I Prayed

It has been a long five years since I sensed the calling from God to intercede for our country. Many years ago, I had some intense experiences in spiritual warfare. That was more a personal matter than a global one. God truly worked some miracles during that season in my life.
I had some preconceived notions about how this current battle was going to be resolved. I underestimated the enemy and his ability to create distractions. It seemed one issue would come up and before it could be resolved, another lie would be hatched. I am referring to all the issues the President has encountered while in office. I thought that each issue would be resolved, and the truth exposed, but this has not happened. Consequently, it seems the media has blanketed the landscape with so many lies, we now have hundreds of millions of people deceived by them.
With these continuous attacks by the enemy, I confess that I was getting a bit weary. I needed some encouragement and began praying for God to give me revelation that could lift me up. Over the last few weeks, I have had some understanding of my role as an intercessor revealed to me that I want to share as encouragement.
Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last—salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. (Rev 12:10-11)
Verse 11 says, “And they have defeated him by the blood of the lamb and by their testimony.” Who was defeated? It was the accuser, Satan. Who is they? They are the brothers and sisters in Christ, you and me. How did they defeat him? “By the blood of the lamb and by their testimony.”
The defeat of the enemy has longed been planned to be accomplished by followers of Christ, his Church. God allows us to participate, through intercession, in guiding the waring angels to defeat the demonic resistance. God then ultimately casts Satan down. This is so important. God gives us the responsibility to prepare for the defeat of Satan through intercession. I was not only called because I had some experience in these matters. I was called because God planned for us to fill this role.
Before I discuss how they defeated the accuser, I want to quote something written by Derek Prince. He said it so well and articulately; it helps support our roles as Intercessors. The wrestling match with satanic forces he mentions references Ephesians 6:12. He writes:
“As believers, we are involved in a wrestling match with satanic, spiritual rulers operating in the heavenlies. This is not the result of our failure or disobedience. It is part of God’s program for us. We are committed to this wrestling match by design and foreknowledge of almighty God. It is important for us to understand this, because there follows from it a logical consequence. If God by design has committed us to this wrestling match, then God has made victory possible for us. God would never deliberately commit His people to a conflict they could not win. If, therefore, it is the will of God for us to engage in this conflict, then the ultimate outcome can and should be total victory for the people of God.”
This passage gives me strength and assures me that what I have been called to is God-ordained. I am a soldier in Christ and can come against the enemy with boldness. The resistance from the enemy should not surprise us. In fact, the amount of resistance we receive from the enemy is a sign, because he always opposes the will of God. Based on the level of evil unleashed on our country right now, for sure we are in the will of God!
Look back to verse 11. The brothers and sisters in Christ defeated Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. Herein lies the source of the power given to us. It is by the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ that made it possible for us to be transformed into warriors for God. His blood shed for us gives us redemption, forgiveness, cleansing, justification (righteousness), and sanctification. When this understanding reaches our hearts, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We need that power to pray effectively.
The verse ends with “and by their testimony.” The enemy gets very riled up when he hears our words discussing the power of the blood of Jesus. The enemy must submit when we speak in His name. He knows when a believer has faith and uses this authority. He must back down and obey the words spoken to him.

Another area of difficulty I have encountered is physical attacks from the enemy. I am fairly disciplined when it comes to diet and exercise, so I am in pretty good shape. In the natural, the amount of suffering I have endured does not make sense. Back pain, neck pain, anxiety, and digestive issues have plagued me over the last few years. Recently, I have suffered with severe stomach pain and lower digestive issues. I treated the condition with drugs with no resolve. I felt like there was something inside my stomach. Finally, I reached the end of my rope. I had been reading a book by Smith Wigglesworth on healing. He would say, “If only you would just believe”! I confronted this problem as a spirit, took authority over it, and cast it out. It literally left my body. That painful, nauseous feeling in my stomach is gone. My faith had increased over the last few weeks and my desperation allowed my mind to get out of the way and I simply believed. A year ago, I had the same results when dealing with anxiety (the spirit of fear).
I believe we are targets of the enemy because of the work we are doing to battle against his kingdom. He knows we have his number and he will harass us. But greater is He in us than he that is in world. (1 John 4:4)
Intercessors, it is God’s divine plan to use his people to battle against the enemy through prayer to defeat him. He has given us all power over the accuser, the father of lies and his dominion. It is such a time as this that we have been called. We will overcome this enemy through the blood of the Lamb and word of our testimony. It is our responsibility to be obedient and pray. God will perform the outcome. Let us not get fixated on the all the chaos. Let us put away all fear.
Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up my fellow intercessors and ask that you give us revelation of the power you have bestowed upon us, the power that comes from the sacrificial blood of the Lamb, this power that overcomes the world. Raise up our faith to operate in Your special gifts of the Spirit, given to us freely so we can help each other (1 Cor 12:7) Teach us to use this power in authority over the darkness. Give us boldness to use it against all attacks against us, especially physical attacks on our health. Free us from this distraction so we may focus on the job at hand. I pray for a time of refreshing for all us who have been laboring for the deliverance of our nation from the enemy. Give us peace and rest.
As I was praying, I saw us sweeping out the corruption in our government like Jesus swept out the moneychangers. It is by His power that we can do this. Let us receive this power and use it for His glory.

