act, or laws that require coverage for any health care item. The bill, if enacted, could undo some of the damage caused by the Hobby Lobby decision,” the group said in a statement….

Rev. Frank A. Pavone of Priests for Life told the Boston Herald that Kennedy’s bill in one way “is right.” He said, “It makes sense to say that I can exercise my religious freedom, but in doing so I cannot take away the fundamental rights of someone else.”

But he added that the bill is the wrong way to address that issue, because courts can’t be the judge of individuals’ faith.

“When it comes to the matter of religious freedom, we are going to the core of the human conscience, the human soul,” Pavone said. “How are you going to dispute that?” (Excerpts from Lauretta Brown  article on CNS News)

Heavenly Father the evil one and the unrighteous scheme and plan all day long to trodden down Your commands, statutes and precepts. They mock You and do not fear You and stand against all that is good. Father, Your Word says in Psalms 37, 38 and 39: We wait upon You and keep Your ways, and You shall exalt us to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, we shall see it. The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is our strength in time of trouble. And the Lord shall help us and deliver us; He shall deliver us from the wicked and save us because we trust in Him. For in You Lord we hope. Hear our prayers Lord and give ear to our cries; do not be silent at our tears.
In Psalms 10: The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; let them be caught in the plots which they have devised. The wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; he blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; as for all his enemies, he sneers at them. He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity”. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression; under his tongue is trouble and iniquity. He says in his heart, “God has forgotten, He will never see”.
Father, You said that those who fear You and seek You will be found by You. Many of Your people Lord across this land that belongs to You are praying in agreement to see this “Do No Harm” act fail in disgrace and be soundly and unequivocally defeated. Lord, show Yourself strong on behalf of Your people who intercede against the demonic heresy and let it be crushed by Your power. Thank you AMEN.

Any healthcare service, by law, is also to be accompanied by Informed Consent, which is giving full disclosure about the service, procedure, drug, or vaccine. And how long has there been non-compliance on that? Those in positions of power, ex: doctors will hardly ever give the full list of adverse events that occur, including death of what they are offering or capriciously mandating. Vaccines, for the past 50 years have included aborted babies, infertility and cancer-causing ingredients, toxic metals, gmo’s unidentified viruses and retroviruses, defiling blood of animals, insect parts, and brain disruptors. These ingredients are highly unconscionable and objectionable. But how many people know this without informed consent or by personally studying this issue? The titles of ‘bills’ or ‘acts’ are usually named to sound like good public policy, but actually take away human rights and freedoms. How can they presume ownership over our bodies? The “Do no harm” actually means – ” Do no harm to the mega-monopoly medical mafia enterpri$e.” This is an evil, longstanding and increasingly corrupt stronghold that needs much prayer to topple it and let the people decide what they want done to their own bodies.

I would no longer be protected if I disagreed because of my religion if I, as employer, did NOT provide abortion services to employees. I would no longer be protected under this legislation if I did not provide all patients with specific knowledge of how to acquire a local abortion.

Why would any Christian remove this protection under the law for believers? Your no-comment attitude baffles me!
