Intercessors are following God’s blueprint to rescue our nation through prayer and we are witnessing encouraging victories. We are in a battle for America’s soul to be reborn, from individual homes to our nation’s institutions, from school boards to the White House. These battles involve how our children our taught, what we are forced to put in our bodies, and if parents should be labeled domestic terrorists!

In Loudoun County, where IFA is located, the battle for our children’s minds and hearts continues. Godly grassroots activists have had enough with local education policies that undermine their family values and biblical worldview. They have organized and formed grassroots parental organizations all over the nation, such as Fight for Schools which is building momentum to win the culture war. Their influence is a praise the Lord moment! Parents, grandparents, and others are not standing still. National media this past Thursday came to Loudoun–Fox and Friends broadcast on location from this county that has become the epicenter of the battle.

Children are on the frontlines of this battlefield. Recently, a Loudoun County school board member resigned following news of an alleged coverup by the school administration of a rape in a girls bathroom. The alleged perpetrator is a biological male who was wearing a skirt. This was the second sexual assault of a girl of which he is accused. Last week, Fight for Schools held a press conference to protest the targeting of parents who are protesting Critical Race Theory by the Department of Justice and the Loudoun County school board. Fox News reported that Ian Prior addressed the “failure” of LCPS to properly address a series of various incidents, including the alleged sexual assault, over the last several months.

Mr. Prior said, (Loudoun County school superintendent) Ziegler’s “failure to keep an alleged assailant out of school” merited “immediate termination,” and that any board members who continued to support Policy 8040 (allows students to use the restrooms and locker rooms that correspond to their chosen gender identity)  “before the criminal conviction for the criminal case had concluded, and a conviction potentially could be made public pursuant to applicable law, should resign.”

Godly activists and influencers are also advancing outreach to their state and federal representatives more than ever. New organizations are responding and parents are raising awareness. The Biden Administration vowed to use the FBI against concerned parents:  “Secretary Garland’s statement followed a letter from the National School Board Association (NSBA) that asked the federal government to get involved in the alleged ‘immediate threat’ of violence from parents against American public schools and education officials. The letter encouraged President Joe Biden’s administration to use statutes such as the USA PATRIOT Act to address actions that could be “equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” Daily Caller/ Intercessors for America

In a recent story by the Bizpac Review, United States Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) commented on the memo from Attorney General Merrick Garland,

“Democrats are using the term ‘domestic terrorists’ to describe anyone who questions liberal orthodoxy on issues like COVID-19 and that the Justice Department memo is just a ‘method of intimidation.’ [Garland] is saying [the parents] are intimidating school board members. No, it is the attorney general of the United States that is intimidating people exercising their rights to free speech and the right to petition their government. . . .I hope Americans are paying attention. The good news is that it seems that parents are paying attention … They’re running for school board. I tell people in Wisconsin if you don’t want critical race theory, if you don’t want the 1619 project taught to your children, don’t let it be. . . . Show up peacefully. Be respectful. But be insistent. Demand that the school boards follow your wishes. Not the wishes of Joe Biden and his cast of characters.”

We count this as part of the movement to recall the soul of our nation. Brave leaders are standing side by side provoking this nation to real justice and equality. Another concern that has risen is pornography in our school libraries. A mother of a student in Fairfax County Public School called out the school board for allowing school libraries to offer books with child pornography and pedophilia: “The other book has detailed illustrations of a man having sex with a boy,” Langton said to the school board, while she unfolded copies of the x-rated illustrations. “The illustrations include fellatio, sex toys, masturbation and violent nudity,” said Stacy Langton at the school board meeting. Another parent from Virginia shared, “As a Loudoun County resident since 2004, a previous resident of Fairfax County, and PW County since the 1980’s, as well as the mother of a Thomas Jefferson School for Science and Technology student, I was outraged to see and read about the pornography illustrations in the 2 novels at the Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools. These books have no place in the Public Schools system, and School Board members should use better judgment. Our Hispanic culture is based on family values, and these books are an insult to our heritage,” said Jo-Ann Chase, Parent and Loudoun County Hispanic community activist.

Another issue gaining a lot of momentum is the fight over coercive “vaccine mandates.” Constituents from all walks of life are standing up against the mandates. Recently, a federal judge from New York ruled the state of New York must recognize health care workers’ religious exemptions to the state’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Seventeen anonymous health care workers filed the lawsuit challenging the New York State Department of Health. In a recent article by Technocracy News& Trend details were shared of the class action suit brought by military service members from all five branches of government against the Department of Defense over its COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The lawsuit can be read here. They are asking the court to issue a temporary restraining order to prevent the mandate from taking effect. The Epoch Times reported on the refusal to submit to the mandates in two different stories: another judge in Northern California temporarily blocked the vaccine mandate required for California prison workers. The California Correctional Peace Officers Association opposes the mandate in California. “Mandating universal vaccination of staff, on the other hand, at this point in time, seems at odds with the dramatic reduction in COVID-19 infection rates within the prisons, and throughout the State generally, in recent months,” The CCPOA said in its preliminary submission (pdf).

A similar objection to the mandate came from the Chicago police union. The head of the union told their members to refuse it. “Do not fill out the portal information,” Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara said in a video to officers posted on YouTube. “I’ve made my status very clear as far as the vaccine, but I do not believe the city has the authority to mandate that to anybody—let alone that information about your medical history.” The Epoch Times

In Congress, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) introduced legislation that that would prohibit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from policies that would restrict hospitals and other health care facilities from ordering and receiving Covid -19 monoclonal antibody treatments from manufacturers and distributers, according to Daily Touch. “This abrupt change in policy from the Biden Administration is nothing but an attempt to punish Florida. We cannot let vindictive, politically motivated actions by this administration jeopardize the health and safety of Floridians and others.” Rubio said.  The Treatment Restoration for Emergency Antibody Therapeutics(TREAT) Act can be read here.