What a great article! I needed this, as I’ve been going through a heart issue that has left me weary and worried, but after reading this, I already feel encouraged. 🕊I pray for each of the intercessors, for strength and endurance. Daniel lay on his face for 21 days, fasting and praying for his country. When the angel came after 21 days, Daniel asked why it had taken him so long. The angel had been battling the evil enemy, and had it not been for Daniel’s prayers strengthening him he could not prevail. So pray, praise God, don’t grow weary, and if we do, remember Daniel! Ditto to the health issues. I can’t say that i battle enough on my knees but this is going to change. I hear the calling loud and clear. Especially because right now i can not do ministry. I believe that prayer is the most important ministry and the toughest because it is facing anxiety and frustration over and over again. It is not a shining ministry. People never applaud the prayer team. But Jesus applauds it and i only want my rewards from Him.
So do not let the enemy stop us from praying. It is what this abomination hates the most and fears the most. March on soldier in the name of Christ!

Great, timely encouragement here. I’ve been walking this road for 10+ years and last evening was a low point for me. God led me to the teachings of Derek Prince on this subject about a year ago and this served as confirmation.
In this present warfare, I for one don’t want to be side-lined, nor shelved or discarded as a useless, broken, wounded vessel or a POW. I trust He will cause me to fulfill my divine destiny here in this time and place as a good foot soldier of the Lord Jesus Christ. To do my duty—of which I can never hope to do more, nor should I want to do any less. I trust the Great Commander of Heaven’s Armies, will steel my heart and set my face like flint for the task at hand—for the mission He has given me to accomplish! In this THERE IS NO RETREAT———FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Thank you for this article. I too have been battling anxiety, stomach pain, headaches, etc. I have been condemning myself for my lack of faith. I thought I was alone in this attack from satan. Now I know there are others who are being attacked, too.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for revealing this to other intercessors. I pray You will guide us and continue to show us the TRUTH that we might fight this battle with the Blood of the LAMB and the word of our testimony. I pray that Your mighty angels will protect Your intercessors, President Trump, his family, VP Pence and his family, AG Barr and his family, those who are working with AG Barr, and all who stand for You and Truth in our government. May we truly be the nation You called us to be. Let Thy Kingdom come and let Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We bind the lying deceiving spirits who have caused so much chaos in our nation & we loose the Holy Spirit and the mighty warring angels to set our nation free. In the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Betty, pain and discomfort causes our flesh to look inward and focus on the problem. But really nothing good comes from this behavior. We can get depressed and then complain about which makes it even worse. So instead, put on some worship music and begin singing praises to God. Meditate on scriptures, like ‘all things work together for good for those that love God and are called according to His will”. Thank him for you these trials. There are other scriptures that talk about how precious metals are refined in a crucible under extreme heat. What is left is the pure metal with all the impurities burned out. In fact He says count it all joy when you find yourself in these circumstances, because as you persevere you will see positive results due to your obedience.
Thank you for this encouragement. I have tried to hide and deny how I feel from my friends. My husband knows how I feel, and he has his own problems with his legs feeling weak and no energy. We are both over 75 so we are told it is just old age. Moses was 80 when God called Him to lead Israel out of Egypt and at 120 Moses climbed the mountain to meet God when it was time for him to be with God. Praying we will remain strong Spiritually and physically until Jesus takes us home.
Mike … you have demonstrated the power of prayer coupled with faith to bring healing to your own situation … this article will stand as a true encouragement to all that have suffered the same fate.
To Laura and my fellow intercessors, thank you for it helps me to fight the sins I strugggle with, the frustration I go through, the fact that sleep is rare at times because I get caught up helping those are broken like me. I am glad that you have my back when I go through bouts of frustation,depression , sucidial tendencies, and the other negative emotions that I get because of my sensitive heart fot the people of this world.
Sure I got control over storms and the like like Jesus did, but I care for all. You are the only ones that I can go to when I get overwhelmed. Why did God chose me? Why do I have to be the one who tells hurricanes to move out of the way in one place and it hasto strike somewhere else? God is the one who command me to do things like this under His direction I move, in His purpose I deal with judgments from Him along with my friend.
All that I have said here may seem strange but it has been like this since Agnes. will tell a strom to stop and in five minutes it will or at other times I allow to go its course. I am not alone now thanks to all of you I can be what God wants me to be. God told me that what He will do through me is He will send me situations that may crush me, but He will give the strength to do it. You have reminded me of His word and I am so glad that you exist. I love you all and pray that you will receive a double portion of His grace and strength to interceed for others like me who have felt so overwhelmed.
Stay strong because as soon as this virus is over comes the sixth seal opening, the Rapture, the Gog and Magog war, the Antichrist and Ezeikiel’s Temple, te Mark of the beast and the Return of Christ- this is what God has showed me. This is His direction in this world, so be ready for spiritual warfare that will shake this world to its core. Be strong, be courageous for the God that choose me before I was born and named me Elijah in englosh translation instead of my grandfather will be with you in this time of preparation for war.
One more thing before I go, you have greatly encouraged me, I want to do that for all of you. Thank you for everything, I may fail once in the while, but I will be the type of inntercessor that make you and God proud of me. I want to be free from addiction to sin, so I have decided that I will do my outmost to give time for woorship. I will win with you on my side eventally. God has a great sense of humor,I will win because you are all there for me.
I had been praying for God to send a prayer our 1st Thursday women could pray. On the 4th of July, He sent this: “Father God, we praise Your holy name! You are the waymaker, the bridge builder, the mountain mover! All things are possible with You! You allow the storms in our lives and if we just call out Your name, be still, and trust You, You bring us through! You are All Powerful, All Knowing and Everywhere! Nothing can be hidden from Your sight. O God, expose the hidden deceitful things men have done in darkness. Cleanse us, O LORD, from all unrighteousness. Set us free from the lies of the evil that has been done, the wickedness to kill, steal, and destroy mankind. Father God, open up our eyes to see completely and open our ears to hear the truth more clearly. We ask for Your protection over our President & Vice President, believing You have put them in the White House in such a time as this! Each day, bring them together in prayer in some way, guide and show them the way to accomplish Your will for our country. Purge our country from the lies of the enemy. Clean up where the locusts have run free. Lord, we ask that as people see the truth, right before their eyes, that they would willingly fall to their knees in joyful surrender to our God and LORD JESUS. That they knowingly repent of their sins and be saved. Purge us all from unrighteousness. Bring to our minds sins to repent, so we too, may have forgiveness. As people across our nation give their lives to JESUS, bring clergy and chaplains and believers that can help them pray to accept JESUS as their Lord and Savior. O how we want a closer walk with You, LORD. We praise You for what You are doing! We are believers and we believe! In Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!”
Prayer is mighty to the pulling down of strongholds in the heavenly realms. What a powerful promise! PRAY! But that verse from revelations doesn’t end with the words “the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. It ends, “They loved not their lives unto death.” That ‘testimony’ doesn’t mean that we are defeated or our prayers unanswered if our testimony ends in dying for Jesus sake. We will be the ultimate over comers. So if God doesn’t do what you expect Him to do, don’t think He hasn’t answered your prayers.

