Dr. Anthony Fauci said it should be safe for people to vote in person as long as they take sufficient precautions.

“I think if carefully done according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case,” Dr. Fauci told National Geographic in an interview that aired Thursday.

He pointed out that grocery stores have marks intended to keep people at least six feet apart.

“You can do that,” said Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to do that.”

He said people who are at higher risk or don’t want to take the chance can have a vote-by-mail option. . . .

Dr. Fauci’s comments came as Democrats and President Trump are locked in a stalemate over funding for the U.S. Postal Service.

Democrats had pushed for $25 billion for the post office and $3.5 billion for vote-by-mail efforts, though it appeared that negotiators had settled on $10 billion for USPS in the most recent round of negotiations.

Democrats, who have effusively praised Dr. Fauci throughout the course of the pandemic, say the additional money is necessary so people don’t have to risk their health by going to the polls in person.

Mr. Trump said Thursday that near-universal vote-by-mail isn’t going to work without that additional money, which is holding up broader negotiations on the next coronavirus relief package.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany called Democrats’ $3.5 billion ask for vote-by-mail “fundamentally unserious.”

The NWO Democrats, albeit, Socialist have tried to remove President Trump from office for before he was elected. The “power play” has consumed them to the extent they have revealed their lust by any conceivable means, illegally and unethically, thus we now have the total picture of them as the wolf pact, voraciously consuming the sheep. But we have Jesus Christ as our Shepard, and the sheep know the Shepard’s voice, and we will not hearken to the stanger’s call who did not enter by the gate. May God’s Divine Providence keep President Trump in office and the church safe, and hopefully,Whatever the election outcome we will be obedient to Christ Jesus and our Fathers will, for he is in control and we will keep doing his will, knowing that we await his appearance. So the trials and tribulations we may have to endure will strengthen our faith even if we have to suffer martyrdom. This is not our world, we are stranger’s to this world passing through. Pray unceasingly in faith without doubting.

This is very significant for the upcoming election. I personally am very glad to see Dr. Fauci taking this stance. I pray, dear Lord, that this election will be honest, legitimate in every way, and that it will be well participated in by all Americans. Let the results be reflective of Your soveirgn will for our nation.

My 93 year old mother says “why can’t we vote in person”. If she doesn’t see a problem with it why do people who are younger?? All of this is nonsense, they don’t want to risk their health to vote however they will go to the grocery store, Walmart, Target, BJ’s, Sams Club and stand in line for an hour, but we can’t vote in person. Leave voting as it is. If we want to change the voting guidelines, put it on the ballot and let the people decide. Remember us…the people?
