UPTICK OF COVID BILLS PROTECTING CITIZENS’ FREEDOMS
There is much in the news about vaccine passports and Covid vaccine mandates causing fear and concern among many. But fortunately there are growing number of proposed bills in many states that would protect freedom. Find out whether your state has stepped out on this issue.
According to the National Association of State Legislatures, over 300 vaccine-related bills were introduced in every state and the District of Columbia since last year and over 200 bills were introduced during 2021 sessions, the majority relate to prohibiting COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
Legislatures across the country have introduced bills that would prohibit businesses from requiring citizens to be requiring to prove they had a COVID-19 vaccine to work. Other measures were focused on lifting mask and vaccine passport mandates. Tennessee introduced a measure limiting vaccine mandates . Idaho took a similar route by limiting employers from acting against employees who do not get vaccinated.
Governors from six states have issued executive orders prohibiting Covid-19 passports. These states have enacted this law: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Texas and South Dakota.
Many of these bills are aimed at prohibiting state and local governments from mandating the Covid-19 vaccines, while others are focused on employers. An additional number of bills would prohibit state and local health officials from requiring COVID-19 vaccines for children.
Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Constitution and Ethics held a public hearing on several bills related to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Michigan House passed legislation that would ban a vaccine passport or vaccine requirement to receive state services.
Ohio State Rep. Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester) introduced the Vaccine Choice & Anti-Discrimination Act, legislation that protects individuals who choose not to be vaccinated from discrimination due to vaccine status. “There are eleven and a half million people in Ohio,” said Gross. “Many people across the state may be likely to decline vaccines like the COVID-19 vaccine for conscientious, religious, or medical reasons. Without the exemption provisions this bill provides, the notion of a vaccine passport could easily lead to a class system in Ohio where segregation and discrimination will proliferate,” stated Gross.
In the last few weeks, the Biden Administration indicated that they will not need to mandate the Coronavirus vaccine. “Let me be clear that the government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential,” said Jeff Zients, the White House COVID-19 response coordinator.
But there are still concerns about this new vaccine and future requirements during a national emergency. If you choose not to be vaccinated as an American, you should not be facing discrimination or denied services. We need to protect our personal privacy and liberties regardless of vaccination status.
The following bills are an example of measures proposed in multiples states that would allow citizens to the refuse of vaccination:
South Carolina, HB 3217 and HB 3511
North Dakota, HB 1320
Idaho HB 63
Nebraska, LB 643
Florida, HB 6003
Tennessee, SB 187 and HB 13
Washington, HB 1006
Virginia, HB 2242
New York A 416

Dear Father, I pray for these states and that these bills will pass. Persons should Not have to be denied services or be treated discriminatory because of their choice of not getting “vaccinated.” I pray that eventually All states will get on board regarding this issue. Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Lord, I pray for all these states and that their bills will pass. I thank you for the courage you have given these individuals to step up against this attack on our freedoms.
Lord, I also ask that you open the eyes of our officials in Minnesota so they will get on board with protections.

Just want to add Montana was the first to pass into a law in May protecting vaccination status as private. An Employer cannot require it, nor ask for proof, except in care facilities.
Thank you for this information and the direct link for us to communicate with public responses to our state representatives! This ease of communicating was a reminder to respond with a response right as I was praying through these headlines this morning.
Keep up the wonderful work!!!