Knowledge of G-D’s Holy Word is the primary safeguard against all deception
I get very weary from all the news the media blasts out on us, everything these days is breaking news. I don’t trust any of the major networks these days. I have a few selected Christian networks that I will listen to, but most of my reliance comes from IFA. I’m so thankful for their intercessory prayer posts which gives a wealth of truthful information and prayer points. I’ve encouraged friends to get on their mailing list, as well.
This is a beautiful from a blessed man – who God led me to in 2004, since then the presence of this man in my life has changed me in so may ways. He is a messenger of God and knowing him has opened so many doors to the spirit. We need more Men like Mike in the USA and the World. Follow, follow, follow – then grow and lead others. Family of GOD, until we learn how to do spiritual warfare against the enemy,we will encounter physical problems only God can heal. If the doctors are scratching their heads trying to figure out what is wrong, that’s a good indication that the enemy is attacking your body. We must never leave an open door for the enemy to come in and attack. Our negative words are open doors that invite the enemy. We must always repent when we realize what we have said about ourselves or others. I always pray, LORD, take a coal from Your altar and sanctify my lips.
Good word Patsy. Can you share a bit what you have learned about how to keep that door shut? When in constant pain, I tend to focus on it. It’s so easy to complain about it. Then realize, you are spiraling down path that leads to a dead end. How do you deal with this dilemma?
The Lord spoke to me several times when I complained about my physical pain. He said to talk to Him about the pain to see whether it was physical or spiritual. There are generational curses that need to be broken in our lives that would contribute to physical pain. Those need to be broken in Jesus name. Then there’s our negative confession which opens the door for satan to put a stronghold on us.” Like, well my mom had the same problem, I guess I have it too” that’s a lie from the pit. I Always go to the Holy Spirit when I have pain. The Holy Spirit tells me if I have sinned against anyone. Of course I repent and the pain leaves. I am a strong believer in healing. Hope this helps. Thanks for your thoughtful response. There is always hope to learn and understand more. Understanding with faith opens the door for the Spirit to do miraculous things. Personal testimony is a powerful word.
Just recently God has been impressing me with Joshua and the Israelites walking around the Jericho wall until it fell. We as believers need to intercede for our country as we figuratively walk around the perimeter of our beautiful America until the election is over to defeat the enemy that is trying to take over the control of our nation. Rise up believers and put on the armor of God and walk and pray for divine deliverance. Praise God!!

Thank you for such and encouraging message, we as intercessors know we will find those tribulations, but unfortunately we get so distracted that many times we don’t realize, that it’s a distraction from the enemy! Thank you for sharing the powerful weapon we have in the blood of Lamb and His Mighty Word and The Name of Jesus !

