The American Medical Association (AMA), the largest organization of physicians and medical students in the United States, came under fire over the weekend for a recent proposal calling to end the designation of sex on birth certificates.
The proposal (pdf)…states that recording the baby’s sex on the public portion of birth certificates…has “potential for discrimination.”
“Our American Medical Association will advocate for the removal of sex as a legal designation on the public portion of the birth certificate,” the proposal reads, adding that information on a person’s sex designation at birth will still be submitted to the authority and only used for medical, public health, and statistical purposes…
The policy received widespread backlash on social media after it was reported by medical news site WebMD. Critics across the political spectrum expressed frustration over the disregard for biology, as well as concern that science is being subordinated by progressive politics…
“This isn’t enough. The AMA should create an entire research division devoted to debunking the socially constructed myth of chromosomes. Call it the Lysenko Department,” joked New York Post editor Sohrab Ahmari in reference to Trofim Lysenko, a Soviet biologist known for using politics and public opinion to suppress those who opposed his pseudo-genetic science based on Marxist-Leninist ideology…

We all need to contact the AMA and let them know exactly how we feel about this despicable “proposal,” that they have made!! My late husband was a physician and I can tell you, he would not have been silent on this, and neither will I! I am so furious at an organization that KNOWS better!! They KNOW BETTER! This is truly politicizing science and that should never be allowed to happen! Subordinating science can not be allowed to go unchallenged! If that happens, and we don’t speak out against it, we are going to wind up worse than Nazi, Germany! I cannot begin to tell you what a “slippery slope” this will lead to. The very idea that the AMA thinks they can get by with this, without any repercussions, should be enough to cause us to let them know, “NO THEY CAN’T!! This is not acceptable to God’s children! Our God created a man and a woman! We do not have the right to “assign sex” to any child, that’s not our right, it is God’s!
Our children and grandchildren deserve for us to stand against this! The price is too high! Not to speak, is to speak! This is the essence of being “given over to a depraved mind!”
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Heavenly Father, please send Your Spirit to convict the policy makers in our government and the AMA of the need to put You and biblical truth as the basis of all their policy decisions. Please send a Revival across our land. Only hearts convicted of sin producing repentant, Born-Again lives will restore the proper direction of America. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
What a bunch of last days nonsense this is. Lord, please , either intervene in the affairs of men, or come quickly!
