I Prayed have prayed
Lord, thank You for parents and teachers who are speaking out against social engineering goals of school boards. We ask You to strengthen parents voices. We ask that our children will be taught Your ways.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Harry Jackson left the Fairfax County School Board meeting Thursday night feeling frustrated. The father of a Thomas Jefferson High School sophomore, he had signed up to address the board about sexually explicit material in the school library…But the list of speakers ended right before his two minutes at the mic…

Thomas Jefferson isn’t just any public school—U.S. News & World Report ranks it No. 1 in the nation—and Mr. Jackson isn’t just any parent. Earlier this year, he was elected president of the school’s Parent Teacher Student Association…A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a retired naval intelligence officer, he’s one of thousands of American parents taking on their school boards across the country…

All this has transformed once-dull school board meetings into increasingly raucous encounters between parents and officials. On so many of the hot-button issues of the day…public schools have become the vanguard for today’s progressive agenda. But parents such as Mr. Jackson aren’t taking it any more…

Last week, the Virginia School Boards Association distanced itself from its parent organization, saying it was “not consulted” on the NSBA’s letter…”

As for Mr. Jackson, until two years ago he considered himself an ordinary dad…What provoked him to take on a more activist role was the school board’s decision…to replace Thomas Jefferson’s highly competitive entrance exam with a new formula designed to increase the number of black, Latino and white students…“In the name of equity they established inequity, and it was clearly directed at the Asian community,” Mr. Jackson says.

So in August 2020 Mr. Jackson and other…parents formed the Coalition for TJ, and…he ran for the PTSA. He and three other reform candidates won their races and the Virginia PTA responded with a letter threatening to revoke the…association’s charter…

Mr. Jackson and other protesting parents are often assumed to be angry white working-class Trump supporters. But this is Fairfax County, where Mr. Biden trounced Donald Trump by 42 points. Mr. Jackson is African-American, and of the coalition members elected with him, two are Chinese-American and one is Indian-American.

“Our coalition destroys their narrative,” he says. “Most of our members are Democrats, and many are people of color.”…

…[T]he experience is teaching parents like him…that the most important public institution in their children’s lives no longer regards itself as accountable to the public.

Are you surprised to learn that it’s not just white, midwestern Trump supporters who are standing up to school boards? Share in the comments below. Share a prayer as well for our schools!

Praise the Lord that parents of all ethnicities are standing up for their children! This is needed in every school and school board. Taking a stand for children should never have anything to do with political party, race, money, anything!! When children’s parents are called “domestic terrorists” for standing up and speaking up for their children, something is really wrong!! Thank you, parents for being your child’s advocate, for being courageous! NEVER STOP!! God bless you!

It’s a Thank You Jesus moment when I hear of parents standing up to support Godly Wisdom through action. May they continue as those in the Governors race are contending for their children.
McAuliffe says PARENTS shouldn’t have Any say about their children’s education?
May we be aware of the evil that is roaming the halls of our schools, the lasciviousness accepted by those in the educational hierarchy? Who abuse their positions of trust with developing minds and bodies.
I place a hedge and shield around every single child in this country. May the shed blood of Jesus defend..

We all love our kids. Race baiting can never work when we all keep our eyes on what we really want, the good of those we truly love which by nature spills over to all people of goodwill. Those willing to deceive in order to achieve a hidden agenda do not stand a chance against communities of people who talk to each other and embrace reality, Lord open our eyes.

I thank God for this man and for others like him who are standing up to the injustice and tyranny and oppression in our school systems and in the world! God bless those courageous souls and protect them and their families.