A previous comment (about David encouraging himself in the Lord) reminded me of one of my favorite tools in that endeavor, the following verses, first from the King James and then from the the Message Bible. The passage anchors my soul in the FACT that we have “It is written”, that we, God’s people, will find grace to be willing (SPONTANEOUS in the Strong’s) to join Him as resplendent army, including the skill necessary for the proper wielding of our weapons (not carnel, but MIGHTY THROUGH GOD) in the day of his power!
Psalm 110:1-3 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. [2] The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. [3] Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The word of GOD to my Lord: “Sit alongside me here on my throne until I make your enemies a stool for your feet.” You were forged a strong scepter by GOD of Zion; now rule, though surrounded by enemies! Your people will freely join you, resplendent in holy armor on the great day of your conquest, Join you at the fresh break of day, join you with all the vigor of youth.
Check out the meaning of ‘wrestling’ in Galations. One of the meanings is to vibrate. Makes me think of the power of music in compating powers of darkness. Is Isaiah it talks about God punishing the Syrians with his strong arm while being accompanied by … no, not a timpani drum or brass band…. the lowly tambouring!!! So I play my violin across the street from Supreme Court and vibrate the corruption out or there. I’m just shaking a humble tambourine while Jesus does the heavy lifting. It has been tough , but what God has shown me .
First a dream I had 15 years ago about everything that is going on . I woke up and He gave me Luke 21 . It was revelation to me. Since then I have been praying . Praying in the Spirit and declaring His word what He shows on a daily basis .
Vision – He was sitting and crocheting strands in His hands . It’s in the waiting , waiting is weaving in Hebrew , He is weaving heavens agenda for the harvest. We can choose to be flexible in His hands to weave this net for the last harvest and let Him work while we wait in faith declaring with heaven what God is doing . Or we can choose fear and not move . I choose faith and trust in His plan !
We need to return to the Lord for this and we wait for the latter rain

I’m praying God raise more intercessors to bombard heaven with our prayers for our nation and our president that God give him strength and for his protection the enemy want to take him out because he is exposing corruption and stand for the church of God and Israel
Be His witness. This is what you were saved for, what Yeshua bleed for, that you could sit in that witness box and declare your testimony to those who will listen-even to those who won’t. You’d be surprised what our Lord can do with a Word in our ear. Share your testimony, so our Lord can work in the background. Now it’s your time to do your job for our Messiah. If you truly love Him, as you say, it’s now, before it’s too late.

Praise God for those in our aging words the enemy come at us in sundries ways if he can’t get us he attract our love ones my daughter called me yesterday very discouraged said every time she get on her feet a disaster stiles she was hit by 18 wheeler and car was totaled as I was praying about the matter the Spirit spoke to me and said that a spirit of chias that has attached it self to her and for me to take authority over it in theName of Jesus did so, haven’t heard from my daughter but believing God that a change is coming in her life.

Thank you for this encouraging article Michael. Reading something like this is a reminder that we certainly aren’t alone in our struggles as intercessors. The evil forces hates us all and are going to battle us when we seek to overthrow them. Scripture is always such a help.
Heavenly Father, In Jesus Name, I thank you for encouragement this testimony provided. Thank You for renewing us daily, strengthening us to “run and not be weary”, and to “walk and not faint”. As I claim Your promise that You will strengthen and protect me from the evil one” (2 Thess.3:3), I feel more embolden to pray with faith as You assure me of my calling as an intercessor. Thank You for reminding me in 2 Chron. 20:15, 17 that I should not be dismayed because of world conditions for the battle is Yours, Lord. Thank you. I needed this prayer today we will not grow weary in well doing. The enemy is a liar and he is a defeated foe and I thank you Jesus that we overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
At the beginning of 2020 I pray for God’s 2020 vision for this year. This isn’t exactly what I had in mind but just as you referenced Jesus overturning the money changers , those that were robbing and stealing and destroying lives in the temple, He has taken the church and our “comfortable state” and has overturned the tables so that what can be shaken will be shaken and what remains will be on fire for God and win souls.
For 32 years I have been alone here in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania being the lone voice of interceesion and now I am so weary of people that I want to end my life a lot of times as well as eliminate all the people on this planet leaving a remnant because no listens, no one cares, I have been through so much abuse that it would make your skin crawl. I need help , I need a rest. Please help. I am glad for the 7000 that has not bent their knees to Baal, but there is no one here for me to rest.
I want to have a life too, I want to spend time in God’spresence too. It has been rough for so long that I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel amymre. What am I to do with bearing the mantle of Elijah on my shoulders as well as the burden of Moses. The weight of respondsibility is crushing.

Thank you fot it helps to know that my fight in all of this is not alone. The Lord has given me a heavy task and it gets ocerwhelming sometimes. He saud over the tears that it will be crushing, but that He will help me bear it. I guess you are one of the ways that this heavy burden can be a little less burdensome.

Do not lose heart for the Lord IS with you. I will pray for you and add your name to our bible study circle of ladies. Turn to your Bible and read the Psalms for they, through the Holy Spirit, will encourage you. Have you read “The Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer? She will show you that depression and anxieties cannot dominate you as long as you are a child of God. Her book is an old one and many Christians know of her. Call upon the Lord and pray 2 Corinthians 10:4 & 5 and renounce the spirits of depression and anxieties and tell them they must go by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Truly you will have relief. There is nothing that the Lord Jesus wants more than for you to learn and chase these negative emotions out of your life. I battle negative emotions almost daily, but the Lord retains my the joy that is in my heart for Him. You WILL GROW STRONG through the intercession of Jesus IF you are willing to come to Him every time you feel a negative emotion starting to take over your thoughts. Run to Him quickly. Seek Charles Stanley’s website on the internet called “Truth for Life”. He has many encouraging words and instructions on how to deal with negative invasions. Take heart, you have Jesus if you have given your life to Him. Fight back with Jesus’ help. He will cast away evil if you just ask!
Dear Elia, I see that you are very angry, wanting to wipe people out and leaving only the remnant. That kind of rage is inspired by Satan, who wants us to take on God’s power and actions.
Take a step back and understand that you are no Elijah and you are no Moses. They were groomed from birth to be able to withstand the evil in their world. You, on the other hand, say you have suffered a lot of abuse. Such abuse breaks people down, creates a crack for Satan to enter at will. You need to heal, to repair the damage done to your psyche. I see you are striving to do great things for the Lord. I applaud you for that. Here’s what I pray when thoughts unworthy of God enter my mind: “Lord, let me have and walk in an excellent spirit.” (Daniel 6:3). It’s a constant battle but keep in mind that you are keeping yourself pure for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and from you the power of God can emanate to influence the world. It may be happening in ways you cannot see, but rest assured God is always at work, achieving His purposes. You are not alone. There is a bond of fellowship joining all the believers. I pray that God lifts you up and guides you to His place of rest and peace. I pray that He frees you from all your thoughts of self-destruction and that you find hope in His eternal promises. In spite of the fact God called me Eliajah in English translation, I have for along time been distracted by the sins of America and the fact I have been given authority over diasters just like all Christians have . I am stepping back on my destructive nature and allowing God to lead my path.
God called me to be an Elijah to the world and he told me to lead people to the Prmised Land of hope and life like Moes. I have failed many times to grasp the power He gave me and I am seeking to save the very people who irritate me the most. I am foing His will, but Satan sidetracks me a lot. I am submitting myself to the Lord and let Him use my diasters as He sees fit.
Backtrack, od gave me a burden for the broken people and I have been faithful in spite of laspes of anger to the people who love to hurt the very people I care for. Thanks for responding to my comment, Elia. For me to say you are not an Elijah and not a Moses is not the same as saying you are worthless, as your family says. Each of us has been created and shaped by God to be unique. Both Elijah and Moses felt overwhelmed at times by their assignment to serve God, but none of us share the special relationship with God that they shared. They had a special anointing and were given the ability to channel God’s power.
We are all surrounded by God; in Him we have our being. I am sure God is near you because the Bible says He is close to the broken-hearted. If you want to conquer your sexual sins, then look at your behavior, your spoken words and your thoughts. Those are different levels where sexual lust manifests itself and God can help you master the spirit of lust and replace it with the goal of being holy as He is holy.
If you have been a victim of sexual violence, then you have suffered a great deal of psychic damage. That would give you a heart for other victims. However, it would not necessarily make you an effective rescuer for them, just as Moses could not rescue his people until after he spent forty years in the desert.
The intercessors who commented to you had good advice for you. You might find help in the resources they recommend or you might like John Eckhardt’s Prayers That Rout Demons. I listen to it often on audio. Eckhardt is very on point in discussing Satan’s schemes against those who want to serve the Lord. I think you will understand that you are not alone in your spiritual warfare but thinking so is a belief that Satan wants you to hold because it discourages and defeats you. That was the whole point of the article we are all responding to: Satan wants to stop us and he will never fight fair. We must continue to resist.
Reading the Bible, praying, and being prayed for are how you can get free of the torment you feel. Also, the resources mentioned by your fellow intercessors can guide and comfort you and increase your understanding of your situation.
I’m not sure what you meant by telling me to give up. But giving up would be me not caring about what you are going through, even though I accept you may not like everything I say. Your personal spiritual battles can be won and they must be won before you can take on the world. As I said before, I applaud your desire to fight for Christ, but you need to get your weaponry, your spiritual armor in order first. Ephesians 6:10-20. Otherwise, Satan will indeed torment you, just like the spirits who beat up those who tried to exorcise them without the power of the Holy Spirit. May God grant you the peace you seek, liberate you from your sins, and help you sort things out. Amen.
Thank for your encouragement. I feel battle weary as though it never stops and it increases in severity.
Ask the Lord to refresh your spirit and increase the grace of Joy in Him. Seek Jesus many times daily like short little “I love you Lord” bubbles of prayer. Ask Him to increase your love for Him. Whenever we pray or sing hymns of praise to our Lord, He leaves a token of His love in our heart and we find we are uplifted in our spirits. Chase off the negative thoughts by the power of Jesus and renounce them. Give them no room in your thoughts. I battled negativity that would come in daily and as I routinely renounced bad thoughts, I saw that the negativeness gradually diminished over a period of several weeks. One particular type of anger over one thing now is gone. Others always try to find a foothold, but I quickly rush off to a place where I pray and recite 2 Corinthians 10:4 & 5 and name and renounce the emotion (spirit of anger, anxiety, doubt). Read 2 Samuel 22:17-20. Do you see it is our Lord who does all the work in these verses? It is HE who reaches down. . . .it is HE who rescues . . . It is HE who “brought me out . . “!! Trust in Him to help you. But always chase away bad thoughts or emotions and He will hear your prayer and relieve you of them. Don’t allow them to build a home in your life and make you unhappy. God be with you on your walk with him, Elizabeth.
Father thank you for this message and may it come to rest in our hearts knowing that You know where we are at and what we are facing concerning the enemy of our nation and of our souls. Lord Your word says in Zech 4:6 ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. It is You, it is Your ALL Powerful hand that will deliver President Trump, our nation and Your people from the onslaught on the enemy. Your words are significant for this time and place. It’s refreshing to hear issues resolved that have plagued so many for years as the Lord indicates we are walking in an open window for healing for the Saints if they will reach out and claim what HE is offering.
The Prophetic Word has gone forth that God the Father is raising up a company of praying Warriors that WILL bring healing to the forefront as well as His redeeming Grace to accomplish His plan, purpose and the Pursuit of His desire according to His Word in 3 John 2.

I just put a post up with this verse as I too believe the Lord gave me the words after listening to the Doctors who spoke up about their successful results with treating their Covid patients using the methods we all know of (that keep getting taken down on FB). After I listened to her boldness and testimony of what was working, I was filled with tears and said out loud, that’s it Lord! THEY OVERCAME BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY!!! When believers will rise up in whatever field of work they are in and share their personal testimony…it is annointed with the blood of the Lamb and that is how we OVERCOME THIS BATTLE.
The Lord gave me the phrase :”Sleepy Christians wake up! Dry Bones get up”- all in one day…Aug 21, 2019. Exactly a year ago tomorrow. I had multiple things happen all that day, which pointed me to this scripture in Ezekial 37 and the need to wake up the body of believers. I didn’t know what was coming, but now I see it and shared it with my preacher.
Y’all- half the church is asleep at the wheel right now and it is our job to WAKE THEM UP with the TRUTH. We overcome by speaking up our testimony. If you see corruption going on in your field, speak up.
We don’t have time to waste. We are in a battle and God wants to USE EVERY SOLDIER NOW!!! We WILL OVERCOME!!!

God’s Word warns us of the fierce trials that we will face. I have never joined any military branch, but my son did and he said the training was brutally tough. I have seen movies of how weary the soldiers become when in combat. We too are in combat with the enemy. Daniel 7: 25 says the devil will wear down the saints. As an intercessor I am exhausted as I see how little the church is participating in warfare. I am crying out for the church to wake up to this Awakening that is taking place. We too can only defeat the enemy by, the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. We got to have a test in order to have a testimony. Let’s not give up,but keep on fighting on our knees with much fasting and praying. That is the only way we will win!
I needed to hear that. I must admit my intense warfare started 5 years ago. I heard preacher preaching revival 5 yrs ago say “for such a time as this” I did not understand what exactly was about to happen, but I knew God was up to something. Since then I have had weakness & lightheadedness (doctors are scratching their heads) but an intense burden to pray like never before. I still feel like someone is sitting on my chest until I “pray through” it. So the Lord confirmed that this indeed is my spiritual warfare & I am still in bootcamp it seems.

I needed this! I realized as I was reading this why I could not pray as I used to with fervor. I have been on an anti-anxiety drug due to vertigo. This drug works well but it also causes me to not feel things as deeply as I should feel them. By faith I am lowering the dosage today. Father, I pray for intercessors. Let us not be discouraged when You seem slow to answer. Let us be obedient to what You have called us to do. Help us not to be weary and help us not to faint. We pray for our country, for our President and for our leaders. Give them sound counsel and wisdom. Give them courage and help them in their weakness. Cause the ones that are creating division and trying to destroy our country to be revealed for what they really are. We thank you that though the battle has been great, you have caused every diabolical plot to fail. And we pray you will continue to fight on behalf of your people and save this country from anyone stealing the election. We pray that the plot with the mail-in votes would not work just as their other schemes would not work. This is a very encouraging article. However, I believe that the third part of overcoming the enemy, is the next verse–and they did not love their lives even unto death.
God showed me this many years ago, when I was being attacked by fear in a certain area of life. I told God I had done this verse–but He clearly spoke to me, and said, “you haven’t done the third part–not loving your life even unto death.” I understood this to mean total commitment, even if what we pray for doesn’t seem to happen. In my case, I couldn’t get delivered from fear of my house flooding–because it had flooded once. And at the time I was fasting and praying on my lunch hour one day a week. Almost every week on that day, we would have really heavy rain, and I spent my prayer hour fearful that my house was going to flood again.
Finally, I told the devil, “I am staying here and praying, even if my house floods. I am not going to give into the fear, and leave to check on my house. INSTANTLY the fear left me, and never came back! That was the principle of not loving your life to death. It can in some cases, literally mean dying for the faith, but more often, especially for us in the west, it means not putting any conditions on our obedience to God.

I want to meditate on that further examining my heart to determine how much I might be doing that, or just thanking Him through you to remind me not to allow anything the may come cause me to doubt that God is working good in every trial, battle, and miniscule problem in my life, and more in the events of the entire world and universes.

I just wanted to share with you what happened to me last night. I have not slept well in years, and often wake up at 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning. Usually, I will turn on the TV and fall asleep to the background noise. But last night I woke up around four o’clock, and felt an urging to pray. I just prayed in my mind, but I prayed very fervently for several minutes for God to expose all the lies of the media, and to bring them down. I really believe this was God putting this on my heart, because often when I pray in response to all the bad things happening in the country, I pray out of fear, anger, and/or frustration, not really feeling like my prayers are doing any good.
But this time was different–I felt God was moving me to pray this way, and I felt power in it.
Then I remembered reading something in the IFA newsletter from the day before about praying in the night. So I looked it up today–and lo, it was in your comment!

I know you know, by the many responses I’ve read, how WONDERFUL this article is. I know we walk by faith and not by sight, but it is the sight of how the enemy is working to pull down this beautiful nation that was established by God that is overwhelming when you see it day in and day out!! FREEDOM established by God being assaulted before our very eyes!! I am so grateful for IFA and the beautiful articles, but most of all for the intercession for those in authority. President Trump is in office for such a time as this. After seeing everything the socialists/marxists or whatever you want to call the ones trying to take over this nation, I was pulled down with despair especially with the mail in ballots and the ungodly plots and lies they are using against our President, which seem endless! (I have never had anything like this before.) It has directed me to your site and I have “dwelt” there/here ever since. I know this was God using it for good, though He did not bring it. He is a good and loving Father who does not want me to suffer. But there is a greater need, prayer for our nation. I am proud to be a part of this valiant army marching forward on our knees. Declaration of confidence in god’s protection..derek prince ministries. Isaiah54:17 no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the lord and their righteousness is from me, says the lord. Derek and his wife prayed this prayer over themselves every night. He said the reason we started doing this was because derek was writing a book called blessing or curse you can choose. While he was writing this book satan was trying to kill him. He had several illness while he was writing this book. He felt he had to find some way to protect themselves on a daily basis. They began praying this declaration every night , the last thing before they went to sleep. We submit afresh to you in unreserved obedience . Having submitted to you, lord , we do as your word directs. We resist the devil, all his pressures , his attacks, his deceptions, every instruments,or agent he would seek to use against us. We do not submit .we resist him, drive him from us and exclude him from us in the name of jesus. We reject and repel: infirmity, infection,malignancies, viruses,pain,inflammation,allergies,every form of witchcraft. Finally , lord , we thank you that through the sacrifice of jesus on the cross , we have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of abraham whom you blessed in all things. Exalation, reproductiveness, victory, health, prosperity, god’s favor. I share this with you my brothers and sisters in the lord as we fight against the enemy. I am always reminded that God specializes in things that are impossible, so that no other can receive the accolades and the Glory but Almighty God when the victory/ies are won!!! The Lord’s strategies are then clearly revealed as NOT OUR OWN. And these are in turn faith builders for those who already have faith and for those who are seekers of faith.
It DOES get tiring and exhausting and I know I/we need times of refreshment. And God even brings those times our way and you know that the refreshment is from Him and His idea!
And last, but not least, we know the Lord is prevailing through our intercessions but our own prayers of intercession keep changing each of us to reflect more of the image of Christ, becoming not only stronger but becoming all that he intended us to become! God uses our heartfelt and passionate intercessions to build even us! It is both humbling and rewarding.
We may lose some battles, as happens in war, but that is okay, because God ALWAYS wins the war! And so we keep pressing on! Thank you, Lord, for being our strength as we fight for the soul of this great nation founded by You!
I too needed this reminder as I have been struggling with many physical, emotional, and spiritual attacks where the intensity has increased exponentially in the past 18 months. Thank You Jesus for being the Lamb that was slain for ensuring the VICTORY!!

Lord of All, What a gift You gave us when You led Matthew to record John the Baptist’s struggle in Matthew 11 as he waited in prison, no doubt being assailed by the enemy who mocked and accused him of being a fool and a failure… of getting it all wrong.
But Jesus’ words back to John in answer to his question carried by 2 of John’s disciples, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” were exactly what John needed and are now exactly what the Body of Christ needs to hear. Matthew 11:4-6 “Go and tell John the things which you now hear and see.
The blind see and the lame walk; the leper’s are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended in Me.”
Father, You know how many of Your own believers are currently so offended by Your choice of the leader You have placed in office for such a time as This!! Father, forgive them. They don’t realize they are setting themselves in opposition to Your purposes being accomplished.
Enable us to respond to them in love as Jesus did to John’s disciples, detailing what You have been accomplishing Through This unlikely servant of Your choosing!! Your ways are So Much Higher than ours!! We know that You are The One who is enabling, protecting and using him to realign our statutes with Righteousness, to stand with Your people, Israel; to do Amazing things to defeat godlessness and evil in high places.

In Matthew 11: 7-19 Jesus spoke of John’s extraordinary role. His witness was critical and blessed even though not everyone accepted it.
O Father, thank You for enabling us to overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and the acknowledgment of Your deeds through Your appointed servant. We offer ourselves to You to pray on, believing You for Victories that destroy enemy strongholds, cast out imaginations and reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the Glory of God. Bring every thought of ours and ALL Your Blood Bought ones captive in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Unite the Body of Christ in our Confident Trust in You Alone, Your Wisdom, Your Love and Your Grace. All for Jesus!!! Thank You, thank You, thank You, Lord of ALL. Amen.
Thank The Lord God Almighty! I have been feeling battle fatigue for some weeks but this article lifted me up by reminding me (again) that The Lord already provided everything we need to continue in this spiritual warfare against the accuser of the saints of God. Jesus rose from the dead with ALL power in His hands and gave us authority to trample over satan’s kingdom!
And they did not love their lives….The verse ends here. I am sure we neglect that part of the verse because it reveals what we don’t want to admit.

Yes, I find my self greatly encouraged, one thing that discouraged me and my prayers was that my focus was drawn away from my spiritual focus by not just physical health issues but the obvious hate and malice of individuals against the truth and righteousness of the issues and the belief of people to respond and accept the negative. God opened my eyes by revealing and removing physical stress and also showed me to keep my focus on Him (Love & Truth) His Written Word and that the focus was never meant to be about the people but about the powers of darkness and principalities of evil which was my original focus. A good example is one of God’s prophets revealed that he saw Racism, Molec (child sacrifice or abortion), and Jezebel (breakdown in 👪 family values especially the role of fathers). He then broke it down further to hate and fear as the powers of darkness control through emotions that paralyze the population. People without conviction are now paralysed without a Godly focus (a good prayer focus) and abortions creation was instituted by MS. Sanger to eliminate black citizens documented by the New York City’s records that show a decline in births to the number of deaths of black American’s. This problem is no longer limited to Black Americans but Globally as country’s birthrates can no longer keep pace with death rates as people abuse of God’s gift of 👪 family another key prayer focus I believe the December 2019 IFA Connector defines three gifts God gave us as Family, community (The Church), and Government. The fact that our government actually heralded the death of the American family shows how deeply these gifts from God are being abused with the recent changes in our laws to sexualized our babies when adults cannot manage their sexual deviations. Instead of focusing on the people raising these issues, there should be repentance for the death of the family unit, our out of control Government at State and National levels. I for one while praying these issues above keep being drawn into prayers against people in office! It is not wrong to pray for them, but how we pray for them because the fact that they are in government is partly our fault so we must take steps to pray for these officials at every levels that they understand the role they have in the United States is a Godly role and as such they must conform which I believe is a fourth prayer point. To recap the problem this nation faces is all about the rejection of God, that first began by removing God from the National government, recently the National laws were used under Obama’s eight years to threaten local communities and families giving our rights to the state for oversight. Normally this is illegal but because judges who are supposed to be blind interpreters of existing laws that were based on laws are now based on societal whim and realize for this strategy to work they must move to a socialist framework to prevent citizens from waking up and taking their country back (Oh, yes, pray for the vote because it is corrupt, wasteful, and poorly managed). Our focus is on God, we should be contrite with a servants heart towards knowing God’s intentions, where we stumbled, are contrite, and truly believe He is the victor because He began from the end. Amen.
I needed to hear this as I do grow weary in seeing the caos continue evil rising and asking God let us see your justice manifest and bring all injustice and corruption exposed. I have been praying for years for this to happen. Hope deferred makes the heart sick,but a merry heart is good medicine. Praise God! This message is an answer to my prayer. This past weekend I heard that in NJ the governor has decided to do mail in votes. When I heard this news I had an overwhelming feeling of despair. I cried out to God and asked to give me a sign that He is hearing our prayers because ALL the odds are stacked up against
President Trump. Although I continued as a watchmen on the wall with everything that is going on and now the lies from the DNC it has been challenging. This message gave me the encouragement I need to continue the fight. It reignited the fire I needed! Thank God that even when I don’t see it you’re working and even when I don’t feel it you’re working because you are Waymaker!

Oh this made think of what happened to me. I started with my leg giving out and shot of pain. This happened at work. I was an prayer warrior at my station. But having to get up and down got worse. So the LORD opened a door in another position where HE used to reach many people that need prayer. But at home our parents called said they needed a place to stay. I said ok: and I said to the LORD : I’m giving up my comfort zone I will have to go up and down the stairs, so LORD give me strength. That wasn’t the end. That leg didn’t bother till one day walking in the yard : that same attack came. I stood up and declared by HIS STRIPES I am whole. It went away instantly. For to me to intercede is the reason why I was called.
I was Blessed reading this article this morning. Many times I get so many emails that I just pass over them and never return to them. This morning I was having my prayer time, and sometimes I just don’t know what to pray. I gat a notification for email from IFA, and decided to open it as a continuation of my prayer time. Reading this article really blessed me and encouraged me.
Lord Jesus I pray for every fellow sister and brother in Christ Jesus to feel your drawing them to intercession and no Your power that you give us through prayer. Lord I thank you for the blood you shed and the word of our testimony , with which we overcome all the attacks of the enemy. I lift up our nation to you Lord, and lift up our president and all government officials, and ask you to lead them and guide them in all decisions they face. Those serving in government offices that do not yet know you Lord, I pray that you will draw them by your Holy Spirit. Father, I repent on behalf of our nation for our sin and not honoring you in our nation. I ask you to pour out your Spirit on our nation and heal our land. I pray for the youth of our nation, that you would draw them to you, and give them revelation of who you are oh Lord. In your precious name I pray, Amen.

I have been meditating on Colossians 2 where Paul talks about Christ in us, and in Him is the fullness of the Godhead BODILY. Like Paul said, ‘I am crucified with Christ …it’s no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me’.
We are walking, talking, God carriers, with the authority in the earth that Jesus has!

Thank you for this timely report. I wondered if other Intercessors have experienced attacks after our first Friday IFA prayer gatherings! As the writer of this article, I too have experienced attacks and felt the need to pray for one another, us Intercessors, as well as the needs of our nation and leaders.

This was so encouraging to me as I awakened this morning, reminding us of Who our Lord is and the Victory He has won for us in the battle, He has already won by the Blood of the Lamb, and who we are in Him ! We are the joy that was set before Him while He suffered on the cross for us who believe in Him !

I am reminded that when John the Baptist was in prison, he had doubts and sent His disciples to question Jesus, “ Are you really the one prophesied that would come or should we still wait for another ? Jesus replied “ Give John this report: the blind see again , the crippled walk, the deaf hear, the dead are raised back to life, and the poor and broken now hear the hope of salvation !
